Guest Reviews
- Aiste (10/5): -
- Elma (7/5): Comfy and affordable - Room 5 bed was very comfortable. It was near Greenwich park and lots of nice shops/cafes.
Easy to check in and out. Not very clean, rushed job and there were hairs.
Lots of stairs.
Room 5 is right on the main road and by a beepy crossing.
- Замзагуль (10/5): -
- Neil (3/5): Location was good wouldn’t book again - Size of the room Dirty shower freezing cold glass in carpet
- Gary (8/5): Friendly staff own entrance their are stairs though so you must be mobile but didn’t bother us. Room neat and tidy a gre - Perfect location clean and tidy Nothing to note it was perfect for us to have one night after a concert at the O2
- Louise (8/5): - Came down for the London Marathon. Couldn't ask for a better location as rooms were close to Greenwich for all the amenities and easy walk to Blackhealth, plus the race ran straight past it. Rooms were exceptionally clean with plenty of teas and coffees and you could ask for more at the bar. The staff were lovely and there if you needed anything, but you were left alone throughout the stay which we liked. The only issue, and it was a small one and couldn't be helped as we choose to stay in rooms that were above a pub, was the noise and music from the beer garden which was really very loud from our room. It was a warm weekend so people were in the garden enjoying themselves, but the music was loud, although stopped at midnight and then very peaceful after that. If I hadn't been running on Sunday we would have probably joined in. Sunday and Monday nights were fine though and check out was very easy.

- Zoe (7/5): Lovely place to stay for concerts. Would defo stay again - Great host. 30 min walk to the O2. But felt like ten minutes. Great location for the Cutty sark and Greenwich park. Highly recommend Only fault I found was the side lamps didn’t work. Nothing major. And the shower doesn’t drain very well and is very slow so didn’t have time to wash hair as water would have over flown. But I sure If we had seen the host they would have sorted. Was only staying one night.
- sally (7/5): Perfect location for our needs but give downhill since last stay . - Location and room size Felt like it needed a good clean - sheets and bathroom etc were clean - but lots of dust on lights and skirting board
- Lucien (10/5): -
- Hemery (7/5): -
- Daisy (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again, too hot to be comfortable. - The bed was nice and the location was helpful when going to the O2. The room was BOILING. Too hot to relax and sleep in. We went on a day when it was warm in London but the room didn’t have a fully opening window, the fan provided also didn’t work so the room was like a sauna. The room also wasn’t very clean, shower was quite dirty, stains on the walls and the carpet had stains.
- Hanna (4/5): - Good location close to the O2. I booked for two persons, but the hotel had also added another bed and also extra charge for no reason. The cost was charged to my bank account before I was able to react. The room ended up more expensive than listed.
- Bronagh (6/5): Perfect for after an event and somewhere just to sleep. - Staff were lovely. Bed was clean and comfortable. Good location for the O2 Music and noise from the pub below was very loud untill 12ish when the pub closed. Bathroom and Bed were lovely and clean however the rest of the room was quite dusty.
- Robert Gear (8/5): Great location for O2 visit - Friendly manager.
We Felt safe.
Close to public transport The water for the shower was very hot and hard to fine tune.
- Lana (8/5): Good value - Close to where we needed to be. Nice atmosphere in the pub. Staff pleasant. Pizza menu looked good and reasonably priced. Close to small supermarkets and restaurants etc. Bathroom toiletries were good, included hand-cream to. All in l would use this place again. Our small window was dodgy, but needed it opened and wondered if it might fall off so had to be very careful.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Lesley (7/5): - N/A
- Patricia (9/5): - It was very convenient for the 02. 188 bus took 15 mins. The guy behind the bar was very nice. Probably for me up an outside fire escape then a couple more flights of stairs
- lesley (6/5): Ok clean and comfortable but noisy and hot not much sleep! - Not a bad location nice area We only stayed one night but couldn’t close the window as it was so hot in the room we were sweating but it was on a busy road and the noisy street kept us awake all night
- Joseph (10/5): A1 all the way! - Very good value for money.
