• orceane (8/5): - L'hôtel est au centre du village. La chambre est grande. Le petit dej est complet et bon. On ne peut pas ouvrir la fenêtre de la salle de bain pour aéré. Manque un peu d'endroit pour étendre la serviette.

• Jakob (7/5): Brauchbar für Menschen mit niedrigen Ansprüchen. - Der Pool, die zentrale Lage und das sehr freundliche Personal. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer in einem hat es ständig nach Kloake gerochen.
• Simone (5/5): Unterkunft war zweckmäßig. Gerne wieder dann aber nur mit Dollars - Lage, Pool, war sauber Mussten wesentlich mehr bezahlen da wir keine Dollar dabei hatten sondern nur Colones. Uns wurde erzählt der Wechselkurs von 500 wäre normal hier. Stimmte nicht! Ob im Supermarkt oder auch andere Unterkünfte war es 440.

• IVANNIA (10/5): Conexión - La experiencia en Tortuguero fue realmente inigualable, la ubicación de la Casona es perfecta, está en el centro del pueblo y cerca de todo, la paz y la tranquilidad que se respira en este lugar es como para quedarte allí para siempre. David es un apasionado de su trabajo y un gran conocedor de la naturaleza. Su atención y la de su madre te hacen sentir parte de la familia. Muchas gracias.

• ivan (8/5): Muy bien en general - Todo bastante bien en general, la habitacion es simple, no esperes lujos, pero esta muy bien en general. Es uno de los pocos hoteles con piscina de tortuguero, y aunque solo sea para un chapuzon se agradece tenerla por si acaso. En principio nada, en general estaba todo bastante bien.

• Erik (6/5): Op zich prima, omdat de meeste van je activiteiten zich buiten de lodge afspelen. - De ligging, net buiten de drukte van het dorp en vlak bij de zee. Mooi zwembad. Vaak geen personeel aanwezig, niks te eten of te drinken te krijgen. Niet heel slecht, maar niet goed onderhouden en toch wel vergane glorie. Het kan een fantastische plek zijn met wat aandacht van de eigenaren. Kleinigheidje, de föhn werkte niet.

• Maria (6/5): Var ikke særlig imponeret - Pool området var fint. Ligger kun et par minutters gang fra hovedgaden. Fin fælles tagterrasse. Uhensigtsmæssigt at stedet kun tager imod kontanter i en by som ikke har hæveautomater. Manglede en elkoger og køleskab på værelset. Stedet virkede øde og lukket med slukket lys i bar og receptions området. Damerne som lavede morgenmad og gjorde rent virkede sure og meget lidt imødekommende.

• serge (1/5): Hôtel à éviter. - Emplacement, piscine et animaux dans le jardin. Avant d’arriver, nous sommes prévenus que nous devons payer en cash. Pour la première fois, les passeports ne sont pas réclamés. Dans la chambre, pas de table, de chaise, d’armoire, etc… deux serviettes de toilettes pour trois adultes. Au petit déjeuner, pas de jus de fruits et un choix très limité.
• Erika (8/5): Leuk hotel met prima tours en zwembad - Perfecte locatie tussen het strand en de winkelstraat, dichtbij restaurantjes en de boten. Heerlijk zwembad! Vriendelijk personeel en goede gidsen voor de turtletour en de boottocht.Hou bij de turtletour rekening met een flinke wandeling van een ongdveef 1,5 / 2 kilometer over vlak terrein voor je bij dat strand bent. Maar heel bijzonder om mee te maken! 😃 Bedden sliepen goed. In de vroege avond was er geen koffie te krijgen
• Nataliia (8/5): Ok stay - Swimming pool area and hammock area were very nice. We were lucky to get a day with nice weather and managed to enjoy both. The room met the expectations as the photos were actually very close to what one can see in reality. The room is basic, but has some storage space, working AC. There is a soap in the bathroom, but no shampoo or shower gel. Hot water was hot :), no issues with that. Residential iguanas also bring additional charm to the place. The place is connected with the tour agency Roots, where we ordered transfers and tours and that worked well for us. Wi-fi worked with interruptions in the room, a bit better in the common area. The bed was leaning to one side.

Es una excelente profesional que se preocupa por los huéspedes y que hizo que tuviéramos una estancia perfecta. Le agradecemos la ayuda que nos prestó para realizar las gestiones de traslado. Es una persona amable y encantadora. La habitación, piscina y desayuno muy bien.

Angeles (3/5): No volvería - La ubicación,aunque en Google nos hicimos la idea de que tenía vistas y está encajado en una zona que no se ve nada El aspecto en general es de abandonado, aunque tiene piscina con tumbonas no invita a usarlo, porque están muy sucias y la vegetación invade todo ,pasa lo mismo en la zona para tomar algo ,está todo muy viejo .No hay artículos de aseo solo dos pastillas de jabón, y las toallas muy viejas. Aunque tengo en cuenta que es Tortuguero, no quita para que se pueda tener todo más curioso. Él desayuno no está mal,pero la atención no era muy buena. En la web sale fotos de comidas con muy buena pinta y eso deberían actualizarlo , porque el restaurante esta cerrado al menos cuando estuvimos nosotros, aunque digo lo mismo tampoco hubiera invitado a estar por que se ve todo muy dejado,al igual que la parte de arriba que tienen para estar.

