Guest Reviews
- Coco Korte (4/5): Not great experience - The room is a good size, the location was good The bathroom is very small no towel racks, and the door can't close. No hot water for two days. The body wash bottle was empty and asked multiple times but never filled. The window screens are dirty, the decks are dirty. Parking was on the street and the car needed to be moved by 8 am.
- John (6/5): Poor communication by owner made for a possible disasterous experience. The unit is nice, clean, in a lovely part of Sy - Central location with pleasant surrounds 1. No communication from host. We arrived to find a multi complex block of units with no idea which was the venue. After knocking on many doors we found someone who thought there was a unit being used as a b and b. We knocked on that unit and found someone who was apparently a student and let us in. The b and b was on the third floor behind a locked door. The student there showed us where a key was kept locked and fortunately managed to get access to the key.
2. No hot water for the whole unit. Someone arrived at 10 pm on the second night to check the hot water system. We had tepid water for the next two showers.
3. No plug for the basin in the bathroom
4. Refrigerator needs defrosting.

- Kate (9/5): -
- Rowan (8/5): - Lovely nature area outside the window, sleeping up at the level of trees. It wasn't clear from the listing that this is shared accomodation.

- Wilhelm (7/5): Good place to stay. Very convenient and close to the city center. Only a few minor inconveniences. - Great location, just outside the city center, which makes it easy to get around by bus. Farmer’s market close by
The kitchen was fully equipped, even though we weren’t able to easily distinguish between communal utilities and those owned by other residents
The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious for the price.
The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The shower was roomy and functional.
The phone number provided picked up when we called it. Granted this was once at 8 am.
The other residents were friendly and helpful with most questions we had. The communication was a bit odd. To begin with, we received a message on the day of arrival detailing our check in and such. It also “summed up” the conditions, including a condition that you had to be 23 or older to stay there. This was not a condition that we could find anywhere on the page, and as we were younger than 23 we called the provided phone number, and the issue was quickly resolved. This was not a big deal just a bit of an odd beginning to the stay.
We felt like we were intruding on somebody else’s home. For starters we weren’t really sure which of the other people in the house were working for the rental company, and who were also just renting a room for a short stay.
The other people living in the house had guests over on a Tuesday night until midnight. They were not quiet and actually pretty noisy, which made it hard to sleep. This was made worse by the fact that the room is not separated from the rest of the house by a solid wall but rather by a staircase which has been mostly covered in sheets of either plastic or some other cover, making for an uninterrupted sound transmission from the room to the rest of the house and vice versa. To clarify: you cannot look into the room from outside, only the sound is problematic here.
The balcony had been neglected when cleaning as the railing was covered in spider webs, with spiders visibly crawling around in them.
I am by no means trying to slander this place, as the stay was pleasant enough, but I wanted to provide the full picture of our stay for the sake of clarity for future prospective residents.
- Razia (7/5): - The room is great with its private bathroom and toilet.
It has a sitting area outside. The talking has to be so slow as everyone can hear you.
It gets uncomfortable to talk even a little louder as you'll be in fear of disturbing the people staying in the other rooms.
- Nobuko (8/5): Very clean and nice setting for 1DK apartment. - Accidentally changed 2nd property due to plumbing issues for 1st one.
Cost of property should higher than 1st one but Offered by nil extra cost. Much nicer and beater location. Easy access to go shopping, restaurants and transport.
- Albin (9/5): - The room is very neat and clean, a very good place to stay at. Has a balcony that's very spacious too.
- Ben (1/5): Just Don't - No privacy, no walls seperating from others living in house, no ability to secure belongings from others, no key to screen door so just get locked out by the actual people who live there, on site parking problematic as no access to garage & only permit parking on street.
Not what place is advertised as......not suitable for tourists at all
- Noni K (10/5): Its a fantastic location near to Annandale - the location nothing
