- Isilda (1/5): Bad - The experience was truly disappointing. The price was exorbitant given the conditions. The kitchen was outdated, with rusty electric cooktops that were unusable (they were covered in the Booking photos, likely to hide this). The air conditioning was only available in the living room, with none in the bedroom. The filters were old and uncleaned for years, emitting a moldy smell when turned on. During a particularly hot week (39 to 44 degrees), the bedroom felt like a sauna. Mosquito nets were only available in the bedroom, leaving the living room unprotected. The washing machine was old, rusty, and unusable. The bathroom facilities were outdated and had not been maintained for decades. There were several instances of no water supply, and the hot water was insufficient for everyone to shower comfortably. The TV had no channels and seemed to be there just for decoration. Given the apartment’s quality, the price was unjustifiable. In the same area, you could find much better apartments for half the price (around EUR 50), newly refurbished and better equipped. The pictures did not reflect reality. Ultimately, all you get is a bed to sleep in.
