Le Carmen est bien placé pour visiter Grenade a mi chemin entre l'albaicin et l'alhambra. La vue est superbe. La cuisine dispose d'un équipement suffisant pour une cuisine rapide et il y avait coca/bière/café/huile...bref tout le nécessaire. Le logement était un peu humide le 1er jour . Il y a des puits de lumière donc nous sommes réveillés par la lumière du jour.

She is a darling, instantly made u feel welcome,shared all the good spots and routes and in-fact let us take some Oranges and Lemons from her courtyard. Property is old but very well maintained especially the Courtyard .We had a wonderful stay. The location is spot on ..10 mins walk to Alhambra and 15 min towards the center.

Sehr schöne kleine Terrasse mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf Granada. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete kleine gemütliche Wohnung. Das Auto findet auch einen Platz in der Garage direkt beim Apartment. Äußerst aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber. Klare Empfehlung für zwei bis drei Personen, zu viert wird das Schlafsofa für zwei Erwachsene ggf. etwas knapp.

• Amanda (9/5): A very special place in the stunning city of Granada - Victoria contacted us prior to arrival to confirm arrival details and answer any questions we had. It was obvious from that point that this was host who cares about her guests. She was flexible and made sure she was available at our requested check in time. The property itself is breathtaking. Staying in the guest room here feels more like staying with friends. Beautifully decorated and equipped, it maintains the overall character of the Carmen. Shower is excellent and nice touches like a Nespresso machine (with pods!) microwave and fully equipped kitchen. Room is spacious, but it’s worth noting there is only a small window, skylights and a front door for natural light in the room and I would say this is a huge benefit in the warmer summer months. The terrace area offers breathtaking views of Granada, and it’s a treat to just sit and enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. Location is excellent, central Granada is a 5 minute walk, and the Alhambra is walkable. Remember, you’re on a hill, these views don’t come without a little bit of a walk, but it’s worth it! Victoria’s recommendations are wonderful, and kindly curated. Overall, if you want an authentic, unique stay with truly welcoming, caring hosts, this is the place for you!

The location is perfect — quiet and beautiful, yet an easy and lovely walk into the city centre, and only a 10-minute walk to the Alhambra. Everything was just as described and we couldn’t fault it at all. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

They had prepared a list of restaurants, things to do, etc. and checked in by text regularly to see if there was anything we needed. The property was amazing and it felt like we were living in an Andalusian home. The outdoor living space and pool for guests were beautiful, private, had a variety of flowers and other vegetation, and offered a breathtaking view of Granada. The apartment was nice and had everything we needed from coffee to tea to beer to water...and a comfortable bed. We could write so much more about how wonderful it is. It was like a small space of paradise and we would definitely stay there again! We highly recommend Carmen de Belen for your stay! Loved it all!

• Ariana (9/5): Wonderful short stay - Our priority was to reach la Alhambra early on foot, and this house is 10 min away from the main entrance. They are gorgeous premises and you get to rent a small apartment with parking within the lot. The owners are super nice and that makes it extra special.

They were easy to contact and arrange our arrival. The home is beautiful with stunning views and the studio apartment was good. We appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee and beverages. We'll definitely return again soon. The hot water lasted only 5 minutes perhaps the gas bottle was running low.

Gorgeous Views of valley and sunset, lovely friendly helpful host, interesting heritage property must have been really something in its heyday - and very good to have free parking!! Great location just below the Alhambra. Perfect for a couple. Clean and well appointed. Many buses to hop on near by! We were here in November - so outdoor areas less usable but in summer would be very appreciated ( little pool) A bit dank, couch not facing the tv and it was uncomfortable, no oven just an induction plate, some loose fixtures in bathroom, general aura of decay - we didn’t mind the steps but take heed if you have mobility issues

Nous avions prévu d'aller au restaurant et au hamman, mais le lieu était tellement beau que nous avons préféré la piscine et un souper sur la terrasse au coucher du soleil. Der Garten und der Ausblick auf Granada sind wirklich grandios! Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und geben Tipps und helfen umgehend, wenn etwas nicht passt. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist im Vergleich zur sonstigen Qualität noch steigerbar (Induktion s.o., nur 1 Weinglas da..)

Muchos niveles y terrazas , de una vista maravillosa de Granada antigua con sus típicos tejados , con el sistema de fuentes muy similares a la Ahlambra y sus verdes jardines. Una decoración de exteriores de época . Muy bella . Los departamentos también están decorados exquisitamente con detalles de época y otros modernos. Pero lo que más me gustó fue la atención de Victoria quien se adelantó en presentarse , al llegar al lugar además de mostrar las instalaciones nos dio una pequeña charla del estilo del lugar y nos dio concejos para visitar y de gastronomía. • PeterBrebels (10/5): Charmant en uniek verblijf! - Unieke belevenis op een perfecte locatie (wandelafstand vd Alhambra en historisch centrum). Het uitzicht is top. Het zwembad is een aangename verfrissing. De communicatie met de host verliep zeer vlot. Vanuit het historische centrum is het een stevige klim maar er is een bushalte op 50 meter van het verblijf, zo gemakkelijk!! Niets. Of misschien een parasol aan het zwembad als we echt een detail moeten geven.

