Guest Reviews
- Carol (8/5): Great location stay was great - The property was excellent but could do with some instructions for the oven and TV. We couldn’t work out the oven.
Also there could be some dishwasher pellets supplied.
- Anna (7/5): The accommodation met our expectations in most ways the location was hard to beat. - The location was great, very central, very safe and secure with undercover parking and swipe cards to access floor. Good washing machined and dryer and excellent heating. I did not like that the keys had to be collected offsite at the Ezymart on Allara Street, that there was nobody that you could speak to, to ask questions - I tried to ring the number provided several times and there was no answer, no message service and only an option to ask for a call back, which I did not receive. The kitchen needed a lot more glassware, crockery and better chopping boards and general kitchen ware. The bedroom that was attached to the ensuite was set up with two single beds, with one of the beds obscuring more than half of the door to the ensuite.
- Rohan (8/5): - Great location, nice and tidy apartment. Comfy beds. Some instructions for the cookie and oven would have made life a little easier. And a bit short on cutlery. But minor issues, in what was a lovely 4 night stay.
- Mathew (4/5): Avoid staying here. Terrible check-in experience - The apartment was nice and in a good location. Check in is abhorrent. They direct you to some dodgy offshore website and force you to put your credit card details and license on a website that looks like it could be hacked by a 5 year old. Then you have to go to a convenience stores 5 minutes away to get the keys. The keys have a tracking fob on them, so they know everywhere you go while you are staying there.
Sheets and carpet is stained. Almost every fixture in the place is falling apart. Under the beds hasn’t been cleaned since the place was built.
You also have to pay a $300 deposit to stay there and they take a week to pay it back.
- John (9/5): A great place to stay -

- Haidari (10/5): Really like the location on the area - Very good and the best location Everything was great overall. However, there were a couple of issues with the vacuum cleaner—it was full, and we had to clean it ourselves, which should have been done by the cleaner. The ironing board was also broken, so we couldn't use it.
There was also some dust on the floors, which we cleaned ourselves.
We were informed that the cleaner would come for the next guest.
If rules are made for the benefit of guests, they should also be followed by the property itself.
- Rosie (7/5): - Great location
- Leah (5/5): - Location Broken remote, toiletries not refilled.
- Barrett (5/5): -
- Leila (8/5): Nice apartment, but keys should be available on the property. - The property was in a good central location, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It took nearly 2 hours to locate the keys. Although they were in a small convenience store, we had difficulty parking, and then struggled with google maps, to find it. Fortunately, we were able to park closer when we had to drop the keys off there, on departing.
- Roxanne (4/5): Will not be recommending or returning - The rooms were very comfortable clean etc. The check in and key collection was very unsuitable. It took us two hours after arrival in Canberra to locate, obtain and secure our key then we had the parking debacle. The allocated parking space was no where to be found and despite several phone calls and sms texts we received no assistance whatsoever the allocated parking place was never found. Then came time to check out, we requested early checkout and were informed we would not be able to return the key until 9am. We were leaving at 4am. Eventually we were told to leave the key and photograph it left on the dining table. Then we were very unsure our ability to egress the building without being locked in. Despite the rooms being a delight the check-in/check-out debacle has ensured we will not be recommending your facility to our clients, family or friends . You would benefit from more effective system is my suggestion
- Lyon (3/5): Great location but it stops there - The location was amazing and once we figured out the parking it was good too. Accessing the property was a nightmare and the staff were no help at all, the apartment had a constant loud draft / wind whistle running through it at all times, the showers didn't drain and constantly over flowed, the linen was awful and the air-conditioning would constantly time out or tirn its self off, usually we wouldn't mind but the western sun belted in each afternoon and heated up the apartment so they were constantly uncomfortable as we were unable to cool the rooms down.

- Susan (9/5): great location for a visit to Canberra. - The shop was opened for a long time during the day. Instructions were very detailed. The keys were held at a location a few streets away. The shop was opened for a long time during the day.
