- Bruno (10/5): Our (couple) friends, my wife and I highly recommended this place! Great location, great apartment. - This is a very high quality apartment, ideally situated in the heart of Toronto, with easy walking access to Harbourfront, the Roger Centre, concert halls, China Town, Little Italy, Younge street and many other Toronto specific areas. We plan to come back next year for another ball game trip; many thanks to the host for their quick, efficient, and clear responses to any inquiries! Everything was great but of course, wider beds (queen size?) would have added to our sleeping comfort. However, it gave us the opportunity to snuggle!
- Mark (8/5): Good all around -
- Joanna (4/5): Ok but not coming back - Very clean and secure to enter the appartement. The appartment was Hot like hell the night we were there. The kitchen was so ugly I would never have cooked there. They were no cutlery.
The rooms were horribly hot and the air conditioning was so loud we did not sleep well.
- Fadila (8/5): Bien contents de notre séjour agréable. We really enjoyed! - The apartment is in a perfect location—close to many attractions and public transportation. My nephew and I enjoyed walking to many sites, including the Distillery District.
The apartment looks exactly like the photos and was clean and comfortable.
Check-in was easy thanks to the step-by-step instructions we had no issues accessing the place.
The host reached out to check in and offer help during the stay, which I really appreciated. Thank you!
I definitely recommend the place.
- Joy (8/5): Very interesting colourful place that felt safe. - Clean & well equipped kitchen plus shower room & central to downtown & lots of shops. Thanks for early check in.🙂 Had trouble finding doorway on 75 Kensington when told address is 181 Baldwin.
Us old people don’t like stairs when have large cases. Turned fridge up to 9 but it was barely cool & milk curdled within 3 days.
- Alex (8/5): Very pleasant experience even if there were some hiccups. - The location could not possibly be better. Very new and clean. Unfortunately the lock ti my individual room was broken while I stayed there. You could hear the music from Arabesque below from saturday night until sunday morning.
- Jaroslav (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good - Apartment in a relatively central location. The staff did everything to make the stay comfortable. There are no less than four doors that you have to go through every time you enter the apartment, two of them with a key, two of them with a code. It's very tedious. In addition, there is a problem with acoustics in the apartment. The walls and apparently the ceiling are made of plasterboard, so you can hear anyone walking in the adjacent apartments or the apartments above you as if they were walking in your room. It's a nuisance that I think really harms the apartment. In addition, there is noise from the street below all the time, as the windows are not insulated.
- Chicleracha (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, easy to get in and out, comfortable beds and responsive communication. The shower thermostat seems to be a bit temperamental. Take a bit of fine tuning to avoid scalding your skin or freeze your body :)
- Little-guient (10/5): Review - Clean, affordable, good quality, very warm, very little to complain about for this place. Will definitely come back if I want to be in the area of Toronto again! Nothing to complain about, very solid place!
- Maksim (9/5): Superb - Good owner
Good apartment
Good location.
In conclusion ( 5 score from 5)
- Jillian (9/5): Superb -
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice apartment in a very nice neighbourhood. Fast and effective communication with the owner.
- Mayra (10/5): Exceptional - A nice clean property with exceptional customer support and care.
- Bellamy (7/5): Great location, great for short stays with friends. - Great location. Close to Rogers centre for a easy Uber ride to attractions. Great for short stays. Stayed for only 2 nights. Parking garage around the corner. So many lil shops such as bakery, clothing stores and coffee shops.
Instructions for entry were clear from the owner. The maintenance guy was friendly and resolved the issues as quickly as possible. Clean and tidy suite. We had 2 space haters on at the same time and it blew a fuse therefore the electrical went out from midnight until 1030h. The next day when the maintenance guy came by to fix the issue. There was still electrical power in the kitchen and bathroom. We were too afraid to put the space heater on in the kitchen in case the electrical blew there too. The 2 bedrooms that had the space heaters, ended up being very cold at night and uncomfortable. There was a duvet and blanket but not enough to be comfortable and warm. This was a huge inconvenience. Also there was no hot water from the shower in the morning until 1100h the next day. The maintenance guy had to come by and fix that. This put a delay in our plans on Thursday. All guests needed to shower after. A long day of travel to Toronto Wednesday. This was irritating. I called booking.com and the maintenance guy came by the next day. Very inconvenient to have to call to fix issues of such. Paying that much for the accommodations, the simple facilities should be operational.
Walls are thin - you can hear the pedestrians out at night, at times yelling profanity. To be expected when close to downtown Toronto.
Would have given this place a 10/10 but the electricical power outage was a huge issue. I rate this 6 or 7 out of 10.
- Bridget (10/5): Can’t get a better location for the best part of Toronto - Location and security were great No storage in the bathroom or hooks for towels but it’s such a small complaint when really the place is great!
- Xuan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Manuela (8/5): Very good -
- Smith (6/5): Pleasant -
- Fiona (4/5): Disappointing overall - Good location for visiting the market area. Short walk to tram to get Downtown. Clean, comfortable beds. Clean towels. The lack of air conditioning is a serious downside in hot weather. Even with open windows and two fans working the apartment was unbearable hot. After a few hours out, with the fans switched off, it was like a sauna. The water regulation in shower also seems very odd too as it wasn't possible to take a cold shower. In fact, after 60 seconds the water was so hot as to be unbearable. The shower tray has seen better days too, and feels flimsy underfoot.
Check in was unnecessarily complicated. Directions given mentioned Hanabusa cafe, but this doesn't exist at all. Once we actually located the entrance point, the rest was fine. Note to those with lots of luggage, there is no elevator.
Our socks and feet ended up filthy despite leaving our shoes at the entrance from day 1 making us wonder if it had been washed before our arrival.
- Liddell (4/5): Disappointed, no longer trust Booking.com 😕 - Location Heating was on for first 5 days.. made it very uncomfortable. Pedestal fans broken... maintainable crew performed dodgy patch ups to fans- 2 days before leaving.
Hot water was inadequate, needed adjusting by maintenance- 5 days after checking in!
Incorrect advertising of facilities and address.
OHS issues.. hazards. !!
Lack of support and understanding from Booking.com.
- Kristen (9/5): Superb - Perfect location for visiting the city. Easy access to transit, shops and restaurants. Very communicative hosts. There is no lounge space. Not a problem if you’re mostly out and about but could be an issue for longer stays.
