• Annette (1/5): Brides beware - Great location, nice place. I booked this Airbnb for the morning of my wedding, and the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. Prior to booking, I messaged the host to let her know that I was interested in using this home to get ready the morning of my wedding, as well as to request a late checkout. The host offered a late checkout of 12:30 PM in writing, so I proceeded with booking. On the morning of my wedding, however, the host came banging on the door at 11:30 AM, demanding we leave due to being past checkout time. My bridesmaid, who answered the door as I was having bridal portraits taken, said the host was incredibly rude, threatened extra charges, and stormed off. This caused unnecessary chaos and stress on what should have been a joyful morning. To make matters worse, I later received a USD $600 charge (why USD when the property is in Canada?) with baseless claims that we had "more than 10 adults" staying at the property. This was entirely false, as we had 4 guests staying overnight, and on the morning of the wedding, we had a photographer, makeup artists, and a few immediate family members briefly on-site for reasonable wedding preparations. This is very standard for getting ready the morning of a wedding, and the host was aware that this was the reason for our stay. If the host had any concerns with this, they should have been raised prior to the stay or in her response to my original message. Additionally, the photos of the listing promote brides using the space for getting ready which seems like false advertising if the host is not ok with this. The host’s behavior was completely unprofessional, rude, and devoid of empathy. Even if there had been a misunderstanding regarding checkout time (which there wasn’t), a little kindness and grace on someone’s wedding morning would have gone a long way. I would strongly caution brides against booking this property.

• Anita (8/5): Lovely. The coffee maker was too fancy to figure out! - Very spacious & comfortable. Narrow steep staircase, so my elderly father slept on the main floor bed.

• Shelley (8/5): Nice stay - The location of this property was excellent. We were in Elora to attend a glassblowing camp at Blown Away so we could walk to the gallery each day. As well, we were able to walk to the mail Mill St. area within 5 minutes. We could easily walk to the trails around the top of the gorge. Excellent location!! This was a great property with a beautiful wrap-around porch however there wasn't any furniture on the porch so we couldn't sit out and enjoy the view. We shared this feedback with the property owners who were very receptive so hopefully, there will be some soon. Unfortunately, it had rained prior to our arrival so all of the outdoor furniture (side yard) was wet and we were unable to sit on it.

And a way to lock the door without just the key … to be Able to use the keypad lock . Had to contact the host for lockbox code .

• Lisa (9/5): Great stay, convenient to all attractions - Perfect location, we could walk everywhere. House was much larger than anticipated. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. Check in details in advance would have been helpful so to eliminate a last minute message inquiry. The host responded immediately with all the information, so it worked out fine.

• Jocelyn (9/5): This is an excellent place to stay in Elora. - This is the perfect location if the purpose of the stay is the main Elora town. It is walking distance from everything - gorge, shops, restaurants, etc, yet it is situated in a quiet residential street. The host was very responsive and very helpful. Plates, utensils, mugs and glasses are abundant. The place is very spacious. All the rooms are big. Beds are comfortable, including the daybed. Wish there were more frying pans and bakeware items for pastas, etc. But this is negligible considering all the positives of the place.

• Melissa (8/5): Great place to stay in Elora - - The host was very accommodating and helped us setup the pack n play for our baby to sleep in. - Location was great, short walk across the bridge into town. - Large property, free parking on driveway, washing machine and dryer, full kitchen, etc - The host welcomed us with a pack of Lotus Biscoff cookies; one of our favourites! - The smartTV had Disney+ and other streaming services (I can’t remember which ones now) - There were a ton of large spiders on the main floor. My husband found the vacuum cleaner and sucked them all up - at least 7 of them! - There was dirty laundry in the washing machine from the previous guests (like dirty bath towels). - Some of the rooms or areas did have darker lighting.

• Marg (6/5): Disappointed - Great location. Spacious and clean. Comfortable beds This property was chosen because of the outdoor patio and hot tub. Neither was available as the hot tub had not been cleaned and the cushions on the seating area were soaked. Additional seating on front porch would have been an option. Not being able to flush tp down toilets was highly unusual for a rental.

Pretty, comfortable, clean home and would definitely stay again! - Location was perfect, 1 minute walk to the little bridge that took us directly into the beautiful little downtown of Elora. Home was very clean, looked great, and very comfortable. Well stocked with bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper and some basics on hand like sugar, salt, oil, coffees, laundry and dish soap detergent etc. Also had a good hairdryer, ironing board and other basic extras. Kitchen had enough cutlery, dishes, glasses, some tuper ware, a couple of baking pans, one med pot, a couple of smaller ones, a stir fry type wok, though a larger pot for pasta would have been good, as well as a couple more sharper knives. But, it was fine and made due no problem. Host was great and pretty quick to reply and accommodated our early check in which was much appreciated. My large double bed (great bedroom!) was a bit on the firm side but actually quite comfortable, slept well, so was very happy. The others said their beds were comfortable as well. The pullout sofa bed has one large twin bid that pulls out from the back and one from the front, so you have to pull the sofa to the middle of the room to access the back bed. We were 5 people so we each got our own bed which was nice, no sharing! 2 full bathrooms were great, the one on the lower level had a washer and dryer. Nice back yard, used the BBQ, but didnt get a chance to use the Jacuzzi. Great Large front porch/deck. We went on off days, Mon Jul 31 to Tues Aug 2nd so we were very happy with a discounted price! Would definitely stay here again! The only con was it had no dining table if you needed to seat 8 people (thats how many the home says it can sleep). Only table to eat at was the kitchen island, but it had 5 stools which fit us perfectly, so not a problem for us, we just had to clear the island first of all the items we used to prep our meals to have room to set our plates down.
• Anonymous (10/5): A perfect family vacation spot. - The property was so close to many restaurants and shops. It was a short walk to Victoria Park and to hike the gorge. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating. We definitely want to stay here again. The kids can’t wait to come back!

Liked the shade in the back yard in the day and patio furniture in the night which made it easy for star gazing. The toilet on the main floor didn't work.

• Denitza (9/5): Superb - Perfect location. Very clean, newly renovated space, and comfortable beds. Lovely home, overall. Nice touch with the welcome sparkling pear juice, especially because we were on our babymoon! The place is also dog-friendly which is a big plus as we were able to bring our dog with us for the adventure.
