Guest Reviews
- Sheila (9/5): Superb -
- Marc (5/5): Wrong choice to sleep. - The Silence of the spot room smelled, bed was bad and squeaked, mayras sagged, mold in the shower. shower water drains into the hallway and room. everything is very outdated and would never come back here. I paid 45 euros and that is way too much.
- Fox (5/5): Passable -
- Sheila (9/5): Superb - Super!!!
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Maree (7/5): Value for money / good sized rooms although poor road side appeal of hotel - Value for money - room quite large, bed comfortable. Parking for motorcycle near room.
Shower - hot water with good pressure No ride side appeal - but pleasantly surprise with room
Bathroom- poor floor drainage - water from shower wets most of bathroom floor, nowhere to hang shower rose or towels
- Andrew (1/5): Bad - Not a lot got blocked in carpark Not clean poor facilities
- Andy (6/5): strange staff - Value for money correcting a problem lack of restaurant variety
- Sarvjit (7/5): Good - Good value for a one night stay.
Everything in the room worked well Would have been good if they had a menu for the evening. This wasn't available, so I ate in the nearby town instead.
- Philip (3/5): Poor - Cheap short taxi to town We had rooms 6,7,8 all the keys open any doors,so valuables not safe ,more like a truck stop bedding was tired and worn
- Joanne (8/5): Very good - Location good Mostly good
- Antony (5/5): great location but basic and worn out - great location, friendly welcome, clean and warm room, powerful shower with plenty of hot water - nice option to eat a 3 course basic home cooking evening meal with wine for 15€ 2 stars is 1 star too high, overpriced at 45€ for a very basic room that is dated and tired with a worn out 80s fibreglass bathroom cubicle, should be 25€ for what is no better than any truckers stop
electrical sockets not easily located for modern life charging of phone, laptop etc.
as others have said the top sheet is single size and not big enough for a double bed
bed was very creaky
- Rocio (8/5): Very good -
- Simeon (7/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - everything you need - Very convenient location for an overnight stay while on a road trip. The bathroom was all new, lots of hot water, clean towels and fresh clean sheets, everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was able to have my doggy stay in the room with me.
- Guthrie (5/5): Passable -
- David (8/5): Very good - Good simple well cooked food
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Warm quiet and comfortable
- Harris (8/5): Would use again 👍 - Great pitstop en route to coast after The Pyrenees Leg of the road trip. Everything you need at a great price..... Happy to welcome dogs too 👍😊 Nothing
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (3/5): Depressing. - I paid at the venue and found later that the charge exceeded that quoted on Booking.com.
The toilet seat was not affixed properly, a panel on the cistern was broken, the shower tap came off in my hand and the whole place felt like a 1970’s time capsule.
- Delphine (7/5): Correct -
- Robert (7/5): Total value for money - The staff are really friendly and helpful Location a little out way
- Sara (10/5): Five stars stay - Very friendly staff amazing spot for a city break. Mariano, the host, was very helpful and answered all our questions. Very flexible. If we go back to Huesca we would definitely stay here again
- David (8/5): Very good - Large room. Comfortable bed. Good tasty excellent value menu del noche. Pleasant staff. Pet friendly no extra charge. Aircon not working.
- John (8/5): Very good - Food great menu del noche Very low bed and bath/WC in room and couldn't put shower up as no fixing!
- Albrecht (8/5): Les routiers would love it ! - We were looking for a place to stay overnight on our journey from Andalucia to Germany, and this Hostal was very convenient for that purpose, easy to find, easy to park your car, get some food even pretty late in the evening, quiet and very clean room with a modern bathroom and confortable bed, and a quick Spanish breakfast in the morning followed by short visit of Huesca. Communication was a bit difficult, I did not speak Spanish, the staff did not speak English.
- Peter (10/5): Ayerbe"s hidden gem - Behind an assuming front in a rather faded little town we found an excellent modern hotel converted by the owner from her father's farmhouse. Cleverly and tastefully designed suites with their own terrace. A bar and restaurant below and though the restaurant was closed when we arrived the very welcoming host couple served up an excellent 3-course meal. Breakfast was equally good. English spoken. Our bicycles were safely locked
away .
Well worth a detour. I can't think of anything. It was an unexpected treat
- Dariusz (1/5): not recommended and a rip-off - the bed was comfy and clean and the room spacious the place is falling apart, it’s not in Huesca but 30 min walk town. no public transportation or sidewalk. not safe and not pleasant if you do not have a car. basically this place should not be advertised as in Huesca and it’s only fit for transit / car owners. internet connection weak or none in the room. Noisy- next to a busy road. a complete disaster for such a price. the carpet has not seen a hover for a long time
- Richard (7/5): Time warp. - Restaurant food was simple but excellent. The whole place was straight out of the 1970's and very tired.
- Kathi (7/5): Good - Clean basic accomodation, not near enough to the town to walk though. REstaurant was not open (although we did not require it) Seemed a bit disorganised about our booking but it was sorted quickly.
Nice en suite shower with towels and even sachets of shower gel. No kettle, although reflected in the price
