- Kevin (10/5): Amazing - Kita city is a beautiful area of Tokyo and the place is close to two train stations. The beds were comfortable, there was an in house laundry and even kitchen area. Not really a negative but it’s a very quaint residential area so you have to be quiet around the house and neighborhood.

- Sarah (8/5): Loved it - We loved Jujo, the location was amazing such a cute place definitely stay here only two stops away from Shinjuku. The host is fantastic 10/10 - house is great
Love the projector was so cozy Was a tad dusty and not overly clean for Japan standards but definitely still stay here :)

- Shrestha (8/5): -
- Maria (10/5): Short walk to many stations that can take you to other parts of Tokyo; Walking distance to markets - Everything we need was available, including quick tips from our host when asking where to go, or where things are None
- Nur Maisarah (10/5): I love the house, the area, the stay.. i will repeat here… - I love the area.. just around the Islamic Bangladesh community. 3 halal store nearby. Nothing much.. maybe just about the room fitted with 2 queen bed? It much better with 1 queen bed only, and just left some futton in the wardrobe
- Ross (9/5): Super value, fantastic location, Lovely Host- highly recommend this place. - The house was clean with not much clutter.
Koharu was amazing, keeping in touch from the moment we booked the place until we left.
The location was very convenient with two train lines, way less than 1km away.
The beds were incredibly comfortable- slept like a log.
I would highly recommend to explore the local area- when you walk out the door go right & you will wind your way to an amazing shopping area filled with locals.
Quiet neighbourhood - except for this one guy who leaves to work around 5:30am racing through the tiny street on his motorbike 😄
We were a 6 party group & we survived well!! As we had 6 of us- all family, it was a bit of a squeeze. But we handled it well.
The restroom was very small- bad backs and larger persons will battle using the toilet.
Steep staircase to the rooms above.
Walls are thin - you can hear the neighbours talking. But it’s Japan, everyone is very respectful and quiet.
You need to walk 75 metres from the road to the house as the road is too narrow for a car.
We got used to all the above and adapted accordingly.

