• Fiona (9/5): We loved our stay. The balcony, window views of the Duomo & Tower bells were inspiring. - Difficult to criticise, because we had such a lovely time & didn’t mind. But if it’s helpful to know, the showers’ wall brackets need mending and there are better screen options rather than shower curtains now. The lower bathroom radiator wouldn’t turn on, perhaps because of the electrical socket being loose? Otherwise, the apartment is brilliant and spotlessly clean. It was such a pleasure for us to be there. Thank you!

• Kym (8/5): Very central location. - Location was brilliant. It was also great being able to have a washing machine and kitchen facilities. The only complaint was the showers. Some of the people were over 6 feet tall, and they couldn't shower without bending over.

• Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - The location is prime. Close to duomo and lots of great restaurants and shops. During the day the street is busy but very quiet in the evening. Having an ice machine was perfect in the hot weather! We visited in August. The property is very spacious for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. We had a fantastic time! We will definitely return to this property!
• Henry (8/5): Exceptional penthouse with a fabulous view of the Duomo! - A beautiful antique penthouse facing the Duomo! It was one-of-kind experience able to see the Duomo at different times of the day. It was a beautiful sight! The place was beautifully decorated with all sorts of retro style furniture. The penthouse was spacious, well organized with lots of air conditioning and lighting. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well-supplied with towels and other amenities. The penthouse had a large balcony and it was a lovely place for us to chill and chit chat while enjoying the magnificent view of the Duomo at night. Be prepared there was no lift but it was good exercise for us to walk up the stairs everyday! Overall, my family had a pleasant and memorable stay! Unfortunately, the kitchen was a bit worn out and lots of ants appeared during cooking. The fridge need a bit of cleaning inside. It would be great to upgrade the kitchen and maybe install a washing machine as well instead of using the washing machine in the common area.

The apartment was clean and spacious and the terrace was amazing! The communication with the hosts was wonderful-I didn’t need to reach out at all, their instructions were very clear and intuitive. The showers needed to be handheld so as long as you prepared for function vs luxury, you’ll be fine. I managed just fine but it was an in-n-out shower

• Christa (9/5): Wonderful - Great location, close to many things we wanted to see. Easy to stop back door a rest when needed. Kitchen easy to use with all the online instructions. Could not get master bedroom towel heater to work. We could get the main floor heater to work but it would randomly turn on.
• Judy (7/5): Florence is a brilliant city and we enjoyed the terrace views. Be aware of the stair climb! - We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening. The views were sensational and the penthouse is in an excellent location near the Cathedral. The staff provided good information regarding access to the apartment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the second bedroom was very small. We are used to being welcomed with water, coffee and tea provided. There was nothing at this property. The photo depicting the stairs on your website is deceiving. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There are a total of 68 very steep stairs to climb. With heavy bags we really struggled and I am fairly fit. There is no lift in this building.
• Lora (9/5): Beautiful location in the heart of a beautiful city. - The location, the cleanliness, the view, the terrace. The rugs were curled and we tripped a few times. There were no paper towels and no plastic garbage bags which we expected based on our stays at similar places in Italy.

• Nick (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a very old building right in the centre of Florence. - Fabulous location and beautiful big terrace on the top floor It would have been nice to have been warned about mosquitoes unusual in a city in April. We left windows open the first night and got badly bitten. Some attractions were fully booked for days and we were unable to see them

• Alexandra (10/5): Beautiful apartment with roof terrace in the centre by the cathedral. - This really is an exceptional property right in the heart of the centro storico with the cathedral literally on your doorstep! Its an easy 10 minute walk from the train station too. All the major attractions are within a short walk too. The roof terrace was a wonderful bonus with lovely comfy outdoor furniture and views of the rooftops and churches. Perfect for tired feet to retire with a bottle of local vino too at the end of the day. Comfy beds and well equipped bathroom with nice toiletries. I would not hesitate to rebook again if I was back in Florence. If you have mobility issues or huge bags the 3 flights of stairs upto the apartment might be an issue. For us this was not an issue and the apartment location and roof terrace was worth the trip up the stairs! In the second bedroom I would suggest some hooks on the wall between the bedroom door and bathroom for hanging stuff. Some blankets might be handy to pop on knees on chillier nights sitting on the balcony.