Prima appartement; de tuin, het uitzicht vanaf het terras en het kleine zwembad maken dat je de hele dag wilt blijven genieten. We hebben genoten!

Wonderful views in heart of Carmen area. Hosts friendly. Attractive garden. Parking inside for a large car. Not so convenient to get to space as there are many steps to the accommodation. If you have mobility issues this could be challenging. Limit your Luggage to go to space. Otherwise a privilege to stay in this location with fabulous views of the city and take in the history.
• James (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay in Grsnada - This is an excellently located property a few minutes from the Alhambra on foot and about 10 minutes walking to the bustling city centre with it’s amazing selection of restaurants. The hostess could not have been more helpful. She sorted out me leaving a phone in a taxi and got it returned. Amazing The room which is like a studio flat is cool when hot and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The views across the city are astonishing and you can use the small pool or sit out on your own little terrace. You can park in their garage too. All in all a wonderful place to stay in a city we fell in love with Not about disliking. If you have mobility problems there are several steps to negotiate

It is a beautiful place with a lovely view of the city from above, especially during the glorious sunset on the terrace while enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. • Linda (10/5): Grand Granada! - We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Carmen de Belen in Granada. Mariano welcomed us and gave us great suggestions for our stay. Victoria also communicated with us about any questions we had. She was so kind and helpful in assisting with all our needs. The studio apartment is tucked away in a quiet spot, near the Alhambra, but to get there, you must be able to walk up and down a few stairs, but it is so worth it! There's an outdoor setting to enjoy the afternoon sun and a magnificent view of Granada. The studio itself is like a mini home with the most comfortable bed that we have had on our Spanish travels. It is decorated in a very homely way and has plenty of space for a couple. The kitchen is equipped with what you need if you like having a few meals at home, such as breakfast. We loved having the coffee machine for that first cup of the day! The bathroom is compact and has a fabulous shower. Besides the studio, Granada itself is a delight. There are lots of tourists, but that's okay because the Alhambra is so magnificent . There are a multitude of restaurants, and Sacramento has great views and a very informative cave museum Everything was good!

• Estepar (10/5): Charming studio apartment in historic Carmen of Granada. - The rental is a studio in the garden of the Carmen. Very clean and comfortable, very tranquil. The garden has lovely views over Granada. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We were attending a concert in The Manuel de Falla Auditorium and the location was super convenient for visiting it, within walking distance. It would also be convenient for visiting the Alhambra. The circular Alhambra bus route is also close by which would give easy access to the centre of Granada. A short walk away is the Realejo district which shops, bars and restaurants. I think it would be useful to say in the property description that it would not be suitable for someone with limited mobility since there are several exterior stairs to negotiate.
• Carolyn (9/5): Super studio apartment with views and walkable to the Alhambra Palace - A very cute apartment in a stunning location! The views across Granada and various mountains from the terrace are wonderful, with a stunning sunset. The apartment is part of a historic property built on the hillside with many original and features across the terraces. It's 9 minutes walk uphill to the Alhambra entrance (for pre-purchased tickets) and around 12-15 minutes downhill to the old town and cathedral with many super eateries and touristy shops. There is one secure parking spot on the apartment premises, off the narrow street, which we just fit into in our large car. The apartment is a traditionally-styled studio with kitchenette and sliding door to shower room, with heating / aircon. All clean, comfortable, and as seen in the photos. We were greeted and introduced to the building by Victoria, she made sure everything went well for us during our stay and gave us recommendations and useful information. There was nothing we didn't like for a two-day stay and everything is as described.

• Jessy (10/5): It’s really worth and should stay for 2 nights! The owner family is so kind and warm! - The sunset view is so beautiful and you can’t imagine you staying in the garden with view and swimming pool.
• Vlatka (10/5): Beautiful place for a great experience - This place is a real gem! You’ll find everything you need - even a sun hat or an umbrella. The place looks a bit older on the photos, but most of the stuff are new, and the ones that are old, are there on purpose. Plant lovers, you are in for a treat with the lovely garden. The owners are super nice and helpful. The location is superb.
• Valentin (10/5): City-view of Granada from a very elegant Carmen - I'll start with the bonus item - the hosts provide a parking place for cars no taller than 1.80m, and that really is a bonus in Granada (and in other parts of Anadalusia too) where it's pretty difficult to find a parking spot. The room is large enough and you can find all that you need inside, the value of this accommodation is very good, quite rare actually. The hosts have been very friendly and they've helped us with tips and places to eat and drink in the city. Then, last but not least, the property as a whole is a real gem: you have a beautiful terraced garden that is rich in history, you have a pool that could fit some travelers when it's warm outside, you have a separate terrace with a nice city-view to drink your coffee or tea in the morning and you also have Alhambra at about 400m away from this property.