Excellent location
Very pleasant staff.
Very clean
Great Pub attached but no noise in the room
Good public transport
- Jo (6/5): - Good location View onto a wall and roof covered in rubbish. Loud pub downstairs.
- Hermione (8/5): Nice location, clean room and worth the cost of the stay. - Location to O2 stadium Very limited hanging space for garments, there were only 2 coat hangers no wardrobe and one door hook.
- Claire (8/5): -
- donna (4/5): Used for convenience to 02 but is a long walk especially at night in the dark - No breakfast was offered The room didn't look clean. Dust on walls and floor and stains on carpet. Rubbish on the sill outside the window.its down as a superior room but is extremely basic and needs cleaning on walls and furniture
- Yohan (9/5): Un joli coin pour se reposer - Bon hôtel à Londres. Très bon accueil. Propre et confortable
- Augustine (8/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Augustine omo (7/5): Not bad - The bed is ok The steps were so narrow
- Huzefa Ali (8/5): Nice stay - Nice room and clean bathroom. Location is nice for me The bedside light were not working. The window glass has a transluscent film, so you dont have any views.
- Tais (5/5): -
- Vicki (8/5): Nice stay with good facilities - Nice room for a 1 night stay, decorated nicely and bed was comfy and a well stocked refreshment station Would have been nice for a full length mirror in the room and other than a hook on the wall there was nowhere for clothing but as it was 1 night that wasn't a biggie.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): Perfect stay in this welcoming, clean, warm and affordable room. - A fabulous experience, beautiful, clean, welcoming and affordable!
Thanks for the thoughtful addition of oat milk.
- Valerie (8/5): - It was clean, comfortable, and a good location. There were no coffee packs. Only decaf were provided.
There was mould on the coffee tray.
- Joshua (8/5): - Good
- Radosław (9/5): -
- Chris_Cutler (8/5): 1 Night visit to the O2 - Clean and cosy room with a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. We couldn't turn the radiator off so we had to leave the window on a latch over night.
- Moira (8/5): - Location for o2 is excellent- short walk, avoid all the traffic queues - lots of cafes and shops nearby to get brekkie etc The only down point is there are no full length mirrors in the rooms - we had two rooms booked and neither had a mirror that wasn’t in the bathroom
Needs a second mirror in the bedroom space
- Madgrani (8/5): - I've already left a review for previous visit which was glowing. This is a great place to stay as the area has a village feel to it and transport links are good.
- Keith (8/5): I booked last minute but was glad of the result. Good value comfortable room! - Surprising room from small expectations. Tiny hotel but the room was large and very comfortable. Large comfortable bed and a huge TV. Being at the back of the hotel there was no road noise and you wouldn't know that there was a hotel downstairs.
Well worth the money. The rear entry was a bit disconcerting (excuse the expression!)
- Adam (8/5): -
- Louisa (7/5): Good central location, nice staff but facilities need improvement for the price - Good location for the O2, short walk away The shower is either scalding hot or freezing cold, there was no way to regulate the temp which made it unusable. Also it didn’t drain very well
- Priscila (10/5): - Cama confortável
- Skye (8/5): - Perfect location for a visit to the o2, very spacious and great for the price! Would definitely stay again
- Tam (9/5): -
- Madgrani (8/5): Cosy rooms - Lovely warm welcome and a comfortable, clean and spacious room in a good location. Staff where delightful and the pub downstairs offers tasty pizzas and good ales. Nothing
- Steven (8/5): -
- Sven (10/5): Coole Location! Perfekt für o2 Arena -
- Heather (7/5): Pleasant stay in a comfortable (if dark) room - The check in experience was easy and staff polite. The room was a good size and clean. It’s not too far from Greenwich centre. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the very dark style of the room. One of the lights was broken which didn’t help. Also found the layout odd (bathroom separate from the room, though still secure). And no bin in the room oddly.
