• Andreas (10/5): - Nice hotel with a great price-value, right at the center in a former monastry. All attractions of the city centre are in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to complain.

We had to extend 1 more night because of the roadblock situation in La Paz and our tour got canceled but they were completely cool about that. Late check out is until 9pm which is very nice. Breakfast is a little poor. Milk tasted weird but breads were good.

• Bogdan (8/5): Ein einzigartiges und stilvolles Hotel, dessen Gesamterlebnis durch einige vermeidbare Schwächen leicht getrübt wurde. - Sehr schöne, große Zimmer mit einem besonderen Design. Das gesamte Interieur des Hotels wirkt wie ein kleines Museum und schafft eine einzigartige Atmosphäre – ideal für einen Aufenthalt von mehreren Tagen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Lage mit einfachem Zugang zu allen Teilen der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück hat Verbesserungspotenzial. Die Auswahl ist begrenzt und wiederholt sich, die geschnittenen Früchte sind sehr klein und Gemüse fehlt komplett. Das Brot war am ersten Tag nicht frisch. Der Kaffee – leider ein generelles Problem in Hotels in Bolivien und Chile – war sehr dünn und geschmacklos. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war die über das Hotel empfohlene Tour, die ich nicht weiterempfehlen kann. Ich rate, seriöse Agenturen direkt in der Stadt zu wählen, die mehr Sicherheit und Professionalität bieten. Insbesondere die Death Road Tour war enttäuschend: ungeeignete und abgenutzte Fahrräder, teilweise beschädigte Ausrüstung und nur wenige Stopps – insgesamt deutlich unter dem Niveau professioneller Anbieter. Eine Erfahrung, die mir den letzten Tag und die im Hotel aufgebaute Begeisterung verdorben hat.

• 宇晴 (9/5): 非常貼心的服務 - 位於市場的正中間，外面非常熱鬧，一樓是酒吧餐廳，我們的房間位於二樓，服務人員幫我們搬行李上去，非常感謝他。我們隔天凌晨要飛往uyuni，他協助我們預定凌晨的計程車，還幫我們打包本來包含在內的早餐，總體很貼心。

When we got down the cheese and ham plates were empty. We asked for the plates to be refilled, which took forever and then 10 half slices of ham and cheese were put out. There were 8 tiny pieces of pineapple on the “fruit plate”Considering it’s a buffet these meagre portions don’t last long. The next day there was no cheese, I asked for some and was eventually handed a plate with 15 .5 x .5xm cubes of cheese. Now I get that they don’t want to put too much food out and it go to waste, but don’t scrimp, it lets the hotel down.

• Ronald (10/5): Suffered from altitude sickness but the staff tried their best to help. - I suffered from altitude sickness when I arrived in La Paz. Fortunately, the staff was super helpful and offered me a relax place to rest. They also allowed us to check in early so we could get some sleep after an overnight flight. The place was cozy and tidy, and we could walk around and enjoy our time there.

• Morgan (8/5): Beautiful Hotel in the heart of La Paz - Centrally located in the heart of La Paz. From the outside it doesn't look special - easy to miss, but inside is a beautiful colonial style hotel. The rooms were spacious. I had an early flight so they arranged a taxi and a bagged breakfast to go. They also allowed me to store my luggage for a night when I went to Isla del Sol. Very nice experience. Staff also friendly and helpful. Bathroom in the room was quite small and their were no external facing windows - only on facing the lobby which didn't offer any privacy. Minor issues, however.

• doha (9/5): Parfait, je reviendrai. - Tout était super : le personnel/service, conseils pour explorer la ville. Le restaurant a un bon chef cuisinier. L'emplacement est central et à 15 et 20 mins de marche de stations du téléphérique ( ligne rouge et bleue). La chambre spacieuse, literie confortable,spacieuse douche. Le petit déjeuner est bien, il serait meilleur si le café était fait avec de meilleur graines, il manquait de saveur. Qualité du Wi-Fi assez faible. Mais ça semble être un problème dans la ville et non pas juste dans cet établissement.

