• Paige (10/5): Awesome & comfortable stay. Everything our family needed - Our family had an awesome stay at Te Vaiora Villa. It had an awesome lawn for the kids to run around, kayaks to use, access to the lagoon, and awesome facilities. We loved staying here! We loved how close it was to everything and that we could walk! Would be helpful if there was a sign out the front of the road as we had a little bit of trouble finding it, but other than that we absolutely loved our stay.

• Rusty (9/5): Love love love the villa and location. - Our host met us onsite on the day of check-in, gave us a tour of the villa, and spoke about the highlights of the local area. We were impressed by the villa's cleanliness, and the location was excellent—only a 50-m walk to the lagoon of Muri Beach. 550m to the night markets for a feed, local bakery, and convenience store 150m away. The beds were super comfy, and there were heaps of towels. Filtered chilled water was great to have on site. Do yourself a favour and rent a car to maximise your stay. We would have liked a bigger TV for when we collapsed in the lounge at the end of the day. But hey, what a first-world problem.

• George (10/5): Exceptional villa and incfedible hosts, close to beach - The property was extremely clean and had all the ammenities we needed! The property was bigger than we expected from the photos which was great. We also loved having the chilled water cooler which the hosts offered to refill when needed. The board games and kayaks were also great, as well as the coffee shop right next door (‘my cousins place’). This villa was ideal for our stay and the hosts made us feel very welcome and were super helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely recommend Te Vaiora Villa!! Nothing we had a lovely stay

Dropped around water, great advice and the house wad well appointed and extremely clean. Would definitely recommend it. Contact the owners directly you will not be sorry. Close enough to walk around the area safely. Could have done with an outdoor shower

There's plenty to do in the area for tourist to enjoy. Hosts are excellent and prompt to deal with any issues that arise. Will highly recommend this lovely villa to anyone. • Ellyse (10/5): 4th trip to Rarotonga and by far my favourite accomodation, can’t wait to come back! - Where do I start? This is my 4th trip to Rarotonga, this is by far the cleanest nicest accommodation we have stayed in, the hosts met us at the property at 10pm at night when we arrived. Showed us around, great value for money and only a 30 second l look stroll down a sandy path to the beach, this beautiful home was perfect for our family of 5, our girls loved exploring looking for crabs and fish at the small creek right in front of the home and this part of muri the beach was so nice and private for us to chill out on and pop back up to the house when wanting to have lunch etc, we didn’t fly out until 10pm and Peter and vaiora called us up and said they didn’t have anyone arriving so we could stay at the house until it was time to head to the airport, this made it so much easier for us with 3 young children, vaiora dropped off 2 of her amazing trifles for us and wow they did not disappoint! Just really amazing caring hosts who will make sure you have the best holiday! We can’t wait to come back next year! I will be recommending to everyone! Thanks so much Peter and vaiora! On the plane home last night my husband asked if the turtle tour was my highlight and I said no the accommodation was, this beautiful home will not disappoint, perfect for families 🩷 Absolutely nothing

• Kathryn (10/5): Love, love, love! - Everything! Peter & Vaiora were fabulous hosts and perfect with communication both before and during our stay. We appreciated the airport pick up option as well to get our bearings. The villa is much bigger than expected and allowed for our group to have their own space as well and come together. Fresh clean water provided, only a 2min walk to the beach, and everything else you'd need is provided! Also a great bakery at the end of the drive for $2 breakfast treats!
• Robert (10/5): Vaiora villa is a must! Amazing first experience in raro! - We absolutely loved our stay here! Great value for money. Great location in walking distance to shops, scooter hire, muri markets & beach. The villa was soo clean on arrival. Our hosts peter & vaiora were the best hosts you could ask for. Easily contactable, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. So many handy things available, kayaks, life jackets, games for the kids, containers for packed lunches & a much needed water cooler which they refilled when empty. Our 3year old loved sleeping on the fold out couch. A++ hosts, we highly recommend this villa and would happily stay again We opted to get the air con on for 4 nights at the end of the trip. Hosts did make it very clear in description that aircon was extra 50 per night. But i would suggest adding it to the overall cost
• Laura (10/5): Lovely, spacious home & yard close to beach! - Extremely clean, nice linens, well stocked & close to beach. Home is spacious with high ceilings. Owner is attentive to possible needs. Left a beautiful platter of fresh fruit, met us at airport with leis & brought delicious food to us on one of our nights. It was all great! Like many island locations, be prepared (ear plugs) for rooster’s crowing at daybreak.

• Ann (10/5): Exceptional - Peter was very helpful and accommodating. Loved the bowl of tropical fruit on arrival. Our plane didn't take off until 4 pm. We were able to check out later. The villa walking distance to small shops and night market for dinner and the lagoon.
• Mark (10/5): Grab this Spot! - Loved the location and the space itself. A one minute walk to the beach and all Muri has to offer a wee walk up the road. Lovely hosts and the welcoming bowl of beautiful tropical fruit was delicious and lasted our stay. There was nothing to dislike.
• Michael (9/5): So impressed with the villa, and the hosts were amazing, totally recommend them. - Location and the space and great facilities in the villa were all fan I will take ear plugs next time, as unfortunately local roosters are very vocal through the night. Not used to that noise, but just a minor thing for all tourists to be aware of.
• Ben (10/5): Great villa next to one of the best beaches in Raro, would love to stay again. - Host personally welcomed us and went over everything. Brought us a local potato salad dish the next day and to check if everything was good. The house was bigger than what we had imagined from the photos. Definitely better than expected, the water cooler and WiFi hotspot was handy. The local shops at the end of the driveway were much cheaper than NZ dairies and the bakery was excellent. Might have been good to have the heat pump for air conditioning, but found that the house remained comfortably cool with the ceiling fans going and windows open.
• Wynand (10/5): A refreshing and relaxing stay, and the food (especially tropical fruit) was gorgeous! - Great location, private but close to a small beach and shops and eateries within walking distance. The outstanding feature of Vaiora Villa is the spacious, well furnished rooms which is important since with the hot and humid climate one spends much time indoors. Peter and Vaiora went out of their way to make us welcome. Only a minor suggestion - The ceramic tiled floors are very clean and tidy, but a little harsh underfoot. A soft rug in the lounge would be nice.
• Laura (10/5): Everything you need in one clean, comfortable, handy location - we will be back for sure! - The villa was absolutely perfect for us! Just a short walk from Muri village and night markets, plenty of space for our daughter to run around outside, super close to the beach but also good that it was out of sight so not tempting for her to run away ;-) The house itself was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were also super friendly! It was really handy having the kayaks available too so we didn’t have to rent them. The fact that we had to leave it and go home eventually ;-)
• Marcos (9/5): Great base for exploring the island. - The owner was waiting for us and there was fruit for us on arrival. The house was well equipped and comfortable. They resolved issues that came up (the washing machine was not working properly) and were happy to give advice.

• Karina (10/5): Hidden gem in paradise - Absolutely beautiful home so close to the most beautiful beach perfect for young children safe and shallow with clear turquoise waters. Home was comfortable and spacious with excellent amenities. Hosts were kind and friendly. Our kids absolutely adored it and my son will forever be talking of the big crabs at the bottom of the garden! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! 😊 Travelling close to Christmas a few of the local restaurants/supermarkets were closed but we survived!
