- Neha (10/5): Perfect Launceston stay - It was in the perfect location! Centre of town, walkable to almost everything.
The apartment itself is beautiful!! Super clean and cosy.
Would definitely come back.
- Libby (9/5): Comfortable and colourful - Very easy to check in with great communication prior to arrival. The room is vibrant and colourful, very well equipped with everything you need, including washing machine/dryer. Special touches of a welcoming Milo and Easter egg were appreciated. Loved the location stepping into the CBD and bus stop from the front door. Very quiet despite this close proximity. We would definitely stay again when we return. Nothing…:)
- Emma (10/5): Vibey and in the heart of town -
- Carol (8/5): - Location was very central. Property was very comfortable and worked well. No parking. Was difficult for us as we had golf clubs as well as suitcases.
- Marc (8/5): -
- Anja (10/5): The perfect accommodation in the heart of Launceston - Great location, great decor and super comfortable
- Mark (8/5): Great location with plenty of space and handy to lots of cafes ! Restaurants etc. - Great location and plenty of space!
No staff so n/a Washing machine a washer/ dryer that was not very friendly!
Instructions left and utube didn’t seem to handle it well as couldn’t get a wash and dry cycle to work nor a straight dry.
- Guest (10/5): - Fabulous decor Parked in street, bit worried about car but was fine
- Aiting (10/5): - It was very spacious, central. Well decorated with a vibrant character!
- H (10/5): - From the moment we entered the apartment (which was perfectly centrally located) every detail had been thought of. The styling, the little touches like hot choc, marshmellows. The apartment I would call a modern art deco. Styled perfectly, the apartment just had such a great vibe about it. Very comfy couch, bed. I got to introduce a record player to my daughter and we danced around to The Beatles.
It was my daughter’s favourite accommodation of our Tasmania trip.
What a great final night of our trip. Nothing!
- Christy (9/5): Totally recommend this property - Wish we had stayed longer. Amazing apartment, fantastic location & super comfy bed. Amenities awesome. Nothing
- Jacqui (10/5): Best location, best amenities, fun!! - This place is so funky. Very clean and has everything! Nothing
- Mandy (10/5): The green room is a truly amazing space. Our 2-night stay at the apartment was an unforgettable experience that exceeded - The hosts have demonstrated exceptional dedication to providing outstanding amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, and their meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout. The little bar is a delightful surprise, offering a uniquely charming ambiance. Everything was immaculately clean and well-equipped, reflecting the hosts' commitment to excellence.
On an extra note I’d like to applaud the hosts for keeping the prices fair and equal and not taking advantage of the fact there was major event on in Launceston.
Unlike others in the area that commercialized on this, yes the Foo Fighters were on and we loved every moment of the concert experience.
We will definitely recommend the Green Room to family and friends and come back again. 💚
- Juanita (10/5): I loved my stay at the gorgeous Greeen Room and would stay again in a heartbeat. - Absolutely gorgeous vibe. Super clean and comfortable. Nothing!
- Sally (10/5): -
- Nomiki (10/5): -
- Steven (10/5): A zesty chic inner city apartment that is retro and now simultaneously - The aesthetic is both honey and quirky at the same time. Lush and comfortable furnishings.
- Matthew (10/5): Hidden Gem - Literally cannot fault The Green Room. Very tastefully decorated in a great retro/vintage theme. The owner definitely has an eyr for style. Most comprehensive kitchen/bar of any place i have stayed. Often simple things are lacking here. Very central yet pretty quiet in the morning. No parking, but plenty of nearby options. Really not a hassle. Would absolutely stay again and recommend highly.. .a little hidden gem. Nothing

- Monica (10/5): Perfect! - Everything about The Green Room is perfect! It's so welcoming from the moment you walk in, and every little detail has been considered. It's in the perfect location to explore the city and surrounds, too. Thanks so much for having us!
- Pincheira (10/5): - Everything!
- Nicholas (10/5): - We had a quick layover in Launceston before starting a Tasmanian road trip adventure. This property was so comfortable after a long international trip. The pictures don't do it justice - perfectly appointed. The location in the downtown of the town made breakfast on easy choice around the block from the apartment - Hideout Cafe! The Greeen Room was the perfect launching point for us.
