• Todd (9/5): Superb - Great location. About 10 minute walk from a viewpoint cafe and across the street from some venders (we took Ubers to town, but you could walk in 20 minutes). Washing machine (bring your own detergent) was great to use. Had some beach chairs. Downstairs AC and AC in each bedroom. Downstairs is a good size with high end appliances and a well setup kitchen (there were TVs, but we did not use them). This is a gated community (one access fob given) with a caretaker living on site (my Brazilian friend liked how secure it was). Home was VERY clean and the front door had bug screens. Host allowed us to checkin early, said late checkout would have been possible if no reservations the following day. It seems that early/late checkout is dependent on other bookings so less likely in the high season. Good interest speed. The location is farther back from the road than the Booking, pin shows. This is likely a google maps issue, not the host being deceptive. It is ~3 minute walk to the pin, still a great location. There was hand soap but not shampoo/conditioner. Host does not speak English, but we were able to communicate via WhatsApp easily and questions were answered very promptly. Despite the language barrier, one of the nicest, best hosts I have come across. If you want to use the outdoor jacuzzi you need to fill it up. None of these negatives are really negative, just some details to set expectation. We would stay here again and our friends who did not stay here probably will stay here next time.