Un poco pesados con que nos cogiéramos las actividades con ellos, que al final es lo que uno suele hacer pero en realidad no deberían ser tan insistentes...

• Blanca (5/5): - La.piscina Los sitios comunes, el.ruido (estaban en obras), de las 4 habitaciones que cogimos sólo 1 era de tamaño bueno. El resto eran muy pequeñas. No tienen ni un sitio para dejar la maleta , ni una percha. Ni jabón ni champú . El.desayuno caro para lo que te dan.
• Sergio (10/5): Oasis con piscina por un precio asequible - La piscina es grande y la mantienen limpia. Las habitaciones están limpias y hay un bar donde sirven cócteles. Es tranquilo y no hay gente haciendo bulla. Está a dos pasos del embarcadero y a otros dos de la playa. Ubicación ideal. Además la recepcionista Priscila y todo el resto de personal nos trataron increíble. Volveremos!

• Pablo (6/5): Nice cozy place.. - Friendly staff. Nice pool. Clean. AC. There were constructions going on in the building and they woke us up really early and the ladies were speaking outside the door really loudly. We wanted to rest more but it was impossible.
• Dafne (7/5): Great pool and staff, room not so great - The staff and the pool (with resident iguanas) we're the best bits. They helped us organize all our tours with Costa Rican tours and we were very happy with them. Breakfast was simple but good. We may have been unlucky as we got a room near reception with no outdoor space, but it was quite noisy and there was no space whatsoever where to hang dump or wet clothes - something essential in a place where it rains all the time. Also, the beds weren't very comfortable.

• Jordan (7/5): - Swimming pool, hammocks and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They are linked to Roots tours and we thought the tours with this company were absolutely fantastic. Can highly recommend as their knowledge was just brilliant. The area is on side of football field a few mins from the beach and a few minutes from the main port. Easy to get to all food and bars. This is ideal and a good position to be in but also has its drawbacks. The garden was overgrown and you couldn’t really sit on the sun beds. There is a sandy area where you can sit but it just doesn’t look inviting it all. No safety deposit box in room, a local bar played loud music (and I don’t think it’s about the location because we walked though the main strip after a turtle tour 10pm and it was so quiet). Tortuguero is a place to stay for a maximum of 2-3nights.

Would stay again. - A tiny bit sceptic given previous comments for example regarding the pool, I must say that we were overall fully happy! Expecting a rather simple, yet clean room - expectations fulfilled. The room very ok regarding cleanliness, beds, air conditioning. The pool in very good state. All staff very kind. The hang-out area on the upper floor very nice giving a bit of hostel feeling... All in all a 'very good' = 8/10 experience. We were happy! - only point to state is that noise protection is limited and plans to hang out in the evening or to get up in the morning may differ from guest to guest.
• Juliana (8/5): - Die Lage ist super, auch der Pool war toll! Wir durften nicht ins Meer, da die Strömungen dort zu stark sind, konnten uns dann super im Pool erfrischen. David ist gleichzeitig auch Tourguide sodass wir direkt vor Ort bei ihm Touren buchen konnten. Er hat uns auch den Bootstransfer hin und zurück organisiert und sichergestellt dass alles reibungslos funktioniert! Sehr hilfreich!

• Daria (6/5): - Nada en particular No me ha gustado que el hotel envíe mensajes indicando que no tomemos otros barcos en La Pavona que no sean los que ellos recomiendan, ni contratemos tours con otras agencias. Al llegar, la recepcionista volvió a preguntarnos con quién habíamos viajado y si queríamos reservar excursiones con ellos. Además, la habitación triple superior me pareció muy cara para lo que ofrece.

• Sigal (9/5): Zentrale Unterkunft im Grünen - Die Lage ist top. Etwas abseits der Touristen und doch sehr zentral umgeben von tropischen Pflanzen und Tieren. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Aktivitäten die wir mit David gemacht haben waren gut geplant. Er hat ein unglaubliches Wissen und war sehr bemüht uns Tortugueros Tierwelt näher zu bringen, auch wenn uns beim Kanuausflug das Wetter einen Strich durch sie Rechnung gemacht hat. Ablagefläche im Zimmer und im Bad sind rar. Ein paar Hake mehr wäre nicht schlecht. Ist aber meckern auf hohem Niveau.

• Julian Mowl (3/5): Poorly maintained and disappointing property - Quiet location with close location for the beach and town. Extremely helpful when we arrived with booking tours and booking a water taxi to the property for us. Convenient pool to cool down in and hammocks to relax. The rooms are dark, dingy, damp and musty. Bathrooms are cold, with no hot water at all. There was no storage in the rooms as well. We found the beds uncomfortable and the general surroundings were poorly maintained and door locks were easy to break. The staff that took care of our breakfast were generally uninterested and did the bare minimum to provide any service.