- Vandenberg (7/5): - Central, clean, a little bit fun. A little pricey for what it was.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louisa (10/5): A space from another time, walking in the door was an experience of immense joy ! - Loved the atmosphere the small touches create. The Spotify playlist was excellent and certainly enhanced the mood.
Central location with a private feel.
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Everything was lovely and well thought of. Parking tricky and and street noise on a Saturday night
- Sherryl (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jin (7/5): Good -
- Regina (10/5): An absolute gem! - Beautiful - in every way! The colours, the comfort, the cleanliness, the communication, the amenities - the apartment wanted for nothing! It was so sad that we could only spend one afternoon and night here because of other commitments. Don’t let this amazing ‘Greeen Room’ pass you by. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back when next in Tasmania. xx Everything was perfect.
- Bonita (9/5): Love our short stay and it was perfect for us before we flew home. - Great location and easy parking nearby. Lots of restaurants in area.
- Gisela (10/5): Incredible place!! - Everything was simply amazing! The styling of the place is incredible, every single space is meticulously designed and the attention to detail is unbelievable.
The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and organised.
The host was super kind and communicative, I would stay here again 100%
- Richard (10/5): Amazing digs - Everything. So stylish and comfortable and came with everything we needed Nothing wrong with the property. Not sure there’s enough to do in Launceston to warrant three nights though…
- Puls (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (10/5): Very enjoyable apartment. - The Green Room is a quirky, well fitted apartment with almost everything you need. Although no parking at all, you can find street parking after hours or a large paid car park around the corner. It’s first floor but has a lift which is great! Zero Co products in the kitchen and bathroom were a lovely touch, and the washer dryer was a great bonus. The only downside was no manuals for Oven or Washer. Had to download them online to work out how to switch oven on and the dryer locked our washing in and took a long while to get it out.
I would suggest a knife sharpener as your knives are very blunt also, I’m guessing from the lack of chopping boards - marble is cute but not great for your knives.
Everything else was amazing, it was spotlessly clean, we were very happy with our stay!
- Brooke (10/5): Fabulous - Super stylish and well appointed
- Bianca (10/5): Cosy, inviting, stylish but homely and comfortable. Thoughtful ammenities. Perfect central location. - Location, decor, ambience.
- Josephine (9/5): Best accomodation of all that we experienced on a 2 week Tasmania tour. - Love the colour saturation of the interior and furnishings. Love the nic nacs around the apartment that make you feel like you live there.
- Aram (8/5): Very good -
- Nadia (10/5): A feast for the senses in a fantastic and convenient Launceston location - The Greeen Room [the extra ‘e’ is for ‘excellently evocative and effervescent’ - okay, maybe it should have THREE extra ‘e’s!] was such a delight. While Launceston itself is lovely with much to tempt you, the fact that my husband and I decided to spend a Friday night “at home” on the “World’s Most Gorgeous Sofa in the Entire World” will give you an idea of what a beautiful haven this apartment is.
Everywhere you look is something wonderful - a beautiful object or picture or book or coffee cup or pillow or cocktail glass - but it’s a feast for ALL the senses. The sofa is GLORIOUS, the bed comfy, it’s quiet but you also have the option to play records - even the bathroom air freshener was the best I’ve ever smelled!
I’m thankful that there are people who have not only style and whimsy but a generous spirit that allows others to share their beautifully curated spaces.
And as far as the practical stuff - hot water in a spacious shower, a fantastic location close to the Harvest Market and great cafes and shops, it’s safe and easy to park nearby - honestly an absolute highlight
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (9/5): Lovely place to stay -
- Narelle (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (10/5): Fabulously quirky and comfortable right in the heart of Launceston. - From the moment we walked in to this stunning apartment we felt completely at home.
Complimentary gin and tonics, popcorn and candy was just another treat we were not expecting.
This cute apartment has it all.
We will be back. 🌸

- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - A great apartment in a great location. The interiors were charming, and the apartment had everything we needed.