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Niall (9/5): I’ll be back. - Gem of a place. Clean, quiet, polite staff, well equipped.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great for visiting o2 - Room was clean, bedding and towels were good quality. Temple Spa bathroom lotions.
Welcoming staff and their pizzas were recommended by one of the taxi drivers.
Direct bus route to o2 but also walkable. Traffic noise but then it’s in London.
- Paul (8/5): Great experience and will come back when visiting Greenwich - Well situated in the center at walking distance from the park
- Luke (7/5): -
- Katheryn (6/5): -
- J (9/5): - Close to the park. Easy to get to by public transport. Staff friendly.
- Amie (10/5): lovely room in a good location. friendly staff, would recommend - property was nice and clean. comfy bed, nice bathroom.
- NL (8/5): - It was nice location. Staff were friendly. However there was a toenail in my toilet, on the floor. Windows allowed a lot of noise through.
- Wheatley (5/5): Decent place to rest your head however not clean. - Th location was only a bus ride from O2 arena and the street had lots of shops and cafes available. The bed was comfortable The room was not clean at all, lots of dust built up over weeks of time. Floor didn’t seem hoovered, coffee and tea facilities looked as if they had been there for months. Fingerprints everywhere and mould in the bottom of the wicker bin.
- Gemma (8/5): - Good size room and secure, safe access.
- Jill (7/5): - Mysigt område, perfekt att bo på om man ska på o2, bussen tar 10 min. Skön säng och puben är trevlig! Dammigt och smutsigt på golvet.
- Gary (9/5): -
- Marjani (4/5): Improvement instructions - TV There is no plug in the bathroom and no mirror outside the bathroom ( I struggled to make my hair for my graduation day)
- Fatima Ezzahra (7/5): -
- Janet (8/5): -
- André (9/5): Excellent value for money room - A nice friendly female member of staff showed us the room. The rooms have their own separate access from the pub and security features
Piping hot shower. Decent bed. Tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, and biscuits
Excellent value for money and just a short walk into Greenwich Very little downside considering the value for money.
The coat hook had come off the wall in my room (4 Ihink it was)
- Charlotte (8/5): Bed was comfortable, would recommend. - The location was good, my friend and I came to stay as we watched a concert at the O2. We said the only thing missing from the room was a full length mirror which could of gone on the wall behind the door, we stayed in room 5, we appreciate not all the room might not have the same lay out.
- alexis (8/5): -
- Phoebe (7/5): Good location. Nice staff. - Rooms were nice. Comfortable beds. Had oat milk or regular milk in the rooms, ice cold water available.
Staff member was nice and upgraded us to a premium room due to issues in our original room. Room we booked had a problem with the bathroom. It was also exceptionally hot in the room in the heat.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Beatriz (7/5): Good hotel close to the O2 - The room was nicely decorated. The bathroom was a good size and the pub below was a plus. The staff were really lovely. There isn’t a wardrobe. Plus when we stayed there was a heatwave and no aircon- just a fan, when the room got extremely hot. The location is also a bit dodgy at night - do not walk alone as a woman to this hotel at night.
- Pietro (3/5): The smell was too bad - The room was very clean. The place stank like an open sewer. It was a very hot day which didn’t help. The smell was too much I couldn’t open the window because of the smell. It was very hot no air con just a fan but it was very hard to go asleep I had to keep the window closed. The corridor smelt like an open sewer. The shower was overflowing I had to stop having a shower to let the water go. Not impressed at all.
- Lara (9/5): Perfect location for people wanting to visit the O2 - Great location, close to the O2
Staff were lovely and very helpful!
