• Mike And Debbie (10/5): Fantastic accommodation in an incredible setting- highly recommended. - The apartment is spacious, very clean and in an excellent location in the Jewish quarter of the Old Town. It is very easy to get everywhere in the old town from this very central location. The directions we received from Balbino the owner were very clear and precise and he offered us excellent advice regarding getting there, how to access the lock box, photos of what the exterior of the property looked like, all of which made for a seamless check in. We were going to arrive in Cordoba at 12:30 pm and he very kindly let us drop our luggage off early and we then went out to explore without having to worry about suitcases. The bathroom has an amazing shower and storage for our vanity bags and while we didn’t use the cooking facilities, the kitchen had everything one would need if you wanted to cook. There is an excellent coffee shop across the street, a gelataria next door, and a supermarket 2 minutes walk up the road. The rooftop terrace is fantastic and we sat there every night watching the lights of the Cathedral come on. We highly recommend this property- it made for a fabulous stay. We loved everything about this property and will stay here again should we be lucky enough to return to Cordoba.

• Dilys (10/5): We enjoyed every minute our time there! - We had such a wonderful time staying in Balbino’s place right in the centre of Córdoba. It was perfect to just sit and watch the world go by below the balcony. The apartment was so nice and comfortable, with everything nearby. We loved visiting the Mezquita and all the garden patios full of beautiful flowers and tranquility. The cafes and restaurants are all great with very attentive service, and most delicious tapas. We were sad to leave Córdoba! Thank you so much 🙏 Balbino!!

In cucina mancava l’olio il contenitore del caffè era molto datato nessun asciuga piatti mi sono arrangiata con l’ asciugamano del bagno . La terrazza la sfrutti solo il mattino presto o la sera tardi in quanto è in pieno sole e non vi è nessun ombrellone , e in pieno centro storico per cui per chi ama il rumore va bene . • ELOY (10/5): Alegre y divertida - Fantástica ubicación a 1 minuto de la mezquita y a 5 de cualquier sitio de interés de la Judería. El apartamento cómodo y funcional con 4 balcones a una de las calles con más movimiento de Córdoba. La terraza es una maravilla con vistas muuuy cercanas a la torre de la Catedral y a la Mezquita, con una bonita panorámica del barrio. Balbino, el anfitrión, nos envió todo tipo de información muy útil y contestó y solucionó inmediatamente a un problemilla que tuvimos. Si vas en pareja y te gusta estar en el corazón de todo ... éste es tu sitio. La decoración es escasa y necesita un toque de color y alegría que nos recuerde donde estamos.

• PaquiCalero (2/5): Muy mal olor - Horrible... Nuestra experiencia no ha sido nada buena porque el apartamento tiene una churrería justo debajo y nos entraba el humo y el olor a fritanga. No se pueden ni abrir los balcones porque era horrible el olor y el pestazo. Continuamos el viaje con el pestazo encima y tuve que lavar hasta la chaqueta y el neceser al llegar a casa. Lo aguantamos porque estuvimos únicamente una noche pero si tenemos que quedarnos otra noche no lo soportaríamos. Pagamos 196 euros por una noche y la experiencia ha sido muy desagradable, de verdad. No será culpa del propietario pero tampoco del viajero: Salimos apestando.
• Enrico (10/5): Perfect place to visit Cordoba - Everything was perfect. The apartment is bright, clean, with a really beautiful terrace to enjoy the sun. The host shared good recommendations for my stay, from what to visit to where to eat. The check-in was very easy and the instructions were very simple and very clear. I'd definitely recommend this place and would stay here again myself. Everything was perfect. Only detail maybe: the ceiling lamp in the bedroom remains a little bright even when it's turned off - so if you like to sleep in total darkness, bring a mask!

• Trevor (8/5): Great location - Superb location. 3 minutes walk to the Mosque Cathedral. Cute location on the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter. Good powerful shower. Nice to sit and look out over the balcony. (Not on the balcony!) Very comfy beds. Plenty of space. (We were on the 2nd floor with 2 opening large windows) A better selection of complementary Tea and coffees would be easy to supply.

• Ants (10/5): Flat in the core if Cordoba - Great location, absolute nice flat, super host, great communication. Clean, beautiful, functional. Calm enough even in the middle of the core. The terrace one level up was an extra superior feature. Not any unpleasant odors, as is often the case in old houses where the renovation is incomplete or the house drains do not meet current requirements. We loved it. Better and even more pleasant than in the pictures. Thank you! The stairs were a bid hard for a handicap. We had an issue with the induction cooker, but the host made everything the solve it. Cups for espresso would have been nice :)

• Wendyfaye (10/5): - The location was awesome. Very clean. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Lots of natural light. The rooftop terrace was so nice to sit and enjoy a beverage. Well stocked kitchen. Coffee pot was a learning curve. We are not used to induction. The coffee pot by itself did not seem to have enough weight to trigger the burner. Adding a pot of water next to it solved the issue, and we had hot water for an Americano. There is a bit of noise but nothing more than expected in a unit in the historic area. Location made it worth a bit of inconvenience. Nothing.