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Cerys (7/5): Great location, clean and easy to find. - Location was very good, opposite a large shopping centre. Breakfast cafe at bottom of building was very good. Bedding wasn't very good. Beds were comfortable but sheets and quilt were a bit cheap.
- David (1/5): Don't bother. Read the reviews first as they are all accurate. Ridiculously stressful. -
- Thomas (8/5): Really nice flat for a short stay in Canberra with the kids. - The location is great and very close to everything you would like to see and do in Canberra. The flat is very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds were pretty good and the bathrooms are very nice. The washer and dryer are really great and the kitchen was reasonable. Also the car park underground was very useful for our stay. Communication with the property manager was brilliant and we had a rapid response to our queries.
So overall very pleased with our stay. I have never had to collect and drop off the keys at a separate location, and because of this I didn't properly read the check in instructions, so just be prepared for this, the pick up location was probably 10 or so minutes walk from the property.
I also didn't know at the time of booking that a security deposit was required, I can't see this mentioned anywhere in the listing. Again, this is quite possibly my fault for not checking, but this was a surprise to me.
Finally some of the utensils and other bits in the kitchen were quite flimsy and a bit cheap, I understand why the place chooses to use these, but they make using the kitchen a little bit impractical for cooking anything more than the basics.
- Yaling (7/5): - Location is great. There's a typo of where designated parking spot is in the check-in instruction - instead of 419/45, it was 419/55. The car park was huge and with random assigned numbers on the slots. We trusted the wording but stuck at B2 trying to locate the slot ourselves and by asking people picking their cars without luck until we tried temporarily at the closest guess of 419/45 which ended up being the sensible guess.
The check-in instructions were sent to us a little too late, hence we couldn't find out how to pick up keys etc. until we arrived at the said time of 3pm.
There were no spare rubbish bags anywhere inside the apartment even though we expected it would be available for us around kitchen area.
The beds setting seem a bit illogical - the master bedroom with ensuite has 2 single beds set for kids whereas the secondary bedroom has a queen-king bed (2 singles combined) set for couples/parents. We would have expected the setting should be swapped from normal past experiences.
The knifes in the kitchen were all very blunt and hard to use.
The shower room floor as well as the sink in the corridor bathroom were both blocked. My husband had to unblock the shower room one and take out plenty of hair but we left the blocked sink as it is - which definitely needs some clean up.
We are a very practical family and used to book service apartments when we travel with kids. The kids love the apartment experiences overall and we think too. Just the hickups but not too bad. Just thought it's worthwhile providing the feedbacks so your future guests can have better experiences.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Flaviad722 (7/5): As expected - The stay was comfortable, the location was very convenient- right next to the city centre. Some of the tiles on the balcony where unsteady so I didn't feel safe walking macro's the balcony. There was not much ventilation in the apartment itself so it made it a bit hard ti breathe properly. Also some of the utensils weren't very clean, the bed was not at all comfortable particularly the mattress, and also it would be helpful to have more than 1 set of keys when more than 1 person is part of the booking.
One thing that frustrated me was the parking issue. The number sequence is not in order and it took us over half an hour trying to find our parking bay. If the apartment could look into that and rearrange it so that its in order that would've made it so much easier.
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Ming (9/5): Very good location. - It’s a nice and big apartment . Very good for family trip.
- Miller (8/5): Pleasant - Great location. Free parking. It wasn’t as clean as we’d like.
- Nirupama (7/5): Overall good location and comfortable accommodation with some hiccup with locating the parking - The instructions specified that Car park entrance was from Batman Lane but there was no lane with this name. It caused a lot of confusion. Rather the entrance was from Founders Lane. Moreover, We got the elevator from Parking and ended up in a different Building Foyer and the lift wouldn't operate to level 2 and we got stuck in lift. Luckily, we could get out and then a resident of the Building helped us to and guided us to right Building. As there are different elevators for different building from the same underground Parking, clearer instructions are required.
- Lorna (7/5): Nice stay, good company and comfy centrally located apartment. - Perfect location to shopping and eateries. Easy to pick up and drop off keys. Please be aware this is not a complaint just constructive feedback back, as my guest actually runs an Air bnb. Pillows were all very soft, took 4 to make 1 normal size pillow. We would have appreciated kitchen wrap, paper towel, another dishcloth and maybe even a cheese or chopping board.
