Also, my bedroom floor hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, the room is so small that it would take less than 10 seconds to do, and yet there was a big amount of hairs that weren't mine and they stuck to my plastic bags. It would also be nice to have wifi at all times, without having to ask every time. The bed was very curvy, so I slept on the bed spread for extra cushioning

• Lorenzo (8/5): Essenziale, ma perfetto se sai adattarti! - Zona comoda per poter poter visitare le attrazioni principali di Kuala Lumpur, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della monorotaia. Intorno ci sono un sacco di ristoranti e mercati. Il ragazzo alla reception è stato stracarino e disponibile per qualsiasi nostra necessità. Purtroppo la camera è davvero spoglia, almeno quella in cui abbiamo dormito noi. Senza finestra, senza nessun punto d’appoggio per le nostre cose.

• Garvan (7/5): Good and cheap - Excellent location in the center of Chinatown. Clean and un assuming, the large (but unfilled) room was nice for two suitcases. It was a little noisy in the room at night due to outside traffic at times but this was also an issue in the other budget accomodation we stayed in in Chinatown so not bright stars inn fault.
• João (7/5): It works, but you get what you pay for - The host is quite welcoming and always available to help. There was a problem with the WiFi and he used his personal hotspot so that I could have WiFi at all times. The location is very central. Things mostly work. As one of the cheapest options I found to stay for a couple of nights in KL, I must say this Inn doesn't punch above its weight. While the location is very central, the neighborhood also feels slumsy. Namely, the building in which the Inn is located feels quite strongly like project housing. The building door doesn't close automatically: it must be locked with the key when leaving the building. Some people did not do that, meaning that the building door was often open. The entrance to the building itself is not very clean. Once we get to the Inn itself, things get a bit better, although never too fancy. The room is small, as described, and the mattress is very basic. The walls had quite a few stains on them. However, all of this is quite acceptable. What I found should definitely have been better was the condition of the sheets, which were also stained. The host did replace them straight away upon request, but while the replacement was more acceptable, it still had some small stains. The bathroom also feels extremely cheap, but it mostly does the job. The only problem I had was that the heater in the shower did not work properly. I was unable to regulate the temperature, meaning I could either turn on the heater, which heated the water a bit too much, or turn it off, which had the water a bit too cold for me. I had to manage that by turning it on and off every 30 seconds or so.

• Maciej (7/5): Basic standard with a very helpful assistance of the reception. - Basic standard. Good value for money. The brightest star of the Bright Star Inn is the receptionist - Nasim. He was very helpful with everything. There was a problem with internet so he gave me access to his private hot spot. He helped me with my SIM card. He delivered a lot of useful information I asked for about the facilities in the neighborhood, the attractions during New Year's Eve and a lot of information about the city. He was always available and helpful.

L'accueil de l'hôte qui a été arrangeant et nous a proposé une chambre plus grande et mieux équipée mais évidemment plus chère. Le lit très ferme et confortable La rallonge électrique fournie par le réceptionniste Le distributeur d'eau bouteille dans le hall. L'environnement sale de l'hôtel à l'extérieur. Les serviettes de mauvaises odeurs. Propreté limite de la salle de bains Fenêtres non étanche au bruit Bâtiment bruyant le soir et la nuit. Le rapport qualité prix peu attractif. La chambre standard aurait du être au prix de la chambre économique. Nous avons après coup trouvé mieux et moins cher dans la rue d'en face.
• Pawel (10/5): Great place to stay in Kuala Lumpur - I really liked the olace. Great location and very clean place. Person from the reception is extremely helpful and welcoming. Good places to eat nearby and all the main points in the city within walking distance. Next time in KL i would love to stay here as well.

