Erik (10/5): Ein Haus mit Seele, Gastgeber mit Herz – der beste Aufenthalt meiner bisherigen Reisen. - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mein bester Aufenthalt – bisher. Und ich meine das ohne jede Übertreibung. Aurélie und Benjamin haben dieses Haus aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert vor ein paar Jahren gekauft und in einen echten Liebesbeweis verwandelt. Die beiden belgischen Biologen haben jahrelang, aufwendig restauriert – im Stil der 1920er Jahre – und man spürt das in jedem Detail: die original Weingläser aus den Zwanzigern, der Plattenspieler der abends Klassik durch die hohen Räume schickt, die geschwungene Treppe, die Mosaikböden, die Bronzestatuen. Nichts ist Dekoration um der Dekoration willen – alles hat eine Geschichte. Casa Don Eliseo hat acht Zimmer und eine Dachterrasse, die einem den Atem verschlägt. Das Abendessen: 3 Gänge, regionale Küche auf höchstem Niveau – ich wusste ernsthaft nicht, welcher Gang der beste war. Dazu eine feine Auswahl regionaler Weine und handverlesener Craftbiere. Das Frühstück unbedingt dazubuchen. Punkt. Und dann ist da noch die Geschichte des Hauses selbst – aber die möchte ich nicht spoilern. Lasst euch das von Aurélie und Benjamin erzählen. Es lohnt sich.

Maria (10/5): Einzigartiges Haus mit viel Geschichte, liebevoll erzählt - Ein super geschmackvoll restauriertes Haus, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zahlreiche Kunstwerke, Antiquitäten und dabei haben die beiden sehr herzlichen Gastgeber sich größte Mühe gegeben, alles passend zueinander zu dekorieren. Jeder Raum ist individuell eingerichtet und erzählt eine Geschichte. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt und spontan unseren Aufenthalt verlängert. Dafür wurden wir belohnt mit einem wunderbaren Gourmet-Abendessen mit frischen, lokalen Zutaten und einer guten Weinselektion. Das Frühstück überzeugt mit vielen hausgemachten Spezialitäten wie den hervorragenden Marmeladen und frischen Croissants. Wer etwas Zeit hat, sollte sich unbedingt von den Besitzern die spannende Geschichte des Hauses erzählen und zeigen lassen. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden, einfach perfekt

JUAN SALVADOR (10/5): Un lugar para volver. - Una casa preciosa, rehabilitada con un exquisito gusto, muy acogedora y con unos anfitriones encantadores (Aureli y Benjamin). Volvemos deseando repetir, no solo por lo increíble del entorno, sino también por la agradable estancia que hemos tenido en este alojamiento: habitaciones tematizadas y muy confortables, edificio señorial con un interesante pasado, … y una cena y desayuno buenísimos!!!

Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible place to stay. Impeccable, beautiful house throughout. We stayed in a lovely, large cave room with a great bathroom and shower design. The food from dinner and breakfast was excellent, thoughtfully presented, plentiful and homemade cooking using local ingredients. The hosts were fantastic and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the place and looking at the restoration project book. Very talented couple and we feel fortunate to have found this place to stay. Nothing!

Aurelie and Ben are amazing hosts and cooks (do stay for dinner and breakfast!). All in all one of the highlights of our holiday and a one of a kind hotel. Nothing
Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional overnight stay - From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were in awe of this amazing accommodation. The hosts were super attentive and welcoming, the food was amazing, plentiful and of gourmet quality and the facilities were very well thought out with a huge amount of attention to detail in every single room, and I'm not just referring to the bedrooms. The passion the hosts have for what they have created is very easy to see and they are quite rightly very proud of this. The tour of the property is certainly worth doing as each room is individual and there's even a mini museum! We were lucky enough to go out on a tour of the local geo park and learnt so much about the areas history and flora & fauna. This is more than just accommodation, it is an entire experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and hope to return to in the future. Nothing.