The room was nice and clean It was incredibly hot, however it was a hot day and a fan was provided which was great
- noah (10/5): -
- Rosie (6/5): -
- Saskia (8/5): Eenvoudige maar zeer nette kamer met een goed bed. - Mooie nette kamer Het was erg warm in de kamer, maar het was ook 33 graden die dag
- Nathalie (9/5): -
- Daisy (10/5): A lovely sized room, great staff and good location - The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The room was also bigger than we expected which was a nice surprise and the facilities were clean and provided everything we needed There wasn’t a bin in the room
- Tracie (8/5): -
- Joanna (8/5): Very good will be back again - Clean, convenient location, comfortable and spacious Only one key available for the room crested difficulty when my partner and I had different plans during our stay
- Angela (6/5): As expected, could be much better with some minor tweaks. Overall I'd stay again if the need arises. - The young lady who showed me to my room was great, kind and courteous. Lovely view of the pub sign and church. The amenities were basic but as expected. Private entrance. Good location for Greenwich & o2. Single glazing was poor but not so bad at night when the street was quite. And as expected after reading the previous reviews. Pedestrian crossing during the day never stopped beeping. So no afternoon power napping, which was ashame that afternoon as I had a headache so tried to sleep it off. Heating was up way to high. I turned it down when I found it on 35c outside in the downstairs corridor. Tried to control it in my room by turning down the radiator but the heat made it difficult to sleep until I put the fan on. A few hooks in the bathroom and room to hang clothes etc would of made all the difference to the room or an extra chair (which there was plenty of room for). The carpet made me want to keep something between me & it at all times.
- Brown (9/5): -
- Dawn (5/5): - Price and location for 02. Shower didnt work. Very distressing as i have a hidden disability so wasnt able to clean myself. Very unplesant to be walkimg around stinking all day.
- Nayeem (9/5): -
- Ergash (10/5): -
- Dominic (9/5): The guys at the Crown were great and very welcoming! The room was larger than we expected so it was a nice surprise! Com - Great size, convenient location and great staff!
- Ellis (8/5): -
- AdamTom (3/5): - The room was big. No drinking water as per se on the document. Shower over filling.
- fiona (8/5): Good spot for the o2 and Greenwich - Staff.
Location
Clean bedding and towels
Comfy bed Quiet noisy in the front room as its on the main road
- Jessica (10/5): Great spot for the O2 - Perfect location if coming to London to go to the O2!
Beds were so comfy and shower was great, really friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend
- Suzanne (10/5): Everything we needed given with a smile - Super friendly staff
Tasty pizza and craft beer in bar
Great location for O2 Window didn’t open
- Victoria (9/5): Great stay - Super comfy bed, clean, really friendly staff and great location for o2
- Chloe (9/5): Lovely place and staff - Th bed was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. The only issue we had was that the shower drain was a bit blocked so after a couple of minutes you’d be standing in a puddle of water.
- Charlotte stivs (10/5): - Really cosy rooms which were clean and stylish.
- TFolling (8/5): Brilliant, and only a short trip to and from the o2! - The staff in the pub were friendly and helpful and the room was big, able to come and go as you please.
- Carly (5/5): - Staff were friendly, bedding was comfortable and clean. Bathroom & shower area seemed newly decorated with quality toiletries. Rough side entrance to the rooms, dingy bedroom with decor in need of some love and a deep clean (didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet). 1 bedside light not working, shower was either hot or cold and didn't drain.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good rooms, above a great pub with lots of craft beers, sport and pizzas. - Nice comfy room, good central heating.
10% discount on drinks in the pub below.
Good location if visiting 02 or Magazine, both can be walked to in apprx 30mins or jump on the bus over the road. Not much to not like, if being critical the shower temperature fluctuated from dangerously hot to cold back and forth which was a pain.
- Louise (7/5): -
- Fionnuala (10/5): - Charming, quiet room in a lovely pub. Everything about the stay was hassle free. I loved the soaps and hair products that came in the room. Maybe a couple more hangers/hooks.
