• Richard (10/5): - Exceptional property. Superb location and the attention to detail by the hosts was second to none from the night light in the bathroom to find your way in unfamiliar environs to the basket of snacks. Outstanding and will be back!

Communication was exceptional, with very clear directions, check-in instructions, and thoughtful information provided throughout. The hosts created such a warm home-away-from-home atmosphere with lovely personal touches and complimentary gifts that made the stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, the facilities and amenities were fantastic, and the view from the deck was absolutely amazing. We would absolutely love to return. Would have felt a bit more secure if there was a passcode on the gate getting into the property so that no one could get into the deck, not that we had any issues and the town itself was filled with lovely people too- but just to feel that bit more secure.

Loved the sea view and close proximity to cafes. Would be great to be able to open doors onto front deck or some windows to get fresh air and sea breeze.

• Harald (9/5): Kleines Ferienhaus in Top-Lage mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. - Nettes Ferienhaus in Beachfront mit Garagenplatz. Bei schönem Wetter ein Traum. Trotz öffentlichem Parkplatz vor der Tür nachts absolut ruhig. Gute Restaurants und Supermarkt fast nebenan. Traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge. Die Terassentür lässt sich nicht mehr öffnen. Nach einem Sandsturm wissen wir auch warum... Die Panoramascheiben waren schon vorher milchig und anschließend fast undurchsichtig. Mit Küchenpapier, Wasser und etwas Essig haben wir die schöne Aussicht wiederhergestellt. Den Türcode sollte man sich gut merken, sonst ist man nach einem kurzen Ausflug auf den Balkon ausgesperrt.

Nous avons été accueillis de manière très sympathique par Silvana, que nous remercions particulièrement. L'appartement était équipé de manière incroyable, tout était prévu pour que vous vous sentiez comme à la maison. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet appartement. Rien à redire, tout était parfait.

• Kevin (10/5): Superb vibrant location - Fabulous location, walk across the carport straight onto the beach ⛱️ 2min walk to the Vibrant hub of Henley Beach & many restaurant & cafe options to choose from. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was our highlight each evening whilst enjoying the local food & relaxing with a drink in hand. The owners are very thoughtful, considerate and generous and provide so many extras such as plenty of different milk options with tea & coffee including a Nespresso coffee pad machine & milk frother ☕️ popcorn, chocolates & even a bottle of vino! There are beach towels, sunscreen & mosquito spray along with a well equipped kitchen & they even provide a secure car space. The bed & pillows are super comfortable & bedroom nice & quiet. We can highly recommend this cosy one bedroom beach pad 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Nothing, everything was superb!

• Scott (10/5): This place is a rare hidden gem, would love to stay there again. Absolutely LOVED everything about it. Highly recommend - LOVED, LOVED, LOVED everything about Rawsons Shack. It was everything and more than I expected. It was right near Henley Square cafes, restaurants and shops and right across from the beach so very convenient. Surprisingly very peaceful location, just the sound of the ocean. Loved looking out at the beautiful view of the beach everyday. Sat out on the deck in the sunshine and practised some mindfulness breathing, just bliss. The bed was very warm and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The facilities were exceptional and instructions provided for everything were thorough and well placed around the property. The shack was very clean and well maintained. The hosts have thought of everything so lots of things available such as umbrellas, band aids, beach seat and plenty of beach towels. Kitchen included a good amount of plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. Pantry had all the cooking essentials you’d need. Silvana, the host even left a little gift basket of goodies for me to enjoy. TV Streaming services were available and working so got to enjoy watching movies at night. Silvana went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed and responded immediately to my questions. The guest book has nothing but glowing reports from previous guests. This place is a hidden gem, will stay there again next time I’m in Adelaide. Highly recommend Rawsons Shack. Absolutely value for money and more. Loved everything, could not fault this property at all.

• grfx-girl (10/5): It's all about the views, and that luxury bed! - This place is fabulous - from the luxury bedding to the ocean views, to the kitchen with all the quality glasses and dinnerware, comfortable couch and apps on the TV - very easy to stay here. Location perfect for beach walks, and CIBO espresso just a few doors down is great. Generous amount of coffee pods, plenty of towels - they have thought of everything - there is nothing you could need to ask for! Real holiday vibe. Please be aware that the double doors out to the balcony are permanently sealed shut and not able to be opened. In the photo on the listing, they are wide open - so I was a little disappointed.

Bed was huge and comfortable. Huge TV for netflix. Plenty of treats left by our hosts and milk for tea and coffee. Thank you. Nothing, everything was easy.

• Anthony (10/5): One of my most enjoyable stays ever - An outstanding stay, full of warmth, charm, and comfort. Spacious and well suited to a couple. A comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen facilities, and a brilliant beach view from either the living space, or balcony. Secure off street parking with easy access to the unit via a short walkway. The location is just a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, shops, and a well stocked supermarket. It is also a 10 minute stroll from the Henley Hotel. Public transport is also close, so those without a car can still get around easily. The hosts went over, and above to make our stay enjoyable.

Very clean with an eye for detail. A nice area, with restaurants nearby and close to good public transport. Oh, and of course a great view overlooking the beach. The internet connection only seemed to work in the bedroom; which was very annoying as it was unusable in the lounge or on the deck. I think that the sheets were synthetic material, which irritates my skin; I would have expected pure cotton in such a nice property. The bathroom was a bit small, and the sink was a small corner unit with a cupboard above it, which made it difficult to use.

The dwelling was perfect for our Valentines weekend getaway in Adelaide. Silvana had thought of everything and there was nothing we wanted for. The location was perfectly situated within walking distance to everything. The weather was wonderful and the daily swimming & sunsets were divine. There was nothing we could think of that needed improvement.

All the little things were thought of and made a magnificent difference I.e. iron, hair dryer, umbrella, beach tent, sunscreen, scissors - absolutely nothing was missing. Lovely welcoming treats with a personalised note. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Loved the access to tv streaming services and the inclusion of tea, coffee, milk etc. Lack of privacy blinds in the living room, however it’s likely others would find it difficult to see in due to the balcony.

Walk short distance to great food and dining options (beakfast, lunch and dinner). Public transport right there as was the store and bottle shop. The accommodation had everything you would need plus lots of helpful notes with tips around the place. Wash/dryer combo was great. Would definitely stay again. Loved everything. Would of maybe liked a few more bath towels.