A coffee machine or coffee plunger would have been fantastic, as would have been basic condiments like salt and pepper. 4 teabags for 2 people for 3 days was insufficient.
Threadbare towel that ripped on first use.
Oven had some crumbs, and when bottom tray was removed base of oven was dirty
For those of us that are technologically challenged, there were no instructions for the oven, hotplates and the for the TV. Very difficult to get any free to air stations
- Alastair (8/5): Very good -
- Mikaela (6/5): Comfortable inner city apartment, perfect if you want to sacrifice for location - The process to collect the keys was clearly communicated with easy to follow instructions. The location is fantastic, you are in walking distance to everything you need - shops, restaurants etc. The apartment itself was ok and comfortable, for the price point and the location I wouldn't have expected anything else, however, there are a few things to be mindful of to set expectations - if you want inner city "luxury" on a budget, this is not the place for you. We comfortably had three adult women staying here and our friend we came to visit could all lounge and catch up. You could easily have four individuals if two don't mind sharing a bed (or two couples if one doesn't mind not sharing a bed). The management company for this apartment is based on the Gold Coast, this made it tricky when we had to raise some issues with the apartment.
1. The shower handle in the ensuite bathroom just fell off - this was raised immediately, but they were unable to have a person come to look at it until Tuesday, the day after we left so unhelpful for our situation.
2. The TV was not connected to an antenna so we couldn't watch free to air and there was no ability to screen share through smart phone. Not a huge issue, but when you have a mad footy fan wanting to have the game on in the background not ideal. This wasn't resolved as the response was just to scan for channels that would never have come up as there was only a LAN cable and power cord. Videos and photos were sent through so hopefully this is resolved for the next person who stays.
The cleanliness was not fantastic - the bedding and pillows (particularly on the couch and duvet covers) were stained, one bedding smelt like "man sweat" (my friends words), so it brings into question the quality of the housekeeping service that begins 'promptly at 10am' and whether bedding is being regularly changed or it's just a matter of needing to retire and update what's there.
There is no reception on site, you have to collect the keys from a store that is a 5-10 minute walk away from the apartment. This was an added step that made the process slightly annoying. In addition, I received a follow-up on the key drop off shortly after check out (there is a location tag attached to the key) which I felt did not provide sufficient time or considerations for the distance and added complication of having to walk to a separate location to return.
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Great central location across the road from Canberra Center. Restaurant's etc. Clean and tidy unit suited our needs. Dining chairs on deck area are low to ground and can be difficult to get out of. Small couch for 2 people in lounge area and could not seat adult people in this area to watch TV or have conversation. Off location key pickup and delivery about 8 min walk away from unit.
- Julie (8/5): Stay was ok location was great. Apartmentneeds attention due to furniture not appropriate - Location was great King bed in main room with no space to get into bed from side had to crawl in from foot of bed way to big for room, no dining table to use inside was to cold to sit on patio to eat at night, only room for 2 people to sit and watch tv on an uncomfortable lounge, wet washing left in machine, no hand towels, only 1 washer in bathroom, empty bottles in shower
- Greaves (4/5): Disappointing - Perfect location Stained carpets, faulty power points, no curtains on balcony windows
- Cookieoz (9/5): Great unit close to town - Excellent location with basement parking all at a good price. The apartment was comfortable and had the scope for a longer stay. There were some little things that mildly detracted ... not enough that I wouldn't stay again. For instance, the carpets are quite stained, the bedding is quite sparse, and there are no full sets of glasses and cutlery, etc. Also it was odd that the room with the ensuite had split beds and the king bed was the other room.
- T (9/5): Superb - Great Location, covered in balcony was awesome, how quiet it was next to a main road, every amenity you'll need
- Ross (5/5): Passable - The security deposit is still pending three day later. It needs to be finalised more quickly.
Received 13 emails regarding this booking. That’s excessive. The one I needed that was not received was the check in process.
