• Ross (10/5): Super prime location with all the amenities. Nice host. - Location was super prime and so were the go to spots close to the property. Great restaurants and local activities.

The property cleaning lady lived just under the property and did laundry for a fee (no washer or drier). The property photos showed a coffeemaker and tea and coffee in the kitchen - nothing there. No electric water kettle for boiling water and there were almost no utensils to cook with.

• Stacy (10/5): One of the best rentals we've booked on our stay in Los Angeles - Property is located in a nice area. Host was very nice and helpful. He responded quickly to our questions. All of the amenities were provided and were as promised in the listing. There were enough cooking utensils, pots and pans. The price was reasonable for a night that we stayed over. The space was very clean and well taken care of. All of the must see and do activities were close by drive and some were walking distance which was awesome. Overall, it was worth it.

• Ursula (10/5): To sum it all up, it is all around a great stay for anyone visiting LA solo or with family. - The location was perfect for our family of 4. The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful and safe. We enjoyed our lunch at a cute little met her at a bar restaurant. It is a very close less than 10 minutes walk which was lovely. We also got to see La Brea tar pits which is less than 5 minutes by car. To sum it all, it is all around a great stay for anyone visiting solo or with family.

He makes sure that you feel satisfied. A top notch service is what you expect when you want to be taken care of. So many grocery options nearby like target, sprouts and lassens. As other people have mentioned, it is accessible and very close to all the fun in LA.
• Oscar (3/5): - Area was very safe and centrally located for LA , i am a local. So perfect location Rooms werent properly cleaned. The room with 2 beds had TONS of lil bugs starting from the restroom to the sleeping area. The room with 1 bed was very dusty , had an eyelash stuck to the wall and previous food items on head board. Bery thick layer of dust under the bed. Kitchen had no working microwave or oven. Made them aware and never came to fix either or after sayong they would send someone TV had NO SIGNAL kept trying tk connect to wifi or even local channels and nothing. Wifi was hit and miss very poor signal No parking, wasnt informed until arrival that parking is 5$ per day to park within front street if not you have to park 1 block away.
• Jashandeep (10/5): By far the best accomodation in Los Angeles literally close to everything. 10/10. - Prominent location in the LA. Very close to all the good places like LACMA Museum, Petersen Automotive Museum. Great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Walk of fame was a short drive and so was West Hollwood, Korea Town and Beverly Hills to name a few. Santa Monica beach is just about 15 minutes drive. All that you want in your stay. Nice host and completely keyless entry. I'd book it again when I visit Los Angeles next time.

• Lucky (10/5): Great Stay in Hollywood! - Prime central location in the city. Host was very nice and accommodating. Loved watching Netflix on the TV at night. Wifi all throughout the place, didn't have any issues. Rodeo Drive is only 10 minutes from this place. Loved our party at the local staple Met Her At A Bar restaurant. Got a nice shot of Hollywood Sign from this location.
• colin (8/5): In spite of problems it was OK - Location. Smelt of cigarette smoke. Lacking utensils ( which was corrected) . Previous guests broke in at 5am as owner had not changed key codes.
• Desirea (1/5): The owner robbed me for my money. He didn't let me check in. - Nothing. The owner didn't let me stay there I didn't get to stay. I got robbed.
• Terry (1/5): Horrendous experience - Worst experience of my life, communication is poor, no instructions for check in were given until I sent messages to the host, then no parking instructions were given at all, I parked in the driveway and the next morning I’m blocked in , had to ring the doorbell for someone to move the car, but he didn’t tell me to not park there after he moved the car. Then at 12:34am midnight I was told to not to park in the driveway and i was already sleeping at that time so didn’t check the message. I was checking out in the morning and 3 cars blocked me in the driveway. I ring the doorbell at 9am and the guy comes out and says he doesn’t have the keys and told us to wait to 11 o clock, I said we have plans for the day and must check out. He said he doesn’t care because his family works late and is sleeping and can only help us at 11. Then I was very mad and went for breakfast, then at 930 I get a message saying they moving the cars, I already went to eat, I saw the message after getting wifi at 10 and rushed back to the place, and waited another 15 mins after arriving before they actually move the cars. I also notice outside on the street it’s no public parking allowed, we need a parking permit , no one gave us a permit or gave parking instructions, absolutely terrible experience. I wouldn’t come here even if it was free.

All the must go see places were close and some were within walking distance. All the amenities were great as described. Comfy beds and host was super accommodating to our needs. I’m glad that I booked this beautiful place for our trip.

Our stay at Los Angeles Retreat was an unforgettable experience; the rooms were spacious and clean. The area around has so many popular restaurants and LACMA museum and Academy Museum of Motion Pictures are literally so close. All of the city is easily accessible as this place is centrally located. Hollywood Walk of Fame, downtown LA and the trendy Santa Monica beach are all minutes away. The icon of Los Angeles Urban Light is very close as well. Definitely, one of the best experiences for my visit to Los Angeles. Would love to stay on my next vacation to the city. Highly recommend.
• Hisham (3/5): Cleanliness is essential in such accommodation. I don't recommend people go there. - It was easy to reach the facility by calling the owner and obtaining the passkey for the door. I was disappointed that the room wasn't ready. It was typically cleaned after 10 pm, but it was not clean at all. I found a used condom under the bed, a lot of dirt under the dining table, and the bathroom was full of hair. Additionally, there were no kitchen utensils, and each person was provided with only one towel.

