• Stephanie (8/5): - Great location, yet super quiet, minor issue was dealt with very quickly by staff, so excellent communication Bed was not the most comfy and very creaky. There is no door on the bedroom, so it is not great if one of you wants to stay up and the other wants to go to bed as it is too noisy. Bedroom is very small

Easy to contact management Tired furnishings eg faded plastic plants etc on terrace, uncomfortable seating, glaring lighting. Kitchen equipment extremely basic, two plates, two forks, two mugs etc. No electric kettle or coffee maker. The whole place gave the impression of not being much cared for, a tiny bit depressing actually. Could be much better with a bit of work

• Margaret (8/5): Lovely 5 days in Rome - Wonderful location for walking everywhere in Rome. Quiet apartment overlooking courtyard. Small balcony was lovely for coffee. Good kitchen facilities. Bed very comfortable. Shower enclosure and bit tired but still OK. Could do with more hangars for clothes, particularly for longer stays.

• Maria (10/5): Cute historic charm with excellent location - We loved our stay at Collection Spanish Steps Apartments. It was clean, private, and quiet. The apartment is historic with beautiful beams and windows that open into a balcony. We loved opening our bedroom window in the morning to hear the swallows. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you might need to prepare a meal or enjoy local takeout. The location is perfect. You are close to shopping, amazing restaurants and all the major tourist must sees. It is at walkable distance to all historic sites and even Vatican City. Our favorite part was Andreas’ hospitality. Andreas was welcoming and easily accessible. He was easy to reach, if we needed him at a moment’s notice. We hope to come back one day! We loved everything.

• David (3/5): Not worth the money at all - Location was good Where do I start Kitchen isn’t functional no port plugs so had to put kettle and toaster on floor adjacent Bathroom had no space to put any thing u needed in there The balcony has absolutely no view of the city as in the description and u look at the courtyard with a wall and a restaurant below throwing out rubbish and doing dishes

Host was great - very responsive when the hot water system broke down, was replaced the same day. Laneway outside the door was a bit smelly at times.

Lots of cafe and restaurants plus attentive owners who checked everything was OK once we arrived. Good safe area. The instructions to get our key was superb and the apartment security was excellent.

• Jason (10/5): Great Location and Wonderful A/C as well as responsive host! - The host, Andreas, was very responsive to all questions and accommodating with a few requests above and beyond what would normally be expected. The apartment is on the second floor in what seemed to be a relatively quiet building in an otherwise busy location, close to shops, restaurants, and within a short ~5 min walk to Spanish Steps. A great location to start your exploration of Rome and an even better location to return to for a much needed rest (it was quite warm in Rome while we were there (~38C / 101F)) and the A/C in the bedroom kept it cool and comfortable. Everything we used worked as expected and would stay here again. Not a criticism of the apartment but just a few additional details / tips. 1) The unit is in a historic area and streets in front could be challenging if you needed to move a suitcase very far. We arranged transportation from the airport and to the train station, so this was not an issue. 2) There are a couple small steps to enter the apartment building as well as two floors of stairs to climb to get to the unit, there is a small lift that was very helpful for luggage but a tight fit; definitely better than not having a lift and it serves its purpose. 3) If you need to get a taxi / uber, we had better success walking the couple blocks to Piazza del Popolo and never had to wait more than 5-10 mins.

We even found a place to store our luggage on the last day free of charge. A problem that was fixed the next day without unnecessary questions and all with a smile. There is no convenient closet to put the clothes during the stay in the apartment. And the internet does not work continuously.
• William (9/5): Superb - Andreas is an excellent host who was very communicative, and we completely enjoyed our stay in his apartment. It would be difficult to ask for a better location as we were at most a half hour walk from some of the major sites and just a few blocks from others. The apartment is small but has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. There is also an elevator which was convenient. The terrace was a very big plus for us which we greatly enjoyed. The one caveat is the shower would probably be too small for a large person.
