Obiekt jest na wyspie więc przygotuj się na taxi i łódkę. Właściciel organizuje transport i cię odbiera na miejscu. Bardzo egzotycznie.

- Elodie (10/5): Peaceful stay on the Nile - We had a beautiful stay at Asilah guesthouse on the island. The rooms were simple but comfortable and the daily breakfast was great. The island is very quiet and peaceful, and walking around, you get a glimpse of Nubian village life. The boat ride to the island and around was so magical and peaceful, and it was lovely to get a feel for the Nile energy. The owner, Kareem, is such a friendly and helpful guy. He went out of his way to assist us with boat and taxi transport around the island and into Aswan and to see the temple of Philae. We joined Kareem on a trip to Aswan and ate lunch together, and had some great conversations. The room had a very powerful fan but no AC- We knew that before booking. The days were super hot- like 39 degrees- even in October, so it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night with no AC. But if you're comfortable without AC and fan only, then you'll be fine. Also, there were a lot of mosquitoes outside at night, so if you get bitten, then bring some repellent with you.

- Simanta (1/5): Bad - I didn't stay in the guest house. It is not meant for use in summer. Has no AC, no food. I and my wife checked out in an hour and moved to another hotel in Aswan. A very unpleasant experience. Paid them $20 to account for transport by boat and by tuk tuk

- Victoria (10/5): Traditional Nubian style guesthouse, simple & basic, with stunning views & friendly hospitable staff - Simple and Basic Nubian style guest house. Clean and comfortable. Kato in Nubian language means guest house - Karim, the co -owner has built this place up himself, converted from a family home of his Nubian partner. Karim was very accommodating, helped liaise with Egyptian airport authorities over my lost luggage! - quite a headache for him ahh! He catered to my every need, helped me find the items I was looking for in Aswan market, and guided me to the best fried fish I tasted in Egypt! The location is beautiful. Heissa Island is a very special place - the tranquility and beauty of the Nile, and other worldly atmosphere, coupled with the stunning views from the guesthouse provide much needed time out of the hustle and bustle, rest and relaxation. In the centre of Asilah Kato is also a stone courtyard, with beautiful embroidered upholstery to sit upon, and with fire pit in the centre, where - undisturbed by light pollution - the star scape is incredible at night. Asilah Kato is short boat ride away from both the original site of Isis's temple and the relocated temple at Philae. Karim can organise travel by boat for you to any local locations.
