Loved the bar area, centred around the circular fire. Excellent proximity to ski bus and right in the centre of town. We had an excellent spacious room, which was very comfortable.

Haustiere sind willkommen 🤗 SEHR GUTES Essen im Restaurant (die Kaspressknödelsuppe - ein Traum!) und sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Habe mit Begeisterung die Familienchronik gelesen (gebundenes Heft mit vielen alten Fotos, sehr liebevoll gemacht)! Habe dann erst gemerkt, dass mir der Chef in 4. Generation das Essen serviert hatte (mit einem schwungvollen "los das schmeckn!" 😃👍) Weiß nicht, da fällt mir nichts ein.....

Hoe leuk is dat! Heerlijk avondeten en ontbijt. Super mooie en schone speelkamer voor de kids. Overal was net dat beetje extra aandacht aan besteed.

- Madeline Mukele (10/5): Amazing family hotel - Our room was big and clean always. The food was exceptionally delicious and the employees are the nicest and friendliest we have ever experienced! We have been to many hotels in Austria and around the world, but these have been so far the best. We felt at home, our needs were met. They would even warm food for our toddler and would make suggestions for his food incase the kids menu was not what he could eat. They always found solutions to accommodate him too. This is a hotel that we will definitely visit again. Thats has never been the case. My toddler fell in love with Julia. She was amazing.. We didn't feel uneasy with the kids if they were hyper, the employees would indulge them and this would distract the kids. They didn't react irritated, they were welcoming. For the first time I found a cook who knows how to make Lamb meat. Yummy and delicious food. We were greeted and welcomed at the reception like VIPs. The beds were comfortable, the play room was really nice and we loved the table they selected for us during our stay. Amazing hotel, amazing team, everything was amazing. We loved it and wished we had booked longer. There are shops and cafés also in the area so incase one wants to shop or chill somewhere else, it's available. Best place for families. Weiter so... Everything was perfect. The only thing I'd have wished for is for a roof/ cover at the terrace especially when it's raining. And a water cooker in the room would have also been great, especially when travelling with toddlers. But still everything was perfect.

- Elisabeth (8/5): Ein herzliches Hotel für Sportler, Genießer und vor allem Familien mit Kindern aller Altersklassen - Das Frühstück bietet wirklich alles, was man sich als Sportler oder Genießer wünscht. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, und obwohl es unser erster Aufenthalt war, haben wir uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die warme Atmosphäre trägt dazu bei, dass man sich schnell wie zu Hause fühlt. Besonders für Kinder ist das Hotel ideal. Auch die Menüs sind abwechslungsreich und hervorragend, es gibt sogar immer ein extra kleines Kinderbuffet – einfach ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Die Bibliothek mit Kinderbüchern ist eine ganz tolle Idee! Die Wassertemperatur im Hallenbad war für kleine Kinder etwas kühl. Eine Kindertoilette oder zumindest ein passender Sitz bei den großen WCs wäre hilfreich. Außerdem könnte der Fitnessraum etwas attraktiver gestaltet werden.

- Piotr (10/5): - Każdy gość miał przypisany stolik, ktory na niego czekał. Bardzo miła obsługa. Wiemy że są organizowane trekkingi z właścicielem ale niestety nie starczyło nam czasu. Piękna okolica, pozwala na odpoczynek a jednocześnie nie można się nudzić. Nic, wszystko było ok. Nie doczytaliśmy ze check in do 21:00 ale to nasza wina ze przyjechaliśmy po 24:00 i nie uprzedziliśmy. Mimo to zostaliśmy życzliwie przyjeci.

- Roxana (10/5): A perfect family vacation - I chose this location for the multitude of kids friendly activities available for our 2 and a half years old. I couldn’t have chosen better. The area is amazing, there are a lot of family suitable hikes to montain huts with playgrounds and petting zoos. The village itself has an amazing free of charge playground with miniature huts and even a pond. The hotel itself was perfect for families with an amazing playground and an indoor pool. Also, the room was very spacious either a large bed that fitted the 3 of us. Food at the restaurant was delicious and we could try many local foods. It’s true that not all of the staff speak English, but some of them do. Also all of them were extremely helpful and kind. This applies to hotels policies for toddlers in general. All of them provide a cot, but a stepping stool for the kid to reach the sink would be much more helpful.

- Sirius (8/5): Hiking summer - A very cozy hotel, beautiful interiors that emphasize the family continuity of management of this hotel. Great reception staff - the only ones who speak and understand languages other than German. Large rooms, comfortable mattresses (which I can't say about the pillows). Excellent breakfasts, where in addition to the buffet, you can order a hot dish. If you go to the mountains - the hotel gives you the opportunity to use hiking poles - priceless! Special thanks for this! There is also the possibility of a free group excursion, but if you do not speak German and do not want to wait for the group for 3 hours in the cafe at the top - I do not recommend it. There is a car parking. When check-in, you are offered to download a translator application. At first, this caused some confusion, but then it became clear that there is NO duplication of information in any language. Everything is written only in the local (German) language. Starting from the rules for using the spa, information in the room and ending with the menu for breakfast and lunch. This is extremely inconvenient. You will have difficulty ordering drinks for dinner or a hot meal for breakfast. You may not even know that you can order a hot meal for breakfast, because the information about it is somewhere near the entrance to the kitchen and is written only in German. Since you will be reading the menu through the phone screen using a translator program, it is easy to make a mistake with the choice of a dish. Not all of them are tasty and some have very peculiar combinations. There is no refrigerator in the room, no possibility to make tea or coffee.
- Paul (10/5): A Diamond in the Valley of Grossarl - Tony & Maria (senior) / Tony & Maria (junior) and their teams at Hotel Alte Post & all the staff who looked after us were amazing. The service was always personal and friendly, this is a huge bonus for the hotel and we'd go back there for that reason. We had half board. The breakfast was delicious & always fresh, new options everyday. We loved the dinners & the presentation of the food was first class and always tasty. The hotel have a great service using #WeShowYouTheMountains, if you sign up to their daily hikes you'll be driven to the start of the hike, and includes a guide from the hotel. The hikes offered opportunities to meet guests which worked well for us. The Spa is very impressive and a great place to relax after a day of hiking. Paul & Hans For us it was faultless. Wonderful staff, easy to interact with other guests, and nothing was a problem.