• Bruno (9/5): Superbe rapport qualité/prix pour une chambre individuelle en plein centre de KL - Le personnel est très accueillant et sympatique. L'emplacement est superbe et permet si l'on veut marcher, de visiter pas mal de choses sans prendre les transports (Tours, Bukit Nanas, Chinatown, etc..) Bien que la station de métro se trouve à moins de 5 min à pied. Douche chaude et serviette fournie. Bombonne d'eau chaude ou froide à dispo dans l'entrée. Mettre une table de chevet dans les chambres individuelles, bien que je ne sais pas si il n'y en a pas dans les plus grandes chambres ?

• Bruno (9/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix pour une chambre indépendante. - Très bien placé à 15/20 min de marche de sites à voir. Station métro proche (4 min). Réceptioniste très sympathique et disponible. Fontaine d'eau gratuite dans le hall. Climatisation et ventilateurs. Douche chaude avec serviette fournie. Murs très fins si bien qu'on peut entendre d'éventuels voisins "bruyants". Manque d'une petite table de chevet prêt du lit.

• Anitha (7/5): - Location was convenient but rooms and bathrooms were small and only one working hot shower for 6 rooms. I luckily never had to wait for a shower but not ideal. Bed was awful and gave me back pain but when I complained, the host swapped out the mattress. The hist was amazingly sweet and tried to be helpful. Checked in when I did not get back one day when out of town, etc. Which is really nice as a female solo traveler. Cleanliness, quality of materials provided. Mattress was terrible. Towels were so dirty that I would not even use it to wipe my hands. It looked disgusting. Sheets were not very clean. But then again, you get what you paid for.

La habitación tenía manchas en el techo como de que tenía filtraciones importantes y parece que jamás habían limpiado las ventanas porque en el borde había cacas pequeñas de algún animalito. No había ningún mueble para dejar ropa ni mesita de noche para dejar nuestras cosas, sólo estaba la cama baja. Abajo, a la entrada del alojamiento siempre había gente durmiendo en la calle, no sé sentía muy seguro. En la escalera de entrada del alojamiento, no había luz y había que subir en oscuras.

The Wi-Fi worked very well, and the most notable feature was the friendliness of the receptionist. Although there is a sign, since the building next to it was under construction, it was difficult for me to find it. I wrote a message through the app and the receptionist immediately came out to show me the entrance.

Despite my criticisms, it was a great place to stay and I would gladly return. There was facial stubble shavings in the soap dish of the wash basin for the whole time I was there. The bathroom was evidently never cleaned. Also no toilet paper. Additionally, the room I booked and paid for was given to someone else and I was given an alternative instead. It wasn't a big deal for me but it shouldn't happen.

• Zsófia (10/5): Nice staff and good rooms - Comfortable bed and clean rooms. Not noisy neighbourhood, so the nights were calm. There is drinking water at the entrance, which was nice everytime. The staff is nice, even helped us find washing services nearby. The walls were pretty thin, so we could hear each other a little bit in the rooms, but it was not terrible.

• Dennis (10/5): Great staff, great hotel, great price - I had an awesome (second) stay with Bright Star Inn. In the beginning there was a mix up with my room but the staff handeld it very professional and i got a room upgrade for free. The room had everything described on booking and was very clean and spacious. The location is also perfect, close to shops, the city, restaurants and transportation. I have to give extra credit to the incredible professional and friendly staff. They speak very good english and are always there for you. All in all 10/10

• Tcg (6/5): Pleasant - Staff very nice attitude, very kind to explain everything regarding the stay. I dont mind the room being quite small then expected. The fan angle, since the bed is double decker, due to the weird fan angle, only the one on top can feel comfortable while sleeping, the one on bottom will feel quite hot during bed time. If can fix the fan angle will be quite great. Im the one sleeping in lower bed, in the end I chose to sleep on the floor while using the blanket as a mattress just so I can get some air.

The host are very friendly, cooperative, fast response and polite. Nothing, everything is good for this level of price

It's a little difficult to find the hotel itself (no signage) so I would recommend calling him to meet you - he is very quick and responsive. Location was the biggest selling point, single room was very small - I got the room on sale and think that was closer to meeting value for money, facilities were enough for someone who doesn't need fancy.