- Matthew (8/5): It was clean, nice apartment. But wouldn’t stay again when the can’t cater a simple early check in. Do you think I asked - Clean, very nice and great location I didn’t like the communication. Yes they communicated with all questions. Just not very helpful when asking for an early check in when I booked. All they asked for was an email to send the check in details
When I asked again half a week out, gave me the (unsure, ask on the day) still not helpful, how can I plan a work stay
When they asked the day prior…. I said the rough same time again. Followed with ( can’t sorry, thank you for understanding. I didn’t understand, you gave me someone is checking out speak. Great!
Specially when I get a message to leave at 10am so the cleaners can clean straight away!
IT DOESN’T TAKE 5 hours to clean that place, I left it very clean. So u could have checked in early. If you have meetings or events don’t have them around 3-4PM as they won’t cater to check in earlier and you carry your luggage around
- Stephen (1/5): Entire apartment is way way below standard The cleaners should be ashamed of their efforts in preparing a room for occup - Difficult on check in , communication on procedures to obtain keys , had trouble finding our parking spot as there is no sequence to the numbering, entire apartment was filthy , it had a stale odour throughout, the carpets in both bedrooms were badly stained , beds only had a bottom sheet and the quilt covers didn’t appear to be clean and fresh . Windows on the enclosed balcony were filthy they had graffiti written on them from previous guests . Food particles under the cushions on sofa had been there for months . Mirrored door in one of the bedroom was missing . Only two teabags and coffee sachets , no milk for 3 adults for 2 day stay , Bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned , no hand towels and only 1 face washer was provided. Shower control lever kept falling off . No instructions to operate the tv , needed to put in password … ? Contacted management which are in QLD to discus the state of the room and was told to send photos which I did , no response until I rang a third time and they apologised and offered me $20 refund via email . what a insult! Would never ever recommend this place to anyone to stay .
- Tracey (5/5): Passable - Easy to follow instructions. Fantastic location. Loved the glassed in outdoor balcony. Needed hand towels in the bathrooms and extra towels for our length of stay.
- Glen (8/5): Very good - Location, good nearby cafes; enclosed sunroom. Very large complex; confronted by large, unmuzzled dog when entering lift.
- Nelson (9/5): Great place to stay - happy to book again for future trips! - Apartment was lovely and clean. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Aircon worked well. The security deposit is very high but was refunded quickly
- Krystel (8/5): Great location for a city stay - Keys were easily available for pick up, communication was reasonably good.
The apartment was spacious and really great for a couple of friends traveling together. Just a Ross the Canberra centre, restaurants and public transport. The wifi was terrible. Never connected and we couldn't get it fixed so ended up not having connection at all. Considering my friends were from the US, it was highly inconvenient
- Dianne (2/5): Poor - Difficult to communicate with the owners of the apartment. Wifi did not work at all. Dreadful communication regarding uplifting and returning of room keys
- Wong-see (7/5): Great location. Value for money - Location excellent. 300 metres walk to the big Canberra Centre with a lot of food options. Cannot use kettle and stove at same time as it tripped . We had to go to power box to turn it back on. Suggest you check well for safety reasons.
- Raine (8/5): Very good - As described.
Highly recommended.
- Rick (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent. Spacious. Great view of the balloons over Canberra. Light in bathroom not over mirror.
No instructions on how to use TV.
Dishwasher was turned off at plug under sink, no instructions .
- Susan (2/5): We left a day early and kissed goodbye to the money we paid for the final day. - The people on the phone in Queensland were very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Greg, the building manager, is a STAR. When I booked I got a message from the hosts saying they would meet us, and asking when we would arrive. When we arrived they were nowhere in sight. We rang the number, which was in Queensland. They told us they had sent an email that morning when we were on the road, telling us to collect the key from an ezymart 600m and several blocks away. If we didn't have a car, we'd be stuck. They sent the instructions again to an email I could access on my phone, which was very helpful. Then when we got the key and got into the very dark underground car park, we couldn't get the lift to work. We had to climb the fire stairs to the ground floor, with old, dodgy knees, and call Queensland again. They then told us that the fob for opening the garage, also operated the lift. This was not in the instructions, which said simply 'take the lift'. All in all, it took an hour to get into our room after arriving at the venue.