- Andreas (10/5): It’s amazing - We love this horse. It’s very amazing and the host is fantastic. When we become the chance we will want to book it again. Sis is one of the best host. Everything is fine on this house
3 Personen geeignet.
- Jacob (10/5): - The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Thank you so much, Koharu-san! We had no complaints!
- NeiroX (10/5): - The host is absolutely amazing and very helpful It is a little bit cramped for an average sized european, but that is a minor inconvenience
- Dang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hadas (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is cozy and comfortable, just like in the pictures, the beds are great.
Very close to convenience stores and two train stations, from where you can easily reach the center of Tokyo. The lintels are a little low and we are not a particularly tall family, the accommodation is on the second floor and the stairs are a little steep.
There is little space for luggage in the rooms, so we opened some in the living room downstairs.
- Luke (10/5): Fantastic location, amazing host and good value. - Sandwiched between Jujo and Higashi Jujo station allows you to be about a 5 minute walk from either, with both stations allowing you to get pretty much anywhere in central Tokyo directly or with only a single train transfer.
Local Jujo Ginza is lively and full of great food, cool shops and even a nice local bath house.
Beds aren't super common, especially at this price point and these ones aren't bad, so thumbs up for that.
Loads of good food in the area, seriously enough that you could spend 3 months here and not have tried close to everything. If you're taller than 5'9 you're going to be doing a lot of maneuvering around to prevent banging your head off of door frames, the stairs aren't the easiest to move luggage up and down and it can get a little loud at night with some of the local cats going at it.
- Jackson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geri (10/5): not too bad - Flexible checkin, good info from host, nice area. nothing in particular
- Ayilin (10/5): Doraemon House - The house looks exactly like Doraemon's house check-in is from 4pm
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional - Check-in was flexible, we came late at the accomodation no late check-out, you need to store luggage inside a locker at the station
- Jenna (10/5): Cozy holiday home with an amazing host - We porposefully chose an apartment from a little further from the center. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighours that we met in our street were really friendly. There were two train stations near the accommodation that made travelling around Tokyo metropolitan area easy. The accommodation has everything you need, even for a longer stay. The host was lovely and extramely helpful before, during and after our stay in Tokyo. If I ever go back to Japan, I will certainly consider staying at Saku House again.
- Paolo (10/5): Studio Ghibli Stay - Koharu has been the only one host during our trip in Japan to provide useful insight about Tokyo and what to visit in Japan. The house is cosy and cute like studio ghibli anime. not good for party
- Petra (10/5): Home away from home - Our host was amazing, so helpful with excellent communication. Highly recommended!
- Yin (9/5): Superb - Location was good
It was cozy
Host was helpful and welcoming
Facilities were plenty for a small group
It was clean It's fairly small, so a group of 4 is definitely maximum.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Norshafiqah (9/5): Superb -
- Johan (10/5): Lovely house in friendly area, close to stations and shopping. - Friendly and extremely hospitable host who explained how to get to the house, best options for travelling to other locations and restaurant tips. Spoke perfect English and was easy to communicate with after check-in as well for questions. Lovely house in quiet area just a few minutes walk from two stations and covered shopping streets. Two big bedrooms with four beds in total and a kitchen if you want to cook yourself and everything was clean. No dislikes.
- Arzaan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivy (5/5): More suitable for light travellers - Location is good as there are 2 train station line nearby. Staffs good customer services. Beds upstairs are good. Like the neighbourhood of jujo & higashi-jujo area a convenient to get food to eat. We have 4 adults & 4 big luggages. Limited space to open our luggages. Maybe this apartment is more suitable for light traveller without big luggages . Suggested to remove the big wooden table in living room for more space to move around. 3 of us hit our heads near the toilet bathroom area as layout structure is low.
- Zheng (10/5): Strict review: Good place, good location, good host - Thing you might want to know:
- You may request for early check in and late check out. For my cases, Koharu-san is kindly enough to let us check in early and check out late within reasonable time.
- Shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, kettle, hanger, towel, washing machine, washing powder provided.
- 5min walk to Higashi-Jujo, roughly 30-40min to right side (Asakusa, Akihabara, Tokyo etc)
- 10min walk to Jujo, roughly 30-40min to left side (Kichijoji, Nakano, Shibuya etc)
- Room layout as the picture shown.
- Projector for YouTube(Guest account), Netflix(Login your own account)
- A light controller in the living room control 3 light in the living room
- Provided video for how to go to the accomadation from Higashi Jujo Thing that can't be helped:
- For people who are 170cm or more, watch your head ;) as Japan house are usually small and kinda short
- Probably environment wise, thought area looks neat and clean; may encounter small spider and small cockroach; spider and cockroach spray is in left side of shoerack; not a lot (less than 5 in total), only appear in the last few days of staying (Feedback to owner to let visitor know)
- Night time surrounding can be dark, not much light at the surrounding
- One key
- Eric (9/5): Fantastic place, good location, amazing host - Location is great. In a small street that has plenty of houses that look traditional.
It's a 5 minute walk to two major JR train stations (Jujo and Higashi Jujo). The Jujo line can take you to the west side of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Meiji Shrine for example). Higashi Jujo takes you to the east and south of Tokyo (Imperial city, Akihabara, Haneda Airport through the monorail.
Door to door, it took us 30 minutes to get from the house to Shinjuku
There are a few 7eleven or family mart stores around. It's near a small street (Engeiba street going west in the direction of Jujo station) with plenty of restaurants and izakaya bars (special mention for the Bisan restaurant. Although not japanese food, it is finger licking delicious)
The host is amazing. Perfect english, reachable via whatsapp, very helpful. She goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a host. She accommodated us for an early arrival.
The house itself is great. Appliances are in good condition. The two separate rooms with 4 beds are great for a family. The only thing I wish I could have done is extending the stay. Unfortunately, another guest had the same idea as I, and Saku house Jujo was already booked.
- Morten (9/5): Our stay was comfortable and convenient, our trip to Tokyo memorable with two small kids. will stay again in the near fu - We chose to stay at the Saku house for the main reason that it will accommodate a family of four for a long stay in Tokyo. The property meets our needs, close to locations or attractions we wanted to visit in Tokyo, there are two train stations that bring us to where we want to go, it is very convenient. it has a kitchen where you can store and cook food according to our wishes. The owner of the house is just a call or message away, she is very helpful and answers to whatever questions you might have regarding the stay or our trip in general, she gives recommendations of what to do in Tokyo. The owner is very thoughtful that she gave our kids some Pokémon cards and cakes, that’s what you never would expect anywhere else. The house is equipped with things you may need to make our stay comfortable. The owner offered to clean the house and she did according to our wishes. I would say the house lacks storage cabinets for our luggages and other stuff but we managed the best we could. Maybe a functional cabinet for storage will be good. It will be appreciated that there will be a refill of towels, toilet papers and soap. The owner bought some fresh towels when we asked her to.But then again you can get these items easily at the nearby market which also offer affordable grocery items.
- Jake (10/5): Saku house - All appliances that we need are complete. It even has a projector. We are all well rested every day with all the walking during our trip. Not too far from higashi jujo or saikyo line. Very quiet neighborhood with nearby restaurants and vendo machines 😊
The host even got us a present 👏 Our luggage won't fit in the room, that's why we need to occupy the 2nd bed for our bags and things. The house is a little bit tight but manageable. Perfect for up to 5 persons only.
- Noah (10/5): Amazing trip in Tokyo. The house is amazing, and Koharu is very nice. - It was very good and Koharu was very nice !
