• Alessandro (10/5): New Year’s Day with the family in Gand - Nice apartment in a strategic position in the city center. Even if we didn’t meet in person, Anna is a fantastic host who has taken care of everything!

Comfortabel en proper. De communicatie met de host is heel gemakkelijk, alles was perfect geregeld. We hebben maar een nachtje daar gebleven en volledig het sfeer van Gent kunnen voelen. Zeker een aanrader. We komen 100% terug in de lente. /

• Natalya (7/5): The location is absolutely fantastic, and the staff were friendly and welcoming! However, the noise and poor air circula - The location couldn’t be better! The view is stunning, and there are several shops and grocery stores nearby. The place is quite noisy — we could hear the neighbors as well as sounds from outside (public transportation, people on the street, etc.). The furniture isn’t of great quality; I’d recommend investing in better bedding (pillows and mattress). Additionally, the space had a noticeable smell of cold tobacco and felt stuffy, as if it hadn’t been properly aired out.

• Roel (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf op een unieke locatie, zo goed. Echt midden in het oude centrum! - De locatie is gewoonweg perfect. Beter in het centrum dan dit is niet mogelijk. Alles was netjes schoon en zag er keurig uit. De slaapbank slaapt niet heel erg lekker, maar is voor één nachtje best te doen.

• Elaine (10/5): Family trip to Ghent - The apartment was just gorgeous and such a perfect location to explore Ghent! Anna was a brilliant host, with good communication. We stayed during a heat wave and it was very hot the first night; I messaged Anna asking for a fan and she delivered it the next day. Thank you so much! The views from the apartment are absolutely stunning and the Leonidas shop does a great takeaway coffee and chocolate for just 3 euro!! A perfect stay for us and our children. 😊 The windows were great for letting a breeze through and admiring the city. We went with our daughters, aged 9 and 11. If we had younger children I would have been worried about the risk of falling from a window as the ledges were very low. For older children and adults the apartment was perfect.

• Roselijn (8/5): Echt super gaaf uitzicht! - De locatie, midden in het centrum! We waren er met de Gentse feestdagen, wat het extra leuk maakte. We hadden uitzicht op de feestende en vrolijke mensen. Waren in een mum van tijd bij de feesttenten, park, restaurantjes, winkels en de mooie kleine straatjes. Het is een leuk ingericht appartement, alles was aanwezig. De host was altijd binnen 10 minuten bereikbaar en kwam direct in actie als dat nodig was. Het was ‘s avonds best warm in het appartement. Het aan te raden om oordopjes aan te schaffen met de Gentse feestdagen maar die hadden wij gelukkig al.

• Melody (10/5): Location, location, location. Sightsee right from your living room. - We absolutely loved the location. Couldn’t be closer to all of the beautiful buildings in the historic district. We were able to feel like we were sightseeing right from our space. Everything was so convenient to this property. Nothing to complain about. This place was fantastic. Trams and Christmas market were on the loud side but added to the festive spirit.
• Mirka (10/5): Best apartment in Ghent - Location can't be beat. The apartment is cosy, comfortable and clean and the host extremely kind and accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
• Adila (3/5): I would NOT recommend it. You can get a nice hotel room for the same price. - The location is very central. Kitchen is equipped and was clean. The shower itself was also clean. 1)Firstly, check-in was complicated and we had to wait outside in cold until the owner could open the door for us. 2) The heating was not turned on. It didn’t start working for hours and the apartment was VERY cold. Freezing … 3) The apartment was not clean. The floors were dirty. We found hairs of other people in beds (see the photos). 4) The wifi didn’t work the whole time during our stay. 5) The bedroom smelled like sigarettes and was not comfortable to sleep in. 6) If you want to sleep, you won’t be able to, because of all noise outside. Bad isolation anf very noisy location (but central). 6) When we tried to contact the owner to sort out these issues, her justification was that she was abroad.

The full information about the apartment was not available, like how to get in, what all the amenities are, and about the heater. Also, the tourist tax was more than stipulated on the website, without any explanation given.