• Imre (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of La Paz - Beautiful property close to Plaza San Francisco, the center. The staff is great, very helpful, very nice, not only they let us keep out luggages at the reception after check out but we could stay in the common spaces as well. No complaint for the breakfast either, it was really lovely. The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom is quite big too. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone who visits La Paz. There was nothing I didn’t like about it.

Easy access to city centre but quiet at night As it such an old building about 400 years old, the floorboards in our bedroom were a bit squeaky but only a minor inconvenience

La amabilidad de la mayoria del personal fue muy bueno incluyendo las chicas del desayuno. En general fue muy buena experiencia el ultimo cuarto en donde nos pasaron los ultimos dias, estaba muy frio por la noche y nos terminamos enfermando, solicitamos que si nos podian pasar a otro cuarto y nos dijeron que no.

• Kelly (9/5): Excellent value for exceptional experience - This hotel is in a beautiful centuries-old building and has so much character. Multiple patios and lounge areas with different decor. I stayed in two different rooms and both were comfortable and very quaint. Breakfast was great, and they packed me a lunch bag when I had to leave early in the morning. Location is easy walking distance to all the main tourist areas as well as the telefericos.

• Rhonda (10/5): Quaint Hotel for weary travelers - Patio de Piedra was everything we needed to acclimate to the high altitude in La Paz. Our room was clean and quiet on the second floor. The water pressure was good and water was hot for steamy showers. The breakfast had a good assortment of fresh mango, banana, watermelon, ham & cheese to go with the fresh rolls. Our host Karen allowed for a late checkout for a small amount since our overnight bus did not depart until 21:00. Everything was great.

• Allison (10/5): - Our room was super spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. We felt the property was very peaceful and quiet, even with its very central location. The staff are friendly and very helpful with anything you need. An airport transfer at 2.30am and late check-in was no issue for them. The property is walkable to many restaurants, shops, and tourist sites (like the witches market, main squares, and teleferico stations). I would definitely stay here again if returning to La Paz.

Everything looked clean, but you’re more sure it actually IS clean when decoration is more minimal, room is less overstuffed, and there aren’t so many places, so many corners, and so many items to clean. 2) Staff didn’t seem too bright, and it was a nightmare to pay with credit cards (though that seems to be “normal” in Bolivia. 3) wifi was sketchy and intermittent.

• John (8/5): Great location with accommodating staff. - Great location - in historic district walking distance to major sites: cathedral, market, witches' market. Staff was very accommodating. Historic, a bit quirky, with odd objects around the property. Breakfast was basic.
• Eckart (7/5): Schönes altes Haus mit Potential nach oben - Das Ambiente und die Lage ingesamt sind ziemlich gut. Der Kaffee und der Jugo zum Frühstück waren dünn und wässrig. Genauso wie die Drinks in der Bar. Weder Moscow Mule, noch Margarita oder Pisco Sour erweckten den Eindruck, dass die relevanten Spirituosen Teil des Drinks waren. Selbst der Kellner wollte die Marke des genutzten Piscos nicht nennen... Sehr bedenklich auch das Outfit des Perspnals zum Frühstück in einem alten kolonialen Haus. Sportbekleidung oder Jeansjacke mit Mütze zum Servieren geht gar nicht!
• Jiang (9/5): - The hotel decorations are great. The room is spacious and bedding are comfortable. We paid extra for early check in since our bus arrived around 7am, this helps a lot for us to take a shower and catch the breakfast. The early morning taxi was a bit expensive.
• isabelle (9/5): Parfait mis à part les odeurs - Le personnel à la réception charmant Chambre spacieuse mais ils avaient oublié de mettre une couverture en plus la 1ere nuit, j’ai eu un peu froid Le charme du lieu Au rez de chaussée de l’hôtel il y a un restaurant et le système d’extraction des odeurs de cuisine n’est pas très efficace et ça sent le graillon dans le restaurant et au 1 er étage. C’est dommage car le lieu a beaucoup de cachet.