Later when we tried to leave the car park with our car, the battery in the fob was flat. After calling the very helpful building manager, we had to go out and buy a battery and then he put it in for us.
The dishwasher had a very short cycle and only used cold water. The dishwasher tablet drawer didn't open. And after two goes, we had to handwash the dishes.
There were no free to air channels on the TV, and as you needed a password to scan for them, we couldn't program them in.
In the main bathroom, instead of a hand towel, we were given a face washer. The ensuite, with the single beds, did have a hand towel.
- Daniel (4/5): Location was great communication was ZERO - Location was fantastic Wifi did not work at all. Could not contact property through website. Finally on the last night we were there they finally sent me an email to say how sorry they were. ZERO COMMUNICATION and NO HELP REGARDING WIFI, could not use my computer at all. NOT HAPPY AT ALL
- Johnny (1/5): The most inconvenient apartment I’ve rented. Only good for 1 person. - Close to shop No garage door key. Only 1 key to apartment. Only 1 chair in kitchen. Wi-fi is useless- can connect but must have filtered web search etc. SMEG appliances- no instructions on how to use. Very soft bed- hard on the body when waking up. Odour when we first entered.
- Heidi (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (5/5): Unit was nice but not an easy property to check in or checkout - Great location, lovely unit Checkin was a disaster, after finding the host we entered carpark unloaded car then realised we were not given lift swipe. Repacked car to exit carpark to get mobile reception - to call host and wait for them to return with swipe. The stains on the carpet in the bedroom were disgusting. Empty soap dispenser in shower.
- Chittick (7/5): Good -
- Levent (7/5): Good -
- Philip (6/5): With a bit more attention to detail the owners would get better reviews - location great Were given the wrong swipe key, so could not operate lift, had to get the 'key' guy back two times to get sorted.Need to be better organised.
We had four people but only 3 glasses + toaster was not working. Little things make a difference when paying top prices
- Delicata (1/5): Nice views but was as clean as a public bathroom - Had a good view Firstly when u walked in I noticed it hadn’t been cleaned from previous stays the beds where messy and only had a sheet cover and that’s it the carpet in the bedroom hadn’t been vacuumed and had dirty stains throughout the entire apartment the windows on the balcony were filthy and had rude drawing from previous people all over them the kitchen counters had dust on them and the kitchen wares where barely washed I was given a key and a buzzer for the garage and that’s it and they took my security deposit when I already explained to them I never received a fob upon key drop off I will not be coming back and couldn’t recommend them to any worst apartment and customer service I’ve ever had
- Beau (4/5): Get new carpet and better bedding and this place would be amazing! - There’s no reception. You have to message the owner and they come to meet you. We had to wait approx 15 min for keys to arrive. Carpet in the rooms was really bad. Stains everywhere. Beds didn’t have top sheets - only a quilt which felt in washed. If they get fixed, the place would be top notch!
- Donald (7/5): Location great. Apt needs a bigger toaster, instructions on how to use the oven and microwave dishes - Some difficulty collecting keys from contact. Took some time to arrive and we were in no parking zone in front of apt. Took extra communication to find him as he went to car park entrance where there was not parking. Luckily we connected but it was an anxious time.
- Domino (9/5): Lovely - Location and amenity Bathroom poorly designed and water doesn’t drain to the floor waste
- Barnett (1/5): I left it was so mouldy - Nothing It was mouldy and I left after 3 hours
- Ian (5/5): Disappointing - Location - 2 bedrooms-2 bathrooms Needs attention; water damage, carpets stained, sink plumbing issue, reported by email to Serain
- Allison (5/5): Passable - Great location The smell was terrible, it was a very strong odour
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Would stay again - Nice big appartment. Very sound proof. Walking distance to our medical appointment and to shops There was a bad stain on carpet obviously old. Hope it will be cleaned.
