There are, however, a few points we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay: Strictly no smoking, no parties, no pets. Dispose of rubbish appropriately. Keep the property clean and tidy. Washing up before check-out is kindly required, while stripping the beds would be appreciated but is by no means expected. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbors in the building. Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving. Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs. To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification. Due to the ongoing energy crisis, the following rules apply to all properties in Italy: Guests are obliged by Italian law to follow the rules regarding rubbish collection and recycling. The schedule is different for each city, and guests can find written instructions on the property. Guests are obliged by Italian law to provide identification and pay the city tax before check-in. JOIVY will not provide access if the online check-in form is not completed or the city tax is not paid. The condominium (central) heating will work on a schedule, as imposed by Italian law, and heating cannot be adjusted. The schedule will operate as follows: 6 AM to 9 AM, 12 PM to 2 PM, and 8 PM to 11 PM. The highest temperature allowed by Italian law for the residential sector is 19 degrees Celsius for all thermostats, both central and autonomous heating. Please do not use more than one appliance at once. Otherwise, you may experience power outages. If this happens, guests will need to reset the fuze box. Please do not use more than one appliance at once. Please note that if the type of check-in of the property you have booked is "Greeter", there will be extra Late Check-in Fees (note that late check-in has surcharges, payable via card/payment link before your arrival:) for check-in after 7 pm.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Kelly (3/5): Would not recommend due to the cellar bedroom being musty and no ventilation. Host not welcoming. - The location is excellent. The living area is good for groups/families. It was quiet despite being on a very busy street. The bedroom downstairs is in a cellar with no ventilation so is extremely musty and difficult to use. I’m not sure you should really sleep in the conditions. It looks nice but it’s not a good space for sleeping. We asked the hosts prior to our stay about a previously reported mould issue (see other reviews) and the noted lack of ventilation/heat in the apartment overall. They were not helpful. There doesn’t appear to be any mould however. There are no fans in the property. We purchased fans as this would not have been comfortable without them and I do not see how you could stay in the cellar without any air flow. The cellar room also has no door so no privacy. The showers in the apartment are waist high hand held so difficult to use. The living space has no air flow either so overall the apartment was very hot. Also despite another previous review noting it, there was no corkscrew. It’s a small detail that is easily fixed by the host? The host was not helpful nor intended to provide fans for our stay or even really interested in making us feel welcome. Other bedrooms were ok but with the windows open the mosquitos were quite uncomfortable. Overall for the price we paid I wouldn’t recommend it.
Sanaria (1/5): Most horrible reservation i have ever made. We couldnt stay at the apartment. We had to grap bags and go look for a hote - I am writing to formally request a refund for my rent payment due to the unacceptable living conditions in my apartment. The issues outlined below have rendered the apartment uninhabitable and pose significant health risks. Despite attempts to address these concerns to the manager, the conditions have not been resolved, necessitating this request for a refund. We left the apartment and went and booked a hotel at highest price We had Lack of Air Conditioning: no AC in the apartment we were about to die from heat!! I called neighbors to help but they figured out we dont have AC. - The apartment lacks a functional air conditioning system, resulting in uncomfortably high temperatures during warmer months. Most importantly the apartment was full of mold, we couldn't go to the basement because of the smell oh my god, my breath was very heavy the minute i took one step. There significant mold growth throughout the apartment, including on the walls, ceilings, bathroom, and kitchen areas. The mold problem is severe and pervasive, contributing to a musty odor and posing serious health risks, including respiratory issues and allergic reactions. Despite notifying management, but we didnt see any solution. We had to leave the apartment on same night. I left keys in the box. This is our next day in hotel crostopher colombus, thank god they have availability for me and my family. But can you imagine how much we paid? Requested Action: - I request a full refund of the 4 days i paid due to the uninhabitable conditions. The conditions in the apartment are unacceptable and do not meet basic living standards. I urge you to process this refund promptly to rectify the situation. Failure to address these issues may compel me to seek further legal remedies to protect my rights as a tenant. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. Everything, as i mentioned, the apartment was moldy, we had a child with us, he reached to a point couldnt breath. No AC. We called for helo, the guy told us he cant come because it was 8 pm
Zeinab (8/5): Good. - Clean and spacious. Close to restaurants and bars. The accommodation is spacious and had an Italian vibe to it, close to restaurant, bars and Milan CBD but noticeable down side was the Damp musty smell in the apartment, this was difficult to get rid off as we couldn’t open windows due to mosquitoes.
Lorraine (9/5): Had a great time and it was a welcome retreat to come back to after a long days walking the city in the heat, cool and c - Spacious flat with plenty of room for us all, comfy lounge, beautiful bathrooms. Flat was easy to find and in a good spot with bars, restaurants and shops all around. The lower bedroom was a little damp I think the bed needs an air out, I understand it’s a cellar so not much air flows through the room, but was still lovely. There was no corkscrew so we had to ask the bar outside to open wine bottle.

Dónal (10/5): A fabulous apartment for a family or small group of friends in a fantastic part of Milan - The apartment was super spacious with a large living and dining area with all the cooking equipment, crockery and wine glasses etc to enjoy a proper meal. The big sofa and tv were great for a taking a moment to relax, and the three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms made it a very comfortable stay for three friends. The location was fantastic - on Via Lecco with lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep but the apartment is in the courtyard so there's no noise from the street. Would definitely recommend for a visit to Milan. I would have appreciated a slightly later check out than 10 am but that's my only criticism - it was really a very, very comfortable place to stay.
