• Beatriz (8/5): Apartamento en Castro Urdiales - Limpieza,amabilidad del personal,y el parking gratis ya que es muy dificil aparcar en Castro Urdiales. Al reservar da lugar a confusión porque no da a un patio interior sino a una calle con mucho tráfico y había mucho ruido. La nevera también es muy ruidosa, más de lo normal. Aunque ponga que hay Netflix tienes que poner tu usuario y contraseña si no no esperes ver nada de pago. Tuve que insistir en varias ocasiones para que pusieran la calefacción y pasé frio.

• Karin (6/5): Nur für eine Zwischenübernachtung geeignet - Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und auch die Lage war optimal. Die Dusche ist geräumig und gut. Die Matratze sollte dringend erneuert werden. Das Sofa ist nicht sehr bequem und es fehlt ein Tischchen. Eine Garderobe wäre angebracht sowie Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Küche ist eher dürftig eingerichtet.

• Rocío (9/5): Alojamiento para repetir. - Hemos tenido una estancia fantástica en este apartamento. Está muy bien equipado y es perfecto para dos personas, muy cómodo y acogedor. La cama, es cómoda y con opción de carta de almohadas. La ubicación es inmejorable: al lado de las principales calles de bares y del paseo marítimo, y aun así no se escucha ningún ruido, lo que se agradece muchísimo. La terraza es una maravilla, lástima que no la hemos podido disfrutar cómo nos hubiera gustado. Además, cuenta con dos supermercados justo al lado, lo que resulta muy práctico. El trato de Estíbaliz ha sido excepcional, atenta desde antes de la llegada hasta la salida, siempre pendiente y disponible cuando lo necesitábamos, pero respetando nuestra privacidad. Nos facilitó mucha información útil de Castro como de los alrededores, lo que hizo todo mucho más cómodo. Disponer de parking es sin duda un punto muy positivo a tener en cuenta. En definitiva, un alojamiento totalmente recomendable y para repetir sin duda. Por indicar algo y como único detalle a mencionar, la calefacción, un par de noches notamos un poco de fresco, pero en cuanto lo comentamos con ella se solucionó de inmediato, demostrando su gran atención y profesionalidad.

• Rosa Pera Gracia (6/5): Hubiese podido ser mejor - El apartamento es en un edificio nuevo y da la sensación de que lo estrenas tú,está situado en pleno centro con supermercado a tres pasos y a cinco minutos de la zona del puerto. La cama es cómoda y la cocina está muy limpia ( todo está muy limpio)y perfectamente equipada para poder cocinar si se desea. Todo decorado a la última y el baño con una amplia ducha y buena presión de agua. Una terraza grande para poder desayunar etc con el buen tiempo. La mini nevera emite un ruido desagradable que se oye desde la cama cada cierto tiempo. El sofá no puede ser más incómodo,sin brazos. Carteles con normas y pautas por todos lados. Nos pusimos en contacto la primera noche con la anfitriona para comentarle que teníamos frío y no nos funcionaba el termostato, pensando que no estaba encendida la caldera o algo así. Estaba de viaje y no nos pudo contestar hasta el día siguiente que funcionaba por aerotermia vía wifi y que a ella le daba 21 grados con lo cual no saltaba el termostato. A la noche siguiente volvimos a pasar frío ,ahí no había ninguna sensación de calefacción ni de nada,con 21 grados es evidente que hay una fuente de calor y en este caso o no funcionaba o hasta ya dudabamos de que estuviera activada. Hubiera sido un gran detalle que se hubiera preocupado más o por subir los grados o por investigar que es lo que ocurre, porque que ya lo digamos una vez y la cosa sea exacta la noche siguiente... pues bien no te sienta la verdad. Que íbamos con pijamas y batas de invierno y menos mal..pelados de frío oiga..Bendito sopinstant..

• Javier (6/5): Baño en interior de dormitorio y ruidoso - Buena ubicación y parking gratuito El baño está dentro del dormitorio por lo que las personas que duermen en el salón deben acceder al dormitorio cada vez que quieren hacer su uso. Por ello no recomiendo este alojamiento para más de 2 ocupantes. Por otro lado, las ventanas dan a una calle con bastante tráfico, por lo que el descanso no es óptimo.