• Farrah (9/5): A perfect stay for exploring Cordoba - The location was perfect with everything in walking distance. Was clean, comfortable and had most of what you needed to self cater. Views from terrace and our windows were beautiful. Would definitely recommend! Needed a third towel for our son and maybe a kettle would have been nice.

• Helene (9/5): An enjoyable stay! - Location, location! You stepped out of the door straight into a vibrant lane with a small supermarket near by. So close to the Mezquita and endless restaurants. Communication from the host was excellent and they answered all my questions and were very helpful. The information sent prior to check-in was very comprehensive. It was slightly noisy even with the shutters down however I was expecting that after reading other reviews. I would have liked some body wash to be provided.
• Keith (10/5): - Location, and especially the quick and easy communication with the host,Babino. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable. Stove top and coffee maker. It took 25 minutes on average to make a cup of coffee. It would have been helpful to have had instructions on how to use the stove top. Although, we could have just asked and I'm sure Balbino would have responded right away.
• Lorraine (8/5): On the whole an excellent, place. You are in the centre of the old town so noise late at night and early morning (shutte - Proximity to the old town and attractions. Outside terrace is a plus - more comfortable seating perhaps for evening drinks. Excellent communication with the host throughout our stay, very responsive and helpful. Minimal ‘basics’ like tea/cofffee, shower gel, but no shampoo (can use it for both I know). There is a ‘coffee pot’ and filter coffee available but we were not sure how to use it. A kettle may be useful 😊 Someone mentioned a while ago that only 1 wine glass, this still was the case (we did mention too). There are water glasses but one or two wine glasses would be useful.
• Marie (9/5): Lovely place. Fantastic location. Great atmosphere. Bars and restaurants right in the doorstep - Amazing location. Right in the thick of the historical centre. Parking nearby. Places to eat and drink and wonderful atmosphere right on the doorstep. But fantastic sound proofing and air con too. The terrace was a bonus but it was very hot. Would have been nice to have had some shade in the terrace. Balbino was a great help. Answered everything really quickly and gave great instruction. Nothing. It was great.

The roof terrace was a lovely bonus (could only been improved with comfortable chairs). Bed was comfy, small but functional bathroom. Great Comms from the owner/agent. Sparse equipment. One wine glass and the coffee percolator bring a little temperamental with the induction hob were minor annoyances. No real negatives.

It was spacious with 4 small balconies overlooking the cobblestone intersection and was great for people watching. There was a rooftop terrace with a washer that we utilized and much appreciated. Communication about access was excellent and made it easy to find and get in There are two flights of stairs to get into the apartment but they were easy to navigate The location is very central, just around the corner from the Mesquite but this meant there was noise from people in restaurants and bars through until the early hours. We still thought it was a good trade off for the apartment itself and the location

Host immediately replies to any questions. Apartment is good size for two people. Can be noisy but sleeping with blinds down helped.

• Linda (8/5): Great value and space in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. - Great little place in the heart of the Judería. AC works well.Shower pressure is fabulous. The bed was comfortable. We did not cook or use the fridge but it is well appointed except in the bathroom where it is lacking shelves to put your toiletries. This is not the first place we have this problem. Even some hotels. Lovely rooftop with a couple tables and chairs and there is a washing machine I’m sure some will find useful. No shelves in bathroom for toiletries. Cheap toilet paper

• Mike (10/5): For an off-site digital nomad worker - this apartment worked really well - will return again - Apartment is in the middle of the old historic quarter. Nice buzz outside through the day (down below - on 2nd floor). I was there for a 10 day off-site to get planning work done. Worked really well - worked all day - lovely leisurely walks in the evening. Not much I did not like. In the bedroom, the main light does not go off entirely and I like a pitch dark room. I know this would not annoy many people as its very dull light. I am scraping to say anything negative though.
• Paul (1/5): Freezing showers and loud noise - Balcony/terrace. Freezing cold showers in the morning with no solution offered by the whatsapp contact. We resorted to boiling pans of water to subsidise the lack of hot or even warm water. Loud nosies outside the apartment from early morning to late at night making it impossible to sleep. Hair and dust on the floor as we entered the apartment. No kettle or coffee making facilities. Hard sofa. One pillow each for the bed. Very poor quality experience.

• Choy (8/5): Wouldn’t book this again because of the street noise - 5 minutes to Mezquita. Very responsive host. Apartment is spic and span. Located on an extremely busy and noisy street full of loud pedestrians. People talking outside until 2am and the noise starts again at 7am. You need to keep the windows shut because of the noise and the lack of privacy. If you want good night’s sleep, suggest you book a quieter hotel on a side street.