• Adeyinka (3/5): My stay was disappointing due to poor communication, cleanliness issues, and essential amenities. - I liked the location due to the proximity to the places we intended to visit. I liked that the second room had 2 beds in it. The host did not remember we were checking in on check in date. I had reached out via message for early check-in and it was declined, so I was surprised when the unit was not ready till 10pm. The unit was not properly clean, there was still toothpaste splatter on the faucets. Thanks that they left disinfectant wipes in the rooms so that cane in handy to do some surface cleaning. Night stand, dinning table, coffee table, vanity all had to be cleaned and the disinfecting wipes were dark for every surface. The ironing board fabric was dirty with stains on it. I appreciated the use of white towels but it had stains on it, so did the white bedsheets. The unit needed to be aired out and the windows blind (shutter style) was very dusty, also the window seals were very dirty. Underneath the beds were very dusty, the host really need to get better cleaners. The kitchen did not have a sink to wash cups or dishes so we had to use the washroom. There were pots and utensils in the cupboards but no stove, burner or hot plate to cook with. There was no instruction inside the unit to get wifi access, so we had to wait till the next day to call the host to get wifi connection info. For some unknown reason the fire alarm in one of the bedroom was wrapped up, that gave me some safety concerns. There was no dedicated parking for guest and had to wait for other to back out of the driveway before we could get out. Street parking requires a permit a certain hours, which the host promised to get us a street parking permit but it never showed till we checked out. The picture in the listing was different from what we checked into, maybe the pictures are from a different unit in the building.
• Michael (1/5): Unsanitary and kitchen less ( no sink, no stove, no broom) - The beds were comfortable As advertised, it shows a full kitchen in the pictures. However upon arrival there is no stove nor is there a sink to wash any cups, glasses or cutlery. It must be washed in the bathroom. Not even a broom was in the apartment and when asked for a broom it wasn't provided. I will not rebook as I already chose a condo for January 2025
• Hana (10/5): Amazing experience - It’s a very decent and elegant apartment , we loved our stay, there services and all the necessary kits inside the rooms, the cleanliness, perfection and ambience is amazing there service was top notch never seen before in any apartments in my stay, host was super friendly caring and it was on point i would definitely recommend this apartment . Trust me its 1000/100 i would give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• Kit (5/5): A spacious apartment, but needs a thorough cleaning and sanitizing. - The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The lack of cleanliness was a real problem. The coffee pot had old grounds in it with mold growing out the top. The sink garbage disposal was so full of food that the water would not drain. There was a powerful musty smell in the apartment, which I figured out was coming from the black mold in all of the window frames. I had to go to the store and buy bleach to clean all the window frames just to make it tolerable to be in the rooms. The main bathroom toilet had dried urine around the base. I think the cleaning fee should be refunded to me for all the work cleaning I had to do in the apartment.
• Peter (4/5): Disappointed for the price. Expected more. - Good location For the price, I expected more. We only got 1 towel per person. No face towel, wash cloth or any towels in the kitchen. There were no extra blankets for if we got cold. There was no soap or shampoo. Everything was vey limited. Didn't even have any paper towels in the kitchen.

• Sheila (9/5): We all enjoyed our stay at this place - The location was PERFECT for our stay. Neighborhood is very safe. We walked to the brewery close by, grocery store, liquor store all within a mile. The following day we walked to the La Brea Tar Pits and got a Groupon for the Big Bus tour of the city which takes you to all the sites. We did not have any hand towels for the bathrooms but they were delivered right away. Great communication with owner and fast replies. Could maybe use a few more kitchen utensils in the kitchen but we worked with what we had. We had rented the downstairs apartment and the person upstairs walked around a lot with really loud shoes late at night. We still slept ok. Would be nice to have little bars of soap and bottles of shampoo etc but we had our own so wasn't a problem.

He promised to refund my $ as I really needed a kitchen but now is refusing! The place was dirty and NOT as displayed at all! I did NOT stay at the place as I needed a kitchen and it was dirty! • Kovac (5/5): Passable - The location was great, the price was a good value. No floor towel to stand on after shower. Slow to answer my concerns.
• Randi (7/5): Pleasant, quiet and served our purpose well. - It was quiet, comfortable and very spacious. Would consider staying again. Parking was challenging, lack of cookware and some minor bathroom accessories (toilet paper holder).
• Adi (10/5): Very good for families, a lot of space - A great apartment, 2 large bedrooms with 2 great showers with hot water. The kitchen is very good too with all the accessories. Great location, very quiet and safe neighbourhood. The owner was very nice and took care for all our needs with quick communication

It´s not close to any hotspot, very few cluttery, awful smell, undisclosed charge for parking on the street, bad communication on the arrival (I had to call to get the access codes, we never got it beforehand on booking, had to call again to get the wifi codes, if I would have been a foreigner tourist without a phone or with low command of english, things could have been really difficult), few towels.
