Guest Reviews
- Syed (5/5): Passable - Location No lift
- Tawny (6/5): Great location, good for friend groups for a weekend in London. - Great location. Perfect little spot for the three of us to use as a base whilst in London for the weekend, and much nicer than staying in a hostel. Easy to check in and find. Decent little kitchen to make quick meals. Clean. The wifi didn't work. There was no shower matt (although there was a mop, it made it a bit tricky with three of us and the bathroom floor stayed quite wet). Kitchen could do with a few more simple bits - a tea towel/compact drying rack for dishes, and some utensils (it was quite tricky functioning with only regular cutlery). Although the place was clean and comfortable, there was a bit of a musty/fishy aroma that filled the flat, but it subsided after we opened the windows and aired the place out a bit. Not sure if this is from outside/the building overall.
- Kevin (3/5): Disappointing - Nearness to hospital. Friendliness of owner. Bedlinen and towels were nice and clean Bed was uncomfortable. Cloth by sink was disgusting.
- Gloria (7/5): Good - Property was clean and comfortable
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointing - Good location as we were visiting my daughter in Camberwell. Bus stop outside the flat. Quiet (as it faced the back not on the street).
Little kitchen was well equipped.(Only used kettle and fridge though.)
Clean white bedding and towels thanks. No info inside flat (re: WiFi, TV instructions). Not very clean. Uncomfortable mattress, springs boinged every time we moved. Patches of mould and peeling plaster. Tiles were dirty (kitchen and bathroom) Hair-clogged drain in shower and slight leak as I had to mop the floor after using the shower.
- Owen (1/5): Dreadful - Very rundown had broken blinds, other tenets where staying during my visit and there was quite a lot of antisocial behaviour ie( loud drill gang music, shouting, extremely nauseating smell of narcotics and cannabis. Music was blaring all night was not worth the money and I never was compensated for the terrible experience I had to endure. I’m a recovering leg amputee and I find it very difficult to deal with issues like this as I no longer have the skill or capability to protect myself if feeling threatened so I locked the door and let at first light. Room as so run down last tenants must of smoked as there were cigarette butts galore. I feel like I’ve been robbed in a sense as it doesn’t take much to provide decent clean quarters but instead was met by excuse my language but a 1 star back packers place, and to top it all off I was absolutely not cheap!!!! Avoid if possible there’s a lot better. I need a refund but if that doesn’t work out I shall make sure every site adverting shirt stays black list this property. I don’t even think the bed was changed when I arrived 🤦🏻♂️ I’m a geezer so I don’t mind someone speaking out of tongue but when I complained unfortunately the African lady in charge laughed and provided no other sympathy/ compensation or a refund! Broken blinds
Dirty flooring
Bed not changed
Narcotic and cannabis stench blowing into my room. The price i paid I could have got a 4 star hotel but chose this out of convenience, avoid at all cost people!
- Rachel (7/5): Good - Great location, good bus and train links near-by.
Clean, comfortable, good facilities, good WiFi.
- Bertram (6/5): Ok for a short stay in that area - It's a tiny and clean apartment. Central location in the neighborhood which is lovely. Would not recommend for visiting central London, but if you need a place to sleep in Camberwell it's ok. There could have been two chairs so two guests could sit at the table.
- Rachel (7/5): Good - Good location good bus & train connections to central London. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. Good facilities. Nice toiletories in bathroom. Good WiFi.
- Pietro (10/5): It was very nice - The landlady was very gentle and friendly Nothing wrong
- Lateef (10/5): Exceptional -
- Morgangemma (1/5): EXTREMLY DISSAPOINTING UNHYGENIC & THREATHENING HOST - nothing we arrived back at the property late in the night as we had been to a show at the theatre, on arrival you have to access the property through shared access, unfortunatley there was feaces all up the stairs to the entrance of the property, as this was right outside the door on the inside of the building we decided not to stay as you could smell it througout the whole property, & didnt feel comfertable staying there, we left around midnight & drove 3 hours home, on the joruney home i attemepted to contact the property via booking.com to inform them of this & that where we rushed out i had accidently left my trainers in the room & could the owner arrange sending them back, i have since heard from the host denying all knowledge of this, also threating to tie my trainers to a tree outside & refusing any compensation. as for location i would give it a zero the nearest tube station is a 10 minute drive away, the customer service i have recieved is disgusting, she has compelted denied the fact of the state on the shared comunial area even though i have provided photos & video evidence of this then to top it off threating to tie my trainers to a tree this host should not be aloud to advertise through booking, com
- Ani (7/5): The landlord was very nice and kind. He was always ready to help -
