Guest Reviews
- Miriam (6/5): - La posizione Odore di chiuso e umidità.Il bagno è poco curato.
- Laura (4/5): - El pueblo es precioso !!!! Sucia!!
- Nuria (9/5): -
- Maria (8/5): - I liked it's location for the novelty value of living in Cudillero.
The owner was very attentive when we had any issues. Tbh it was pretty small - probably OK for two couples for a long weekend but anything longer would be very cramped. Particularly as there is a lot of steps internally also which I suppose can't be helped.
- Luca (8/5): - Great place. The host provided detailed instruction to reach the house and enter
Quizás no esperaba tantas escaleras.
- Reinhard (8/5): Staying in an old fishermen's house - We stayed at Casa la Vikinga for six nights. We enjoyed the special atmosphere of a nicely decorated old fishermen's house. The view down and up to other parts of Cudillero from the upper floor of the apartment is spectacular. The fact that car parking is in 800 m distance from the apartment actually matters only for check in and out. Communication with the host via E-mail was easy, the same is true for checking in (key box). A number of details in Casa la Vikinga need attention, such as: the light in the bathroom does not function properly, the head shower cannot be fixed, the freezer compartment of the fridge is completely frosted, the frying pan was damaged. Upon arrival we would have been really happy for some assistance in identifying the house within the admittedly spectacular labyrinth of stairs in Cudillero, e.g. a picture taken from the main square where the location of Casa la Vikinga is marked.
- Allison (10/5): Brilliant! Beautiful spot. - Quirky, plenty of space, great views Nothing, all good. But be aware all accommodation in Cudillero is up a lot of steps. We left our cases in the car and just took what we needed up.
- Raul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abe (7/5): Change the door lock. - The door lock 🔒 needs to be change.
We had to wait for the property owner to opened the door for us.
- Pak (10/5): Great apartment in a pretty fishing village - A great host. Although it was a key safe entry and remote check in when we had a slight issue, we called the host and he arrived within 5 minutes and sorted it. A really pretty apartment on the hillside/harbour side in a pretty fishing village. Nicely decorated and furnished throughout, comfortable and clean. Nice views out of the living room windows. Quiet. Good facilities. Just above the main restaurant/bar shopping area - a short walk up some hillside stairs and within 5 minutes walk of the harbour side, so very convenient As well as being part of it's charm the steep but short walk up the stairs to get to the property from the restaurant/bar/harbour side maybe difficult for some people who are elderly or have mobility issues.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - Lovely example of local life in Cudillero. Beautifully decorated apartment, views across town and a couple of minutes down to the centre. We were warm and comfortable. Small but functional bathroom with old well that was very interesting (covered safely so no danger at all). Kitchen well-stocked and enough space for four. Lots of sun in the afternoon. You'll need to park near the marina and walk up, check which way is best to arrive via as it's a bit of a detour to change. As this is an old house on a steep hillside it comes with its charms - steep steps, low roof, small double bed in the second bedroom. Please make sure this is right for you before booking.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xhoa (8/5): Very good accommodation in central location - Perfect location. Nice views from the windows. Kitchen well equipped. Towels provided. Loved the board games.
- Tom (9/5): Great place to stay Cuddilero was a treasure - Brillaint quirky accomodation - really neat place It would have been helpful to be told that you cant get a car anywhere near and that its up steep steps
- David (10/5): Exceptional - A really nicely decorated house with beautiful views of Cudarella.
It looked nice in the pictures but was even better in real life
It's very close to the restaurants and bars in the town - but there are lots of stairs to get to the place, so might be tricky for older people/people with mobility problems. It's worth the effort though!
- Yiannis (9/5): A beautiful and cosy house with an immaculate view of the town of Cudillero - All I can say is that we wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were large and comfy and the living room of the house has an immaculate view of the town of Gudillero. Claudia greeted us warmly and said a few things about the town and the well that is found in the bathroom. Such a hidden gem. It was absolutely flawless and a breath away from the main square of the town and the visitor's parking lot Very minor thing; too many stairs on the way there, so don't bring large suitcases. That goes for every accommodation in Cudillero though so get ready for some cardio exercise
- Patricia (9/5): Lovely stay in quaint town of Cudillero - Views, use of washer, confortable bed Bathroom in lower floor with marble stairs can be challenging for older people!
