I told her my flight back home in Zambia was on 28th feb. 2025 at 09:50 hours, hence forth needed to be at airport at 7:30 hours, of which she would give me money 50US dollars back. but to no avail. Property owner by the name Rose, did not even pass through the apartment during my stay. i was forced to ask security at the gate, who also respond call the owner of the property, but number i was given by staff 0847847118 was not reachable, therefore no communication with anyone. i ended up buying my own electricity R32,from Nelson mandala square , which is also not refunded. Am at pains, because the apartment has not sent back to me my 50 US dollars, given as deposit. if you can help me get back this money. Lastly, it is not right for the property to keep clients/guest without information, no staff presence there, no daily cleaning of rooms what sort of Hospitality is this. no standard at all. if this property was to improve and not inconvenience other clients. let management there start cleaning rooms, attend to small problems like bulbs finished, which i had not bulb for 6 nights in bath room, improve communication, no emergency numbers there. The value of the money was not to the standards, and imagine we called this lady that we wanted the keys to check in, and this lady kept us waiting for her for hours outside the gate, not picking up the calls. The bed was comfortable but head board is damaged and bed sheets are old and worn out... This property need a total overhaul and gutting out. Appartment was dirty, there was a foul smell through out the Appartment. Shower hose was also broken, which sprayed water all over the bathroom. No shower curtain to contain water in the bath when the shower is on. There were no light in the bathroom a portable torch had to be used. There were roaches in the kitchen. Kitchen appliances were old and rusting. No heating property was cold. This property has so much potential, it seems as thou it has been neglected. I believe the standards of the host/owner is very basic and they have never been to a 3star hotel. Or the Appartment is not advertised or appropriate for people who are used to a bit of class. This is not acceptable please sort it out. My review could have been worst but I feel u do not know any better. I hope the owner/host see this a construction review and not feel it is an attack.

There was a damp mould smell and the odour of damp paint. Mould around the bathroom seals, no shower curtain so shower water splashed on bathroom floor. The name is Village Blues and not 5 minutes. This was misleading for my taxi. No bedside lamps and kitchen cupboards looked damaged and in need of repair. No lift.

- Kim (1/5): Poor and very disappointing - Absolutely nothing. The apartment was not to standard. It had a bad fowl chemical smell. I had to ask for my room to be changed to get into another apartment that was just as bad. The bathroom was a mess totally unacceptable to even think this could be a holiday get away. The apartment had flies and insects flying all over. The bed linen was old and had a bad smell. I was completely disappointed and cut my stay and left after just one night. Poor and unaccommodating services by the hostess.

The security and the host were both unfriendly the security told me to call the place where u made the booking before he could let me in and the host didn't answer her phone for a while. The water was cold both at night and in the morning I had to use the water from the kettle for me to bath in the morning.

Bedding and towels were old, pillows uncomfortable and the space was not clean. There was a stale cigarette smell in the flat. The pictures on the website did not match the place I stayed in.
