Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): We loved the place - The location was excellent for ski in and out. The indoor parking close to an elevator made checking in and out so easy. The heated locker room was a treat to prepare for the slopes. Nothing.
- Anna (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Great accommodation, not ski in/ski out though. - Lovely big place, spacious and everything needed to cook at home. Also underground parking and short drive to the Village (or a free bus). Perhaps a little too far to walk home from the village, but the bus was ‘on demand’ when we were there (normally a schedule). We drove in each day because it was too early in the season for ski in/ski out (the bus was available too).
- Lainie (9/5): Great stay once you figure out the lay of the land. - The location on the hill was excellent. Hot tub was great. Place was a good size for 4 of us. Decently equipped. Close to Scandinave. Our main issue was the lack of information. No one was on sight so it was very difficult to get ski in/out info. It took us til day 3 to figure it out. Also there was a severe lack of incidentals. Would’ve been nice to have more of that kind of thing. There was no dish cloth, scrubber for dishes, no laundry soap, not even enough coffee filters or fireplace logs for the days we were there. Zero spices….its a lot to ask of people to bring every little thing like that. We were rationed 1/2 roll of paper towel.
- Camille (8/5): -
- Bryan (7/5): Good -
- Vincent (8/5): An amazing location, a beautiful well-appointed apartments, and a great place to relax! - The location of the apartment was excellent, and we liked the ability to ski in and out. We also appreciated that a shuttle bus stop was located at the top of the drive for those less confident skiers in our party. The provided towels were small, and allocating a single towel for each guest stretched our ability to get them dry when using them not only for showering, but also the hot tub. On the plus side we were able to launder and dry them in the apartment.
- Abhishek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flo (7/5): All in all, it was a good place for the money. I would give it a 3 star out of 5. - Parking in the garage was a bonus. And having an elevator next to parking and unit was pretty sweet. The location was very central, therefore didn’t have far to go for village, golf and downtown. It was very clean and the bathtub was big enough to fit two people. The bed was advertised as a king size, and it was not… it was a Queen which was very disappointing. The pillows & the mattress were uncomfortable. The couch and chairs in the living room were uncomfortable. Some of the cupboards were not hinged properly… showed it’s age (2001) and dated.
- Dorota (9/5): Superb -
- J.b. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bjoern (5/5): Too dirty for the high price - The property location is great. Can ski in and out right out of the property. The view is amazing. There was underground parking which is very useful. The actual apartment was badly kept up. For the high price they charged, it was definitely not worth it. The most disgusting was the fridge that smelled so bad. When we looked carefully the fridge shelves were never really cleaned and were really dirty. We had to ask them 4 times for them to come and do something about the smell. And when they finally sent the maintenance crew, they just came and put some baking soda in the fridge and left and didn’t clean anything. It continued to smell bad for the whole week we were there. The furniture in general in the bed room was pretty worn out and oversized for the room. The fire place didn’t work. The sofa bed mattress was quite warn out and thin. The sofa bed cover was dirty. There were no bed covers and blankets for the sofa bed, and our child had to sleep in our bed because it got really cold at night. They did send new blankets and they were in poor condition and were torn. Needless to say a beautiful apartment poorly maintained and not kept up. Not worth the high price.
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (6/5): Average - Location, the apartment was comfortable and cozy The hot tub was not working
The staff did not let us know about the facilities being out of service, even when we called before going all the way there, they didn’t know.
No signaling in the complex to find the rooms and facilities
Power outage for over 12 hours and the room was very hard to find without the elevator in the dark
Key pick up place was very far away from apartment, 15 minute drive
The tv and music console are outdated
- Maria (5/5): First accommodations unacceptable - we should have been made aware of the mold, odour, resetting - Breakfast was not offered We needed to be moved from the original accommodation because it had a hole in the washroom ceiling plus an odour of mold. Also, the water would shutdown every evening needing us to reset the water pump. We should have been made aware of the water pump daily resetting upon making the reservations and the inspection should have picked up the unacceptable mold odour!!!
