• Kps80 (10/5): Boutique Winery in the Middle of the Lavaux Wine Region - From the outside to the inside, this isn't just a place to spend the night. The owners Patricia and Denis have made a unique and very convient place to stay. Our room had a welcome bottle of wine made from the grapes on their property. The winery has been operated through their family for generations. Their location is unique and private but close to everything. Stepping out and turning left, about 3 minutes up the walkway you join the Lavaux terraced vinyard paved walkway. We walked the path for a few hours to St Saphorin, enjoying the fall colors of the grape vines then took the train back to Cully. In Cully we watched the sunset before heading back to our room. If you step out to the street and turn right, a walkway along Lake Geneva will lead you into town. The short, about 4 minute, walk ends in the towns park. There's a COOP nearby and many fine eating establishments. When we arrived, Patricia brought us a complementary cheese and meat board with wine. It was a very relaxing way to start our stay. The rooms are as described so there were no surprises. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There are many personal touches in the rooms that sets this stay apart from the regular hotel stays. The kitchen was very well equiped but we didn't use it. We really liked the garden setting around the building. The trough with the flowing cool spring water made filling our drinking containers effortless and a little more enjoyable. Having to leave.

• Katherine (10/5): Staying at this winery was fantastic. - The place was beautiful and it was in a great location. The owners were kind and welcoming and great hosts. All dinner spots close around 7pm in this town.
• Natalya (10/5): Idillic and calm stay by the lake - One can immediately spot if the place is a commercial rental or a place is dear to the host and taken care of. We definitely experienced a very cozy apartment, where the hosts dearly care about the facilities and comfort of the guests. We felt like home and Particia and her husband were extremely helpful and thoughtful - for example offering to pick us up from the train station, getting us free transportation tickets to go along the Geneva lake and arranging a welcome wine tasting. Wine by the way is grown and produced right there and can be highly recommended. We had a very memorable and positive stay and would like to say THANK YOU to hard-working and attentive hosts.
