• JCPP (8/5): Gran casa, muy mal camino - La ubicación de la casa es espectacular, en pleno Guadiana, sin ningún ruido. Las camas muy cómodas. El camino es una tortura para el coche, recomiendo ir minimo en algo tipo SUV. La terraza tiene unas vistas increíbles, pero solo hay dos bancos de hierro (tipo a los de la calle) para sentarse una mesa plegable de playa. Tras las últimas riadas el embarcadero y la playa están destrozados.
• Cara Cabin (5/5): Not entirely accurate listing, but a tranquil getaway. - The house is characterful, the surrounds are tranquil and the views are stunning. An ideal base to stay for bird watching or walking. It's difficult to know how to rate this home as although the house itself and the setting are lovely, the listing is not accurate on booking. com so we felt it is misleading. The facilities are incorrect e.g. no washing machine, no second bathroom, no water sports (and certainly no airport transfers, karaoke, casino etc not that we wanted those but strange they're listed!) The photos need to be updated as sadly the pretty sandy beach as shown in the pictures is now overrun with weeds and mud, the dock is broken and there weren't any kayaks. I assume this is due to recent flooding? The main problem is the address and map provided are completely inaccurate, the travel time along a dirt road is approximately 40 minutes from Villablanca to the river. The road is in poor condition so although it is passable, passage is slow due to potholes. It is good to know that one would need to come.prepared with provisions as it's not possible to drive quickly to a shop! Communication from the host was poor and directions unclear so our arrival was stressful and took an extra hour as we took a wrong road according to the instructions we were given We unfortunately had to book a different place for our final night due to needing to be closer to the airport, according to the listing the travel time should have been approximately 45 mins but in reality it was closer to 1 HR 45 mins.
• Micaela Fernanda (10/5): Tranquilidad y muchas florecitas - La ubicación, aunque un poco difícil llegar , pero despacio y sin apuro llegamos bien . Lo mejor es llevarse todo lo necesario para los días que se esté en la casa. Si bien todo estaba perfecto fue una pena que el muelle estuviera roto. Entiendo que ha sido por la subida del río.
• Pidvisischi (5/5): - Das Haus und das Weiher. Dass wir nicht im Voraus darüber informiert wurden, dass wir eine halbe Stunde durch den Wald fahren mussten, und dass mein Auto dann eine Panne hatte und noch viele Kratzer am Auto.
• Maria Jose (10/5): Carretera mala - El sitio un paraíso, la casa bien equipada y cómoda,repetiría sin dudarlo Lo único que no me gustó fue la carretera para llegar a la casa,es una carretera sin asfaltar,muy mala, con piedras, socavones,y si llevas un coche bajo como el nuestro, pues lo pasas mal.

• Cristina (10/5): Repetiremos seguro - El lugar nos encantó, la casa, el embarcadero, las vistas, precioso atardecer.... Todo detalle, servicial, nos preguntó si necesitábamos algo, aunque nosotros ya llevábamos de todo porque sabíamos que íbamos a un sitio retirado de todo, eso también nos gustaba. A pesar de estar alejado tiene wifi. Hay algunos comentarios que hablan del camino para llegar hasta la casa. Hay que tener claro que es normal, en los campos hasta llegar a la finca, que sean caminos de tierra en los que hay que ir con cuidado. Tienen un kayak que puedes usar. Una zona preparada con arena y tumbonas. En fin, tenemos claro que repetiremos. Está claro que siempre se puede mejorar, pero para nosotros ha estado todo genial.
• Izzzzi (9/5): - Es un paraíso,la tranquilidad absoluta y paz. Las vistas impresionantes. Cosas a tener en cuenta. En la página dice que está adaptado a personas con movilidad reducida. No importó que no tuviera aire acondicionado aunque pone k si pk la temperatura fue muy buena En nuestro caso íbamos con una persona de movilidad reducida. Decía en la descripción que hay ducha y no existe ducha, sólo un baño con bañera. Tbm había leído lo de los dos escalones. Eso ya sabía que existían aunque no que fuesen tan altos. Costó trabajo subirla. Una rampita no vendría mal. El camino es una tortura y si tienes un coche bajo puedes dar. 11 km que según el coche puedes hacerlo entre 20 -30 minutos. A nosotros nos guió Sergio pero el otro coche iba por la noche y por el camino a veces falla la cobertura.
• Marcelo (10/5): Sitio para repetir! - El sitio es una pasada, alejado de todo y es ideal para pasar unos días en pareja o en familia tranquilos. Sergio es muy amable y atento nos recibió con una botella de vino y nos dejó usar su kayak para navegar por el rio. Discrepo con los comentarios que dicen que el acceso es tan complicado. Obviamente no es una autopista es una camino de montaña pero cualquier coche puede acceder perfectamente

• Emma (10/5): Hacienda de La Cruz offers a tranquil haven of peace and serenity - A truly magnificent place. It was breathtaking. Tranquillity at its best. We wanted somewhere to relax and was away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough that we could get to local amenities and a restaurant. The riverside location, secluded beach, kayak, river life, spacious house and patio area meant there was plenty for us to do, or not! We LOVED it and will be back again soon!