- Roslyn (9/5): Superb - The room was clean and inviting. Full Kitchen with laundry combined. Little bits and pieces to make the stay fun. Well thought out. Welcome drinks on arrival, comfortable couch and bed. Large warm shower. Unit close to everything. Walking distance to great cafes, restaurants. The TV can only be used with your own streaming - no antenna for normal TV and the Internet didn't work.
- Brett (9/5): Funky place in the best location - Fantastic location and really well styled Pillows 🥴
- Lloyd (10/5): Will definitely stay at Greeen Room again - Very comfortable. Great position well appointed and charming decor.
- Abby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorna (10/5): Overall a really great apartment with a funky vibe. Loved the record player and would recommend to others - Really funky vibe The pillows were too soft
Update places to eat and drink at as a few had closed down
- Kyra (10/5): On point aesthetic - The aesthetic was on point! Every detail from kitchenware, coffee station, cocktail bar, bathroom decor, and all the little details everywhere. I had the best time just going around and looking at everything. We were there for 4 days, and I kept finding new cute things.
Couch and bed super comfortable.
Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom very well equipped with everything you could need and more.
Such pleasant, kind and helpful hosts as well. Would 100% recommend and definitely spent our stay telling everyone about it. No parking, but that's not their fault. We only had a car the last 2 days and parked it overnight at a paid hotel carpark a few blocks away.
- Roslyn (9/5): Wonderful space in an underrated town. - Gorgeous little place to escape to in the centre of the city. Every detail was perfectly curated. I spent a lot of time just exploring each little nook and cranny - all stacked with interesting books or curios. As other reviewers have mentioned, it can be a little noisy with a common area (complete with basketball ring…?) right outside.
- Justin (10/5): A fabulous stay, we will be back! - We could not have asked for better communication. The keys were easily obtained from the lockbox, getting to the room was made easier by the elevator in the lobby (we had two bike bags), and the room was clean, spacious and very welcoming (felt like entering your own home). There was nothing not to like. The room has it all. You could layabout on the lounge and enjoy some music, or you could explore the wonders of Launceston which are at the foot of your door.
- Sydney (9/5): Great little apartment. Very welcoming and centrally located in Launceston. - Comfortable little apartment. Very clean and well presented. Super central location.
- Johnathan (10/5): Like staying in a mini version of MONA - Amazing in every way Leaving
- Tim (10/5): Great spot for weekend getaway - Great location near centre of town. Amazing decor with great touches everywhere. Complimentary Gin and Tonic didn't go down too badly either! Our flights got cancelled but as soon as you step in the door you can't help but be in a good mood! nothing
- Kirrilea (10/5): Exceptional - The decor, the attention to detail, the complimentary gin & tonics, the location, the vibe. Nothing
- Dorothy (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): A definite must stay location. - What a vibe! We almost didn't want to leave the room during our stay because we loved it so much.
Great comms from the owners and their setup is very well thought out. I would stay again! There's no parking available, so we had to generally schedule around our street parking times.
- William (10/5): Such a treat! - I booked the Greeen Room my folks and they loved it!! The quirky decor and all the little touches really made their stay a lot of fun! Plus being in easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, shops and the free bus service meant we didn't need a car while staying in Launceston.
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (9/5): Brilliant design, central location. A perfect city stay. - Wonderful kitsch design, lots of fun, full of empowering messages/books/art, great to have some records to play with too. All beautifully put together and we could have stayed longer than our one night. The space is really thoughtfully curated and we kept pinching ourselves that we'd landed such an enjoyable property for our stay! Would 100% book again. A couple of dishes that could have used closer attention (one lipstick-y glass) but nothing major!
For us we found the bed was pretty squishy, and we should have trialled one of the alternative pillows (provided) as they might have suited our preference a little more.
- Daniel (10/5): Funky, cool place to stay with everything you need plus more - Where do I start... funky, comfortable, clean, great location and everything you need, plus more. We stayed 3 nights and explored north and south. Was good being able to catch up on the laundry, with everything provided. Nothing, one of the best accommodations we have stayed at during our trip to Tasmania. Thank you for sharing this fabulous apartment with us.
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional -
