Guest Reviews
- Glen (2/5): Not luxury at all !!! Not maintained and not pleasant to stay. - The only luxury would be the location and the price !!! We are very very upset and disappointed about your said “luxury” unit !!
- lightning not working
- bedding terrible, old and not cleaned
- tv not working properly (pixelated and un viewable)
- wifi unusable as too slow (see speed test attached)
- blind broken and not working properly
- not in good conditions and well maintained
- couch is not a bed
- bathroom not well maintained
- lot of things broken and not in good conditions
Apart the location, this is the only “luxury” part of the booking.
At that price we would have been better in a hotel or another location.
We shared these disappointments with them during our stay…. For a “standard” answer.
- Lauren (10/5): Fantastic stay and great location - Fantastic location, large rooms and high ceilings making the place feel more spacious as well. Comfortable beds and clean. Lovely approval pack with bubbles and snacks which was very kind. We communicated post booking via WhatsApp for key collection and time off arrival. The team were really quick to respond, extremely helpful instructions on how to use the key box etc .. Will absolutely recommend and stay again. Blinds were a little tricky to use and a bit broken which meant the light could get in during the morning, recommend bringing an eye mask.
- Abdul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leigh (9/5): Superb -
- Flavio (8/5): Very good -
- Tomas (10/5): Exceptional - Great location next to Hyde Park and Paddington Station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean, and the host was responsive. We also got a complimentary pack with Prosecco, snacks, and drinks, which usually is rare. Happy with our stay
- Asmunni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karella (5/5): Passable - We stayed at the apartment for four nights. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a lovely welcome basket, which we really appreciated.
While the apartment had a nice layout, unfortunately, it was not well-maintained. There were several things that were broken and had not been repaired, which gave the space a less clean appearance. For instance, the bedroom window and blinds were broken and quite dirty.
Additionally, we requested an invoice, which we only received three weeks later.
I hope these issues can be addressed for the comfort of your future guests.
Thank you
- Eleonora (10/5): Close to Hyde Park. - The flat and the building have a classic London charm, making it a great choice if you’re looking to immerse yourself in the city’s culture. It’s conveniently located near Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Station, with Paddington Station even closer. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and they even provide a basket full of goodies and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco! I really appreciated this thoughtful touch.
- Patricia (10/5): Close to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate - We had a great stay at this flat! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of 4. The location was convenient, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!
Ps: the location is very good!
- Flyon (6/5): Pleasant - Location is great and easy to coordinate with host. Solved all our issues. The beds are very uncomfortable and the wifi is extremely slow. The "sofa bed" is just a sofa with sheets.
- Ivo (10/5): Great - Just a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station and conveniently located next to Hyde Park, perfect for an evening stroll. Our host met us upon arrival, explained everything, and provided a complimentary welcome pack in the flat. We left feeling happy and satisfied. All good
- Kristin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nika (8/5): It was a nice stay for the price, close to everything. - Perfect location The couch was a little uncomfortable to sleep on
- Katherin (10/5): The best option near Hyde Park! - I really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location was great—quiet but close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The host was super helpful and made everything easy. Would definitely recommend!
- Kim (10/5): Check in was very easy and we were very comfortable nice near restaurant and teansport - Well situated and stunning property for London Need more toilet paper
- Jennifer (5/5): Luxury is an incorrect description. - The location, is fantastic. Everything is at your fingertips, all public transport, shops, cafes, Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Buckingham Palace and more, you can walk almost everywhere. The flat itself was relatively clean and well organised and a great place to base yourself from, if moving around London and England. This property was a bit shabby, it could so easily have been beautiful, given a little extra care to details. Example: The bed sheets did not fit the bed. The mattress sinks in the middle. The bathroom had black mould and the exhaust fan didn’t work. There were stains on the velvet lounge that a quick steam clean could have resolved. A few items were faulty but they were replaced once we alerted them. The wifi didn’t work properly and was so slow, we bought our own, which was disappointing.
- Gordon (3/5): More like a hostel experience than a luxury flat. - Great location close to train stations and subway.
Hostess provided some good restaurant recommendations when asked. Initial communications with property were good. On day of arrival property requested contact 30 minutes prior to arrival. I sent a message and received no reply. I then called the property and didn't get an answer. Fortunately I received a call back and the hostess said she was on her way , although 30 mins late.
Our main disappointment was the lack cleanliness of the flat. It had not been well swept since the previous rental as there was hair on the stairs and floors.
The caulking around the tub is stained with black mould and the freezer needs to be de iced.
Over all the flat felt run down and in need of maintenance and repair.
- Natalie (10/5): Perfect for longer stays. - Great location. All the facilities we needed for 4 nights. Lots of space. Heating works well. Lots of hot water and food pressure. Could feel the springs in the bed. Shower was quite low, difficult for tall people. Couldn't close the blinds all the way due to the short string. Was quite noisy at night.
- Do (9/5): Couldn't find a better place with the same level of convenience and comfort. - Superb location! The apartment is perfect for 2-3 people with everything we need for a lovely stay in London. The wifi connection is a bit slow though.
- Viktoriia (10/5): Top location - Very close to Paddington station so we were walking towards the property. Host meet us and provided complimentary pack in the apartment. Clean, fresh bedsheets, equipped for comfortable stay, thank you
- Maksims (10/5): Exceptional -
- En (2/5): Bad experience - For an apartment costing £350 a day, it’s disappointing. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub which is terrible for shower. My four family member took shower nervously everyday and had to mop the floor, this is so frustrating!
The photos of the department may look nice, yet I feel much inconvenient, for instance, there’s no bedside table/night stand, you can’t even enjoy a cup of tea when sitting on the bed.
Hot water and cold water comes from separate faucet, this makes the water either too cold or too hot, the design is so old, and kind dangerous for kids.
There are cracks at least on two bowls, out of four, and one is even leaking when filled with soup!
There are only two rolls of toilet paper. Although we can contact the housekeeper on Booking.com, the frequency of replying is not ideal. We gave up texting them, and then used paper sparingly for five days.
And about the bottled water, we’ve heard that tap water in London is not recommended for drinking, and the apartment provided only four small bottle of water at the first day we arrived, and when we asked, the housekeeper seemed to be very polite, saying to provide that 4 bottled water is their courtesy. Well, when we stayed in the hub by Premier Inn London Tower Bridge hotel, we had abundant drinking water supply, and never need to be told ”the bottled water is our courtesy “.
The housekeeper(the one who answer our question on the Internet and gave us the door key)found that there was no detergent for laundry in the evening we arrived, yet he only came back the next afternoon with the detergent. What if we stayed just one night? We won’t be able to do our laundry and use the equipment.
The wifi was not good from time to time, it was so slow that I can’t even send texts. It never happened when we stayed in the hotel.
I won’t recommend this apartment and would never spend so much to stay in this type of accommodation in London, ever again.
- Angela (9/5): Gorgeous apartment in perfect location. - The location was brilliant.
Close to the city but slightly less busy.
The place was perfect for us - it had everything we needed. The bed wasn’t great, but everything else was absolutely perfect.
- Robert (7/5): Worked well for a family holiday with older kids, fantastic location - Location was excellent, quiet and very convenient for transport. Property was spacious and beds were comfy. Quite a few minor housekeeping issues, sheets not fitting the bed, freezer needed defrosting, plug in kitchen sink broken, bin broken, unable to use safe, blinds not working easily, no dishwasher detergent, really annoying sensor light in hallway.
- Safaa (9/5): Superb -
- Ailynne (7/5): Good - Maurice was able to meet us on our late arrival. Able to take our call when the hot water and outlets was not working. It was nice that the location was close to Paddington station and not in the crowded area. There were a couple of blinds that were broken both bedroom and by the main living area.
- Mustafa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR TIME! We will definitely visit them again
It was so beautiful and most importantly calm and peaceful! Everyone was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. It was extremely, very clean! The house has all the facilities for your stay.
I wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the house more time. recommended!
- Moayad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabelle (7/5): Well located, practical ! - The key box wasn't openning with the code and I could not reach the host.