- Rob (10/5): Despite some substantial inconveniences, we had a wonderful vacation, and hope to return again soon. - This struck us as the premier location in all of Tremblant, with a superior vantage point, out-of-this-world views, and easy access to the village. For that reason this property exceeded our expectations. Units were spacious and comfortable as well. Regrettably we dealt with three issues. First, we had put money down on three units and were informed by the management company on the day of our arrival that one of the units would be unavailable due to unexpected water damage. Management offered to move that reservation to another larger and gracious unit, but miles away from our original reservation, cratering plans to stay united with family members in the original location. Upon our insistence and persistence, management was able to identify a suitable unit within the same cluster for the transfer, but it only became available 3 days after our check-in date, which caused substantial inconvenience for family members. However we credit management (Rendez-Vous Mont Tremblant) for working patiently and diligently on our behalf to find a suitable outcome; we were quite pleased with their efforts. Secondly, one of our three units had a pre-programmed water system that appeared to shut down daily and had to be re-booted each day to ensure running water; again, a substantial inconvenience, and one that was resolved with the cordial help of management. And thirdly, a situation out of everyone's control -- the arrival of the annual IronMan festival to Mont-Tremblant (which had been postponed this year from its usual June weekend to a mid-August weekend) . While it generated excitement and the arrival of thousands more visitors to the resort area, the festival required resort-wide street closures for a full 18 hours, without warning, creating a virtual lock-down in the community for one full day of our week. When some family members got stranded on the "wrong" side of the street closures, they were forced to kill a full morning and afternoon with a carful of young children, away from our rental property -- in this case, a severe inconvenience. With respect, we recommend non-participants in IronMan avoid vacation rentals during the period of the festival due to its massive disruption of the village.
- Geny (5/5): Passable - Loved the view and very spacious ! We rented this same unit last year and the spa was still broken. Last year we had an informational booklet to let us know shuttle times and other information but this is no longer given. The other owners clearly dislike renters therefore we did not feel welcomed and we had issues with the underground parking and thinks were stolen. We will not be going back.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Great location with beautiful views, lovely pool and plenty of room in the condo Furnishings needed some updating / upkeep
- Britney (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (7/5): Dirty, overpriced, mess of a condo - Location is good We have been here twice now and love the location and the apartments. We were disappointed with the pool being closed for renovations but the team managing the property kindly offered compensation.
- Shir (9/5): Superb -
- Fiachra (10/5): Perfect condo for families with teens - Delightful condo, very comfortable, and wonderful views. We were able to ski in and out from the Chalumeau trail, and it’s only five minutes by car from the base lift. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Yan (6/5): could be a wonderful stay but ruined by a few dollars stuff! - beautiful spacious condo, perfect scenery and very convenient ski in and out. Not enough supplies! we booked 5 nights stay for 3 people. They only provided supplies for one night. we managed to reuse the few towels (go green!). But the only one tiny shampoo and one dose of laundry powder is far not enough. reached to the host and was told to call front desk but front desk said they don’t provide for condo. we had to buy if there’s not enough supply. very disappointed! They charged thousands of dollars and won’t provide enough shampoo and laundry powder. BTW, the kitchen detergent is highly diluted! you can imagine how stingy the host is.
- Elise (7/5): Good -
- Yiwen (10/5): Exceptional - friendly staff, very clean facilities, nice hot tub still used traditional keys even to enter the garage
- Emmanuel (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - our stay was nothing short of amazing! The views from the condo were breathtaking.
the Condo overlooks the village at mont-tremblant and the lights at night are amazing. The ski in/out was great at the end of the day to get back to the warmth quickly, and to top it off, the hot up with the views was a great way to end each day! our stay at as one for the Books!!!
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
- Svilen (9/5): Superb -
- Haixia (9/5): Room with nice view - Everything is perfect, especially the view from our room is fantastic! The staff forgot to give us bedding for sofa bed, and nobody answered the phone, so our friend who slept on the sofa bed spent a very cold night on our first night. The experience was bad.
- Razieh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ismatyar (1/5): Horrible - We booked 3 nights then we were refused for one night because of the previous guests, they offered one night into another chalet but we end up in a hotel. They told us they will hand the keys earlier due to all these issues. But we had keep going back to reception to get keys and we got it really late, it was so late than the arrival time. We went to the property and there was a snake in the parking . We called and the receptioniste was very rude and not helpful, we had to deal by oursleve and we have a small baby so it was not pleasant because shw kept crying and we couldn’t get into the chalet. For the amount that they charge, it was not worth it all. I am very dissapointed.
- Frédérick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb -
