• Linda (8/5): The property was comfortable, clean and in a good location for our purposes ( event at marvel stadium) - Good location. Short walk to everything we needed The property needs a lot of tlc. It looked uncared for, dents and scratches on appliances, no doors shut properly, marks and dents on walls. Pool furniture falling apart. Instructions to get to room after collecting key from nearby EzyMart very hard to understand- would’ve been better to have written instructions or a Google maps link to find it. Room could accommodate 4 people but only one very uncomfortable 3 seater lounge in room, and a random spare chair. Tv had obviously been removed from one of the bedrooms but the wall mount just left on the wall. Either remove it do we don’t know, or put the tv back.

• Aleria (5/5): - Location is great! Close to trams easy to get around the city Apartment is old and needs some TLC. Bathroom/shower needs a good scrub. Only one aircon unit in living room and no fans- makes bedrooms very hot.

• Shanshan (8/5): - The location is very convenient for taking public transport. Tram stops are just down stairs. The apartment is in good condition. The apartment was dusty especially in the closets, cupboards and aircon.

• Tisha (6/5): getting the key was too hastle , trying to find the entrance of the carpark was so bad, the instructions were not clear - it was next to the venue of our concert the aircon/heater was not working asking for 400$ as a deposit before staying? seriously , i never experience any of that in a hotel or any accomodation so far. and will take two weeks to get it back???

When I contacted the host about the missing bed, I was informed that there was a sofa bed; however, it was broken and had no mattress. Several light switches were damaged. The kitchen was unhygienic, with numerous cockroaches on the shelves and inside the cupboards. Additionally, check-in, check-out, and parking instructions were not clearly communicated.

• James (8/5): Very comfortable, just a few minor problems - Proximity to Marvel Stadium and to the Docklands with restaurants, cinema, shops etc. Great to have allocated parking (once found). Wonderful to have 2 double bedrooms for our family. Bedroom patio door to balcony was broken, letting in sound of trains. Termites found around kitchen. Sofa in the lounge was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Also some light switches were broken/didn’t work.
• Karen (4/5): Paid similar room rate before and had far superior stay - Beds were comfortable Very noisy, lounge/sofa bed in very poor condition. Cockroaches running over kitchen benchtop. TV antenna issues, no free to air programmes. Poor cleaning on arrival.
• Kirby (5/5): Great location but really lacking in comfort. - Location was great, tram stop right out front and Marvel Stadium right out back. Sofa bed was of really poor quality, uncomfy to sit on and unbearable to sleep on so ended up with a teenager in bed with us for the 3 nights. The two double beds are cheap and basic.

• Neha (1/5): Bad - Only the location is good To start with when we checked in we found a lot of cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the host to inform they are ask us to send them proof so we sent them images and videos. Nothing was done on the first day so we had to stay in the same apartment. Next day after repeatedly complaining about it they moved us. The property is very poorly managed. Four bulbs weren’t working, the power switch buttons are broken, the sink was clogged. The second apartment moved also had sink clogged and AC once turned giving a bad smell but did not complain because there was no point. Our entire experience was really upsetting.

Communication about the premises in the offer is essential. - The view. *Deep breath* The collection of keys / checkin process is very complicated and involves, parking, walking (not ideal if a female after dark as it's a 'bit of a trek', searching for the convenience store where an attendant holds the keys, returning to your vehicle and finally following directions to parking. All of this would be 'fine' if explained PRIOR to entering a non-refundable booking. Also didn't like : the filthy (I do not use this word lightly) shower, the faulty light fittings that were dangerous as a result, the damaged cabinet doors that didn't close and the number (4) of cockroaches I encountered in the first 30 minutes on site. No dryer is also very unusual in a property with a washing machine that is in excess of $330 to book. The bond is also excessive ($400 bond, ie more than the actual booking price, that you don't get returned for over a week). Not receiving a review option following this stay leads me to believe the property and platform are cherry picking the reviews, which is not transparent or honest.
• Jacqui (8/5): Family of 5 - The location was great, you can walk out and you're right at a tram stop. We have 3 children, so the pool was great, plus the Internet on the TV. It was great to accommodate 5 people. The price was good. It was secure, you had to use your key tag to get everywhere. The towels were fresh. I think the bathroom, walls and windows need a bit more of a clean. There was brown scum around the edge of the basin that could easily be cleaned. The balcony could use a bit of a clean too. The apartment also had a smell to it as well as the corridor.

