• Marie (7/5): Schöner Ausblick, aber alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen - -Ausblick war top. -Es gab einen Pool. -Gastgeberin war nett, auch wenn wir nach 5-stündiger Anfahrt nicht mehr so gesprächig waren. -Zimmer war sehr einfach, was für uns grundsätzlich ok war, allerdings hat uns die Klimaanlage gefehlt - der Ventilator war leider nicht wirklich effektiv. -Nachts war es ziemlich laut, da die Fensterscheiben unglaublich dünn waren -Wir hätten uns einen kleinen Sitzbereich vor unsem Zimmer gewünscht, wie es eigentlich auch auf Booking.com angegeben war. So mussten wir uns immer unten an den Pool setzen, während die Nachbarzimmer alle Sitzgelegenheiten hatten. -Das Frühstück war zwar lecker, aber zum Teil echt wenig -Der Strand war nicht fußläufig erreichbar, was uns bei der Buchung nicht ganz klar war, aber das war vlt such unser Fehler. Im Nachhinein würden wir lieber etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen und dafür einen Strand in der Nähe haben, da man in Costa Rica eh schon so viel im Auto sitzt.

• Andrew (9/5): High up views with a good breakfast - The location is excellent with breathtaking views over the Pacific and Ossa Peninsular with birds and other animals around the property. We had the view from our room. Breakfast was typical Costa Rican and done very well. The road to the property is steep and rough - needs a 4x4 or at least something with good ground clearance.

Olyan nem volt, de a teljes kényelemhez szükséges az autó . Ugyan nem a szállás hibája, de a hegy tövében húzódó autóúton száguldó kamionok időnként zajosak.

Sie gab uns Tipps für die besten Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der Gegend und zeigte uns die Tiere und Pflanzen in Ihrem wundervollen Garten. Der Eingangsbereich mit der kleinen Küche und Bar ist eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, um mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch zu kommen und wir haben drei wunderschöne Abende hier verbracht! Nichts.

• Savannah (10/5): It was the best stay we could've asked for the celebrate our anniversary. - The location was just perfect. The rooms are fantastic and have great views, there were sloths and multiple packs of monkeys living on the hillside outback, the food at their kitchen was exceptional, and the staff were both very outgoing and kind and incredibly accommodating. The only complaint that I have is that the water pressure in the shower was inconsistent, but otherwise it was a fantastic stay, especially for the price.

Rien à signaler mais attention internet très lent voir inexistant, donc excellent pour être tranquilles.

• John (10/5): Great stay! I was there for a week. - What made the stay particularly memorable was my interactions with the owner, who also runs the hotel on a daily basis. She has much experience with the area and was a great info. source besides being very pleasant to talk with. The location was great for me: 1) excellent view of the ocean/river, 2) a 5 minute drive down to the beach just below the hotel for sunsets and some authentic Tico vibes; food was good too at the beach shacks, 3) my room had a good breeze through it and that with a ceiling fan kept it cool for sleeping. Note: the beach for sunsets is not a swimming beach since it is also the mouth of the river (crocodiles). But there is a beach across the river that is quite nice. You pay a Tico a few bucks to take you there and back. The hotel is located close to some great attractions: Mangrove Tour in Sierpe (must do if you want to see animals) and there are tours to Corcovado available (by boat). Restaurants in the area are quite good too. There was some road noise from the big trucks in morning but it didn't bother me.

It's probably rustic compared to most places in the states, so make sure the expectations match the region. The pool has a view over the ocean, yet is surrounded by trees. There is facility to make a meal. Breakfast was made to order, and we really enjoyed all the bird and wildlife easily seen here.

A flock of scarlet macaws flew right over me while I was sipping the fresh brewed coffee that was provided. Owner was lovely. We are a couple in our 60’s and stayed one night - happened to be a Friday night so ate dinner at The Bamboo Room for live music just up the street. This was a convenient location and we enjoyed our stay very much. Spiral stairs to our room were slightly inconvenient