• Ander (10/5): Perfecta para un fin de semana en castro - La ubicación es excelente y poder aparcar sin complicarte mucho la vida y de forma gratuita es un puntazo. Por otro lado la terraza genial para tomarte algo con los amigos. El sofá cama no es ideal para dormir varias noches seguidas. Por el tamaño de la propiedad es más cómoda para dos personas o una familia con niños.
• Thomas (7/5): Good - The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The central location is excellent for walking. The parking was free but was offsite and required a key card that did not work well. This required a LOT of calls to the owners, who were extremely nice, but it was a pain. The parking station was doing construction, so hopefully it will get sorted out. The apartment is on a busy street and there is no air conditioning, so opening the windows is necessary to keep a good temperature. Unfortunately there is lots of traffic making it hard to sleep. As I mentioned the hosts were VERY friendly and easy to speak to!!

Good hot water It was wet weather, cold and the heaters were turned off. The fridge had been turned off and we didn't realise because the light still came on.
• Jamesfield (8/5): Nice apartment, great location. - This is an excellent apartment for a short stay in town. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is clean and bright and has everything you need. The large balcony is perfect for an evening glass of wine and the smart TV was also a nice touch. The parking was also easy and convenient, just a few minutes walk away through a pretty part of the town. We would absolutely stay here again if we were passing through. We enjoyed our stay, but the only not so great thing was the climate control. The owner told us not to touch it and that she has the control on wifi, which is a bit strange. It was set to 20, but actually inside the apartment was 16 degrees in the morning. Cold and not pleasant and we shouldn't need to message somebody to adjust temperature at 5am in the morning. But apart from this everything was excellent and we rated our stay accordingly.
• Theconor (9/5): Friendly, modern, great location - It is modern and feels secure. It is central, easy to walk to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the harbour. I never met the hosts but over the phone they were more than helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. There was little not to like. As I made the booking just as I arrived in the town I had to get access and parking instructions by phone as no email instructions had yet arrived. Were it not for the fact that I do speak Spanish, I have no idea how I would have figured it all out as the hosts do not speak English. I had to park the car on the footpath outside the apartment so as to transfer my bags inside and collect the card, from inside the apartment, to access parking. Entry codes were provided over WhatsApp. And I had to do that in reverse when leaving. Parking is only 200/300 meters away so the walk back to the apartment is not much.

Initial impressions are always important and the apartment was immaculate and well presented for our arrival Only critism is the Latino bar opposite could be a little noisy at times
• Alison (9/5): Superb - The place we had booked through booking.com was double booked and we had 2 hours to find a place for 4 from the Guggenheim. The host was just magnificent…. Inspite of being short on time himself, he went above and beyond to make sure we were Ok and checked again the next day to make sure it was all good. Good food shops nearby as well

The apartment is perfect - clean, well-equipped, good location, free parking - 10/10, but it's situated in the noisy street, street side and first foor, so it's very hard to relax or sleep at all. 1/10. I can't recommend it, unless you are heavy sleeper, then it's perfect, less signs of what one shouldn't do in the apartment

• Anne (7/5): Very nice little apartment - The apartment was very good, very new, clean and well equipped for a small space. The host was super helpful and attentive. The flat is located on a noisy road and there is no air conditioning so windows need to be open as much as possible.

• Derek (8/5): Very good - On a busy street in centre of town. Work going on the ground floor of property so rather noisy. Had to supply a 150 euro deposit in cash before we were allowed in, refunded ok but made for a stressful start to the stay.
• Peterontrip (7/5): Good - There is nothing to criticize about this apartment, however we have chosen to give a score of only 7 points, because there were a few things not correct which we did not like: 1.] During our 4 days stay (April 23-27, 2023) it was impossible to remain in the apartment (located on the 1st floor) because there were heavy construction works on the ground floor which were (without exaggeration) extremely loud, i.e. deep hammering/drilling etc. during day times (starting 8:15 in the morning, all day, not at night). We were not informed about this unacceptable situation, but were caught by surprise in the morning. 2.] On our arrival (without prior notice), the host requested a deposit of 150 Euro to be made in cash instantly which will be returned on departure. We were surprised. As we never experienced such policies with booking.com, we refused to make the deposit which was accepted. 3.] The description of the accommodation stated that the 2 swimming pools are "Open all year" however when we were there (April 23-27, 2023) the host said to us that the pools are only open in summer from end of June to beginning of September. 4.] On our departure, the host wrote to us suggesting "you evaluate us with a score of 10 and a review. We will do the same." We don't like this kind of business style.
