Guest Reviews
- Brian (4/5): Lots of repairs required - The place was fairly clean, but more vacuuming could be done on the floors. Could not turn off the heater in the upstairs washroom, smoke detector just sitting on the table, railing upstairs not stable and could break any time, mirror just leaning against the wall and can see it has fallen off, upstairs bedroom lights not working, wifi very weak and lots of times connection would drop off. Stove not working. The circuit breaker popped when plug in the kettle and had to move to another location. Up stairs washroom fan does not work. There are too many other things to list, but it is obvious there is no or very little maintenance done to the place.

- Alexis (10/5): Buen lugar - Excelente alojamiento muy grande y cómodo
- Luke (8/5): 2nd stay - Location cost we enjoy the stay will continue to cone back Oven didn't work but spoke with property manager
- Sami (7/5): Overall very nice place to stay, location is not to far from Queens Univeristy campus. Few issues with bugs but nothing - Nice kitchen, big open space. Balcony was nice. It was also good to have 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. There were a lot of bugs/ beetles randomly appearing throughout the inside. They were harmless though.
- Joe (8/5): Overall, it was good. The place was nice, the owner was responsive. Cleanliness was an issue. - The property is spacious, the layout is nice. Modern, easily accessible. The hot water was never hot, only warm.
There were a few things dirty.
- Michèle (9/5): Parfait pour la famille! - La cuisine, les 3 chambres et le salon. C’était parfait pour la famille! Les matelas commencent à avoir du vécu.
- carrie (8/5): -
- İlhan (1/5): Berbat - Temiz değildi, kullanılmış, kirli ve dağınık bırakılmıştı. Kalmak imkansızdı Pisliğe tahammül etmek mümkün değildir
- Sarah (8/5): - lovely place, so spacious and tidy. the upstairs shower took forever to get warm / honestly never got hot, other than that great place!
- Darlene (8/5): Accommodation was nice and clean. Had everything we needed to make our stay great! - Was very nice and the location was great walking distance to everywhere we needed to go! The baseboard heating didn’t work very well and several of our guests were cold.
- Susanne (7/5): -
- Amber (7/5): Overall really nice place! I would stay again considering it can fit a lot of people and the price is decent! Needs a da - Very spacious for having 6 people and a dog. It was awesome being able to bring the dog on our vacation. The gated balcony was a plus. There was lots of extra pillows and blankets & cleaning supplies. Having a fan or AC in the rooms was great. The lights in all 3 bedrooms either didn’t work at all, or flickered like a strobe light. The tv in the main room downstairs was super small. The upstairs drain plug wouldn’t unplug (figured out how to drain it but it’s still broken) the half glass door in both of the showers was different and kind of hard not to get water on the floor outside of the tub. The beds are a little sunken in the middle.
- Sylvia (9/5): We would definitely stay agian - The place was spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Each bedroom was comfortable, and the living area was perfect for relaxing together. The location was also very convenient, close to downtown. It could have been a bit cleaner.
- William (3/5): Disappointing stay in uncomfortable apartment and uncooperative host - Location was fine. Laundry facilities were good. Beds were uncomfortable- sagged into the middle. Not enough seating in lounge room for 4 booked adults. Uncomfortable lounge seating. Only 2 wine glasses supplied and host refused to supply more when asked. Only 1 key available for 4 adults booked. Towels were stingy and no bath mats provided. Had to ask for extra toilet paper to be provided.
- Parisa (4/5): - The place is renovated but is not clean. There were ants, spiders, and bugs everywhere. While I was sitting on the couch, my daughter screamed because a bug that looked exactly like a flea dropped—likely from the ceiling—into my hair. Ants were not only on the floor but also on the living room table and couch.
I stayed with my husband and daughter for just one night, and they were very frustrated with the condition of the place. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs before and have never had such an experience. In every other stay, we were provided with basics like shampoo and a blow dryer, but none were available here. There was a hot air brush which was so dirty and FULL of hair. Also t a he closet in the master bedroom was full of junk.
Another issue was the main entrance - There was a step immediately after entering. Both my husband and daughter tripped on it, which made it a safety concern.
- glockner (1/5): - Gleich nach unserer Ankunft wieder abgereist.

- Diana (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Grosszügig, sehr sauber und wunderbar eingerichtet!
- Sunita (7/5): Overall good stay. Decent unit, but neighborhood not the best. - Very spacious and clean. Not greatest location. Construction next door, dirty surroundings. Didn’t feel like the safest neighborhood.