Very pretty setting, lovely garden and nice pool to relax in. We got to pre order our breakfast and it was freshly prepared by the staff, who are very friendly. The rooms are basic but comfy.

Buena ubicación - La ubicación cerca del embarcadero era perfecta, también estaba muy cerca de la calle principal donde estaban todas las oficinas de tours y restaurantes Cuando nos abrieron la habitación olía fatal a humedad. El desayuno no fue ninguna maravilla, y quisimos tomarnos un café sobre las 3pm y el chico nos dijo que no nos lo podía poner.

• Enza (8/5): Overall it was a very comfortable stay, close to the main dock where most of the activities/tours leave from. - It was well located and had a little pool (even though we couldn’t use it because it rained so much). Also nice was the common area with hammocks and some board games. We stayed 2 nights but they only changed the towels and didn’t make the bed, which was a bit odd.
• Esther (8/5): Muy recomendable y buena ubicación - La verdad que todo. El personal es encantador y el hotel está muy bien ubicado. A 1 minuto de la playa y la piscina en el mismo hotel. Que en 4 días no nos hicieron la habitación ningún día excepto en un momento puntual que pedimos que pasaran la fregona.

• Yulitza (9/5): Pura Vida en La Casona... - Recomendable al 100%, el trato insuperable, siempre estuvimos en contado directo con David (persona super cercana, profesional (hicimos un tour con él en Canoa y fue genial), atento y comprometido en hacernos sentir muy bien). Tuvo el detalle de invitarnos el desayuno (no lo teníamos contratado). Sin duda vuelvo a Tortuguero y estará nuevamente en La Casona...

• candi (10/5): Pura Vida a la Casona! - Hotelet amb habitacions grans i ben decorades (hem estat a la doble superior i a la triple contigua del pis de dalt). Molt ben situat al centre del poble i a 1 minut del moll. Piscina fantàstic i personal super amable i atent. Hem fet tambe les excursions amb roots i molt bé. No us oblideu de provar els fantàstics cocktails! El Pura Vida i el Piña Colada!Tortuguero ens ha fascinat i quan tornem ho farem a la casona! Gracias David por tu hospitalidad! No hi ha armaris a les habitacions però hi ha un banc per deixar la maleta a la doble i una taula a la triple.
• Sonia (9/5): - Nous avons adoré l'emplacement de ce lodge, près de l'embarcadère, de l'entrée du parc et des restaurants. Nous avons pu tout réserver par eux: le bateau depuis la pavona, les différentes activités, et qqn est même venu nous chercher à notre arrivée en bateau.

• Els (9/5): Geweldig! - Leuk zwembad. Goede ligging, in het midden van het dorp, maar in een zijstraatje, echt rustig. Lekkere cocktails en pannenkoeken voor de kinderen!, De moeite die ze gedaan hebben voor de attentie voor de verjaardag van onze dochter die 12 jaar werd was echt heel fijn. De eigenaar David heeft blijkbaar ook Roots, die tours en excursies organiseren. Wij werden aan de boot als we toekwamen al ontvangen door Fabian, zijn medewerker. De ochtend kano tour met Fabian van Roots was ook super. Echt de moeite om te boeken! Koud water in de douche, enkel ‘s morgens was er warm water. Dat warme water om te douchen missen we hier toch!

• González Bolaños (10/5): No dejes pasar la oportunidad de hospedarte en este lugar - El personal es lo mejor. Nos recibieron antes del check in y nos dejaron ingresar en la habitación, hasta pudimos escoger cuál preferíamos. La gente súper simpática y amable, el chico del bar muy atento, resolvió nuestras necesidades. Los tragos deliciosos a buen precio, la habitación súper cómoda tiene lo necesario, la piscina es un plus y el aire acondicionado. Queda Justo en el centro del pueblo, muy cerca de restaurantes DELICIOSOS. En el segundo piso del hotel hay unas sillas y hamacas, en nuestro caso pudimos ver un partido de sóftbol aficionado mientras aprovechamos la happy hour del bar. De verdad un 10, altamente recomendado. Realmente no tengo queja alguna. Podría sugerir una mini refrigeradora en la habitación.

Zentral gelegen, nettes Personal, Happy hour, usw. Einfach super toll! Muchas Gracias Nachts leider etwas laut durch eine Art Diskothek / Bar in unmittelbarer Nähe. Was hat das im Naturschutzgebiet zu suchen? Kühlschrank wäre schon gewesen.

• Astrid (8/5): Freundlicher Gastgeber - Wir wurden schon vor Ankunft kontaktiert ,um am La Pavona Hafen den richtigen Parkplatz und das Taxiboot zu nehmen.Bei Ankunft in Tortuguero wurden wir abgeholt . Hübscher Pool und Leguane gratis.😜 Leider fanden kleinere Bauarbeiten statt,die doch etwas störend waren.Insgesamt könnte man alles noch besser pflegen.

• Cécile (9/5): Super expérience ! - Petit hôtel très agréable, dans le centre du village de Tortuguero, avec piscine. Personnel très sympa et aidant pour l’organisation des visites et activités à Tortuguero.
