The home is beautifully decorated, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful little details. We had our dog with us, and he had plenty of space to run around and play. It’s a wonderful place for a family vacation. Bellingen town is just a 15-minute drive away and is a lovely spot to explore and shop. We loved everything about our stay.

• James (7/5): - It was very peaceful, plenty of room, Unfortunately, the Air Conditioner was not working at all as the weather was very hot that made the afternoons very uncomfortable. The TV did stopped working. It would have helped if there was some simple instruction to overcome this problem,
• christa (10/5): Freida isn't an accomodation, it's an unique experience. - We stayed at Farmhouse Freida for two nights while exploring Dorrigo National Park, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. We hiked the Wonga Walk to Crystal Falls and swam in the crystal-clear Never Never River at the so-called “Christian holes” — perfect after a long day in the rainforest. The farmhouse itself is a unique experience. Peaceful, quiet, spacious… everything you need is there, and more. We especially loved the amazing CD collection — somehow every album was a hit with our group. The place really feels like a home, not just accommodation. You instantly relax the moment you step inside. The garden is beautiful, full of plants, trees and flowers — a little paradise for bees, insects and birds. We even met the eastern whipbird for the first time (in Dutch: “zwartkopzwiepfluiter”). What an unforgettable call! Highly recommended if you’re looking for nature, comfort, and total peace. Thank you Liz for your hospitality!

• Deirdre (10/5): Fabulous to be out of ''town'', big city living, and Bello is really special. - The Surrounding of Freida's Cottage are just superb. Wonderful bushland, a garden full of surprises, the creek up the road in two minutes. Clear and cold, refreshing swimming.

Coffee machine & fixings much appreciated. Amazing selection of kitchen equipment & dishes. Great boardgames, some toys & even outdoor games. Comfy beds with plenty of pillows & blankets
• Rob (9/5): Looking for an isolated relaxing getaway, this is a good one! - This was an excellent place for our weekend, a group of 6. Farmhouse has a very homely, old world feel, rooms are very large, fantastic kitchen, lovely fireplace, nice verandah right around, fruit trees, great place to chill out. Has one bathroom and two separate toilets, lots of extras and touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. Not too far into Bellingen and up to Dorrigo which have plenty of attractions and variety of shops. Hostess Liz was also great to deal with, thanks.

Also considering the age of the house everything worked well, cupboards and doors closed easily and no creeping floors

• Jeanie (9/5): We has a relaxing weekend with everything we needed right at the house. - The privacy and environment were amazing - the home is older but very comfortable with a lot of charm - the beds were really comfy and the little touches like flowers and herbs and spices to use made it feel very much like home. A door needed some attention and a couple of bulbs were out, but minor compared to what worked.