- Alan (9/5): The stay & location was excellent but spoilt by a total lack of communication - We liked the location & size of the unit Unable to contact anybody when we had problems. When we had a power problem nobody answered the phone. We received a response 2 hours later when we emailed, but simply asked us for a photo of the toaster that tripped the power supply. We asked where the power board was to reset. We eventually found it 3 hours later. Also everytime you used the washing machine water leaked out onto the floor
- Sunil (5/5): Please get rid of smell in bathroom - Apartment was good, Apartment was good, but the smell coming from bathrooms spoiled our Stay.. smell was really bad .. if smell wasn’t the issue would have been really good property to stay
- Pam (7/5): Good -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Good -
- Lovrinovic (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leigh (7/5): Great location & very spacious. Disappointed with cleanliness. - It was a central location to many of Canberra attractions. It was quiet. It had 2 bathrooms & was spacious.
The bed was comfortable & clean. The apartment looked tidy however, was very dusty & not very clean upon arrival. The shower in particular was dirty & needed scrubbing. As were the basin, kitchen sink and oven.
Some of the plates had small pieces of food on them.
The mirrored wardrobe doors and glass sliding doors had many fingers prints over them.
There were no instructions on how to use the oven, washing machine or TV. No oven safe trays or dishes provided. No information on where to dispose of waste. No vacuum cleaner to clean carpets.
Our stay was 11 nights and it would have been nice if we were some provision of cleaning products & equipment & more than 3 garbage bags for entire stay for both bath & kitchen. If you expect people to look after your property it is necessary to provide them with the tools to do so.
It would have been appreciated if there was a map to show where designated parking spot is located as it hard to find at first.
Only one lift card and door key provided which caused inconvenience when individuals were coming & going at different times of day & night.
- James (6/5): Good location the place was a bit dirty though - Location was great walking distance from the shops and 5 minute drive to all the main places. the rooms were ok, kitchen was good. large balcony was very dirty marks on the wall stains on the carpet mold in the shower - can tell it is not being cleaned very well. felt a bit disgusted with the clenliness.
- Cathy (3/5): A dissatisfied customer
Stay in this property. - Location was good & apartment had secure underground parking and there was a lift to the apartment. 1. Check in procedure by Serain residence services, taking a 300 dollar bond & I.D. after I had already booked & paid for the apartment. This information should be on the booking.com site.
2. On arrival, having to phone someone to bring keys to us whilst parked outside, plus communication was not easy.
3. On entering the 2nd floor apartment, I realised immediately that the furniture in this apartment was not the furniture in the photos on the website. We only had a 2 seater sofa for a 4 person apartment & there were 3 of us. There was a table & 4 chairs on the enclosed balcony & a desk & chair behind the sofa.
4. Both bedrooms had very badly stained carpets & cleaning hadn't removed these stains. They looked awful. The bedside cabinets & lamps in both rooms were so dusty you could write your name in the dust.
In the bedroom with the ensuite the 2 beds which made a king size bed was too big for the room, one side was up against the wall which meant you could only get in from one side of the bed & the end of the bed restricted the doorway into the bathroom.
Between the 2 bathrooms for 4 people there was a shower towel each. There was only 1 hand towel & 1 floor mat to share, they had put a face cloth in to use as a hand towel.
5. Kitchen was clean, however the oven needed a wipe out. The 3 teabags, 2 coffee sachets & sugar were in the fridge, but no milk to put in the tea!!
It was nice to have an enclosed balcony, but some of the floor tiles were wobbly & could be a trip hazard.
I contacted Serain residence services & sent photos of issues raised as requested. We also asked for someone to come to the apartment to see the us but that was ignored.
- Talia (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Clemente (8/5): Very good -
- Cassell (6/5): The apartment access instructions came too late, we were already there - It was close to supermarket The apartment bathrooms and toilets had not been cleaned from previous guests. There were no instructions how to use oven, and the power to the dishwasher kept turning itself off each time we used the rubbish bins as the power point was positioned too close to behind the pullout rubbish bins under the sink.....which was difficult to access, but the each time we needed to use dishwasher, we had to pullout the bins and turn powerswitch back on.