- Claire (5/5): déception - rien bruit de la route très circulante
lits inconfortables
- Fabila (7/5): -
- Kinjal (8/5): Very good - Location, interior near by Lil bugs in the washroom
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (8/5): Nice apartment but can be improved - The apartment is not central but we had car and could park it on the drive away. I saw there's a bus stop nearby as well but didn't use it. I think it's like 2Km from city center, so walkable as well.
The apartment has lots of light, the decoration is nice, and it is spacious.
There are 2 rooms and a full bathroom upstairs, and a room and a full bathroom downstairs, as well as living room with kitchenet. There's a washing machine and a drying machine as well downstairs. I really liked the deck on the back of the house but it was a bit cold for me to use it.
Beds were made and there were towels on the rooms.
The host is really easy to contact and very responsive should you need anything (we couldn't reach wifi and he replied almost immediately). The instructions he sent to collect the key and get into the apartment was also very clear and easy to follow.
Stayed 4 nights and would have returned but it wasn't available for the other dates we needed. The door to the basement could not be locked from inside the house so it felt a bit strange.
There was one morning we found out that the bagels we bought the nigh before for breakfast were eating by some kind of animal, maybe a rat.
Could be more clean, and closets could be more tidy so we could use them.
- David (5/5): Could be better - Building looked tired. Not very clean. Ants found in building on regular occasions.
- Neil (1/5): Apartment from hell - nothing absolutely horrendous Everything , it smelt bad , an infestation of mice, bed was horrendous
- Li (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (4/5): Cleanliness needs to be addressed - The property was not up to standards related to cleanliness and this should be addressed. We were not pleased with conditions of bathrooms and cleanliness of the facilities. Also, there is a hinged door in the floor that opens into the basement which had a ladder under it. This hinged door didn’t lock on the main floor and therefore we felt uncomfortable. If it was cleaned properly and door latched, this place has great potential.
- Luke (6/5): Pleasant - Great location to the arenas we had to be at.
Easily accommodated our needs Minor issues but resolved with property owner
- Stan (8/5): Exactly what we needed, spacious and not too expensive -
- Pavlov (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Mataj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tuany (9/5): Nice place, good value - The house has all appliances needed, is very well located and has a nice decoration The heating and the shower could be warmer
- Marianna (8/5): Very good -
- Jens (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - No wifi available
- Steph (9/5): A wonderful home away from home! We really enjoyed our stay here & are planning on booking again! - Great find for Kingston!
Very responsive host, which was very nice. Provided me with very clear instructions of how to get in, the wifi and all the other details.
Lots of room for multiple people. Three bedrooms were perfect for us and having two full bathrooms was fantastic.
It was my husband and I, our niece and her bestie for reference.
Decently equipped kitchen in terms of dishes, appliances, pots and pans.
Great selection of coffee making options (including a French press if that's your thing).
There was coffee, sugar and coffee mate on site. Along with a varied selection of spices, seasonings and oil.
Close to everything we needed by car, which was a huge plus for us. Although there is other various means of transport and if you're ambitious, walking.
There are a few places nearby like Circle K and a cafe.
Two TV's was a plus in case someone couldn't agree on what to watch (the second TV is in the ground floor bedroom).
The air conditioning was helpful since it was warm when we were there. There is also a fan if you need it.
Neighbour was quiet, only spotted them once during our stay.
While we didn't utilize the yard, it's a very nice, lush, space with a lovely deck to enjoy.
Nicely decorated and well equipped with towels, extra pillows (in the closet) and blankets should you need them.
It did get a little noisy but not terribly so, as we were out enjoying Kingston during the day (as you should!) and the majority of evenings. Case in point, it didn't hinder our sleep in any way as all bedrooms face away from the street.
Very tastefully decorated, felt warm and welcoming without being over the top. Truthfully there wasn't much our party of four didn't like.
The bed in the ground floor bedroom is *very* bouncy. So I suggest giving that room to a single person or someone you don't like as much (lol).
The shower can be a bit tricky to *not* make a mess for some. Just stand closer to the shower head and you should be fine.
The oven tapped out while I was cooking something. Not the end of the world, but a tad irritating. You need to move the oven from the wall and unplug it to reset.
I was advised to not put the oven above 325, which isn't ideal for most things if you're cooking from scratch.
This only happened once, so please don't let that deter you. It's more of a heads up than anything else :)
- Costinak (8/5): I would stay here again if I was coming to Kingston with more than just my wife and myself. - The property is attractive, and with two bedrooms and a bath upstairs, and one bedroom and a bath downstairs, it fit our needs exceptionally well. The bedrooms are inconsistent: one has a closet, but no dresser; one has the dresser, but no closet. The exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom was not working.
- Terry (10/5): Boldt castle and Fort Henry trip - Good central area on a fairly quiet street and was a great price.