• Pamela (5/5): It was ok, but we wouldn't stay there again. - Our stay at this property was mediocre. The hosts were approachable enough, although hard to reach the property manager when I called a few times at first. The hosts and we were definitely let down by their cleaners. Once we let the hosts know that the doonas were stained after the cleaners had been, they sent the cleaners around again, so they were quite responsive. The property's cupboards were well-worn, one of the lamps in the bedroom was broken. It's pretty loud at night since it's right next to a huge railway station and the view from the pool is directly over about ten train lines. if you sit down on the deck chairs however, where the photos are taken from, you do get a great view of the Melbourne skyline. More explanation was needed to access Paramount+ via the Amazon firestick - we had asked how to access and the reply was late in our stay so we didn't use this at all. The sofa bed both as a sofa and as a bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The other two beds were really comfortable, however the bed in the room near the balcony had really sharp side of the bed and one of us cut our leg on this. The rooftop pool was good and the gym was good. The location was quite good. There was a distinct lack of attention to detail regarding the guests who were arriving, which is related to the property management and their communication to cleaners on what to prov etc. When you book for five people, it's basic enough that there should be enough towels and bed sheets for all guests. We arrived after a 9 hour drive from Sydney, and I had called to request us to access the property an hour earlier. They said they would call back if we could do this. They never called. We collected the keys anyway, which was easy, they were at the Ezy-Mart downstairs of the building - and went upstairs a little earlier than the 3pm check-in (about 20 mins) since we were waiting around tired with three small children after a long drive and a hot day. The apartment wasn't cleaned at all. There was no way it would have been clean by our check in time of 3pm. We let the hosts know and the cleaners came and went. We waited around and went back two hours after check-in time. There were stains on both of the sheets covering the doonas, no extra sheets for the sofa bed and towels only enough for four people (when we booked for five people so they knew in advance we needed sheets for the sofa plus five towels). Inside the bathroom vanity cabinet was filthy and had someone's stubble shavings in it, all it needed was to be wiped out, so it was evident the cleaners didn't open that cabinet at all. They need to provide two access swipe keys since it's quite a locked-down building, and one person can't stay at the pool with the other person going back to the room/out to get food etc., since to get up to the floor where the apartment is, you need the swipe key. They only provide one sheet for the sofa bed - in what universe is that normal? None. Beds all have two sheets, always - so they need to change their stupid policy about that.

Access to the shared (apartment building) swiming pool was lovely. Bathroom without door latch was awkward with kids and elders. AC only in the living room so bedrooms can get stuffy at night during peak summer
• Theo (6/5): Great location, easy hosts to deal with. Could just be a tad cleaner. - Beds were comfy, parking and pool were great. Good location. Not as clean as you would like, a fair few maintenance items needing attention. Quite a noisy spot but expected next to Southern Cross Station.
• Kirsty (5/5): Passable - Location was great with a tram stop across the road. The thing we liked the most was the 2 free Coldplay concerts listening from our balcony and then the fireworks at the end. We had a couple of issues which Jordan seen to very promptly. Unfortunately the apartment did not meet up to our expectations. We were 3 singles so anticipated the pull out couch but this was very hard and small and uncomfortable and there was only 1 sheet and a small blanket provided so my 2 daughters ended up sharing a bed. The apartment was very unclean, including rubbish under the bed and broken glass on the balcony. A lot of the cupboard doors did not close properly and this was very annoying. The key to get in the door was very tight and had to be forced to open. The pool was right in front of the gym with full glass windows and the times we went was shaded from the sun. There was no clothes airer as listed but Jordan soon provided one - thank you and sorry for the review but just being honest 😊

• Sharon (8/5): pearl jam concert accommodation - location was awesome and the sexy man that owns Eziway mart was very friendly and helpful .Besides the awesome room and staff I'll go back just flirt with him again it wasn't as clean as could be and check in times are to late and no telly in room .

• Charissa (10/5): Comfortable stay at a light-filled apartment - central location with a secure parking space - Very central location, shops and restaurants are within walking distance and some are just at the ground floor of the same building. Tram stops across the road. The apartment is light-filled, offering city and Dockland views, spacious with two separate bedrooms, kitchennette, living area, dining area, a balcony, bathroom/shower/laundry, wifi, and best of all, a secure parking space. Getting and returning the keys is easy; and the hosts are responsive when you have any questions and were flexible when we told them we are arriving very late at night. Next time I needed a place with parking, I will be glad to stay here again. Just a few minor things: a laundry rack would be nice. And some coffee pods for the coffee machine for our breakfast the next day (we arrived at midnight and had no time to shop). But there are many more features that we liked and we had a very comfortable stay so these are minor wishes.
