- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and cozy. The apartment really is an escape in that it is very quiet and private (I did not hear the neighbours even once though I know they were there as I noticed the light in their balcony goes on and off at times). The bed mattress is very comfortable - I slept like a baby. The building is well maintained and the staircase is always spotless. The balcony is perfect for sunbathing and the large doors/windows enhance a sense of spaciousness. There are no remarkable restaurants or banitsa (burek) in the vicinity but food is generally a disappointment in Varna. However, there is an excellent sourdough bread baker only a 4 minute walk from the apartment called bread house. When I self checked in I was sent the WiFi password which was incorrect. Luckily the host also sent a photo of a handwritten scrap of paper on which the correct password was written. The handwriting was not easy to decipher because who wrote it was probably an older lady who is not proficient in latin script (maybe the host's mother or a cleaning lady?) Luckily I didn't panic and followed my hunch so I discovered the correct password (though the wifi provider name was also wrong). In the apartment there are two or three signs of yet another wifi password which is erroneous so the whole wifi connection matter is unnecessarily confusing and clumsy. It is a minor issue but if it is not fixed it can make life difficult for those checking in late at night and in need of immediate connection.