- Nicole (5/5): It’s was a good location - Great location No confirmation check in info email before check in. Had to phone.
Delay at residence waiting for them to meet to let me in and then didn’t speak English when trying to clarify instructions sent in broken text message.
So OVEYLY PRICED. Only a duvet no top sheet.
Very hot
Super thin pillows
Linen minimal tea towel as hand towel.
No bathmat or washers
Filthy stained carpet in bedroom.
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (5/5): Good location but need to be better presented - Good location, nice balcony Kitchen utensils very minimal, no cutting boards etc. furnishing too basic.
Carpets were filthy, especially in the main bedroom. Bathroom cleanliness generally poor.
- Xijiang (10/5): Exceptional - The location is good. Coles is 5 min by walk. Many stores are near the location. It took more than 30 minutes to confirm the location and pick up the keys.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denise (10/5): Excellent in every way except for the directions for key return needed to be explained fully & the carpets need clea - Everything
- Jodie (8/5): Very good -
- Iain (10/5): Great location and spacious, clean and well maintained apartment! - Location was perfect right across the road from the Canberra Centre, there was plenty of space for the 4 of us and it was clean and modern.
- Barry (7/5): Good - It was clean & handy to the shops. The details of how to get the keys didn’t make sense & the owner didn’t answer our calls. There was only seating for 3 people to watch Tv. The beds had no top sheets & the doonas didn’t fit the beds properly. We weren’t told that we had to find a particular parking spot & so drove around for half an hour (because the numbers had no order to them) till we came across someone to help us. From the time we arrived at the bldg it took nearly 2 hours to actually get in because of the directions by the owner. Wouldn’t stay there again.
- Leanne (9/5): overall good - location is perfect getting into the property quicker
- Gareth (6/5): Canberra has something for everyone. - Great spot, secure parking. Lots of room. Communication with host(s) caused anxiety especially when they asked for my credit card details. A bit short on customer service and access instructions
- Michael (7/5): Great location. - Location was prime as it was across from the huge Canberra Centre, shopping and food outlets. The main bathroom and bedroom floors still had hair everywhere - wasn’t cleaned at all.
- Doris (10/5): The best place in Canberra - This property is certainly one of the best places I’ve come across. It’s super close to Canberra Center. Super clean and spacious. The staff were so accommodating to my requests and gave me an early check in and late check out. I will definitely come back and stay here if I visit Canberra again. 10/10!!!!
- Quach (9/5): Superb - Good
- Rangi (7/5): Had a great time in Canberra. Check in should have been quicker and easier though. - Having to bathroom's with showers.
Central location
Large closed balcony and living areas Had to wait to 3pm for check in. The man handed us keys and no swpe card for lift. Had to go into car park twice due to him not giving us card the first time. And didn't apologise for his mistake. No wifi
Needed a bigger lounge chairs for 4 people to relax and watch movie.
Kitchen bench, lounge room floor and balcony table were not clean. Crumbs on floor, table and dust on stove.
Hair in bathroom sink.
Car park spaces very small.
- Poh (4/5): Disappointing -
- Colin (7/5): Good -
- Alison (7/5): Good -
- Stewart (4/5): disappointing - apartment was chosen for location bed was 2 singles pushed together. dishwasher had not been emptied. bathroom floor mat was wet on arrival. wifi was there but no password was given, "use phone as hotspot" was instruction. Telstra signal was so weak I lost access to documents. Car space was very narrow.
- Jodi (7/5): Very basic accommodation, key retrieval was inconvenient and uploading passport/photoID didn’t sit well with me. - Clean, comfortable, good location. Only a few tea bags, 2 packets of sugar and 2 tiny milks, not enough for 2 people.
Had to upload a drivers license ID or passport to get key collection details - didn’t really feel comfortable doing that. Had to contact owner/representative for them to drop us the keys on arrival but they didn’t answer the first call and when they did, had to wait half an hour for them to arrive. I requested a tax invoice for my payment but was told I had to wait a week before I could further submit a request again to obtain an invoice.
