Cama cómoda Limpio Echo de menos un espejo para vestirme, o un tocador donde poder arreglarte, pintarte… el espejo del baño está muy muy alto y es difícil verte si no eres muy alta. La ducha, poca presión de agua, la ducha de mano muy incomoda, a veces saltaba a la ducha de arriba y una vez me mojó toda la cabeza. Un poco incomoda la experiencia de arreglarte y vestirte.

Livia, the owner/host was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. A very good breakfast selection was available.

• Florin Daniel (9/5): Ședere plăcută - Camera spațioasă, curată, patul confortabil, în baie curățenie, frigider, cafetiera și încălzitor apă în cameră, personalul super ok, mic dejun foarte bun cu produse sățioase și prăjituri de casă. Deasemenea în ziua plecării am putut servi micul dejun mult mai devreme decât era programat ceea ce a contat foarte mult. Internetul wifi nu prea funcționează cum trebuie, dacă sunt vecini la camerele alăturate și fac mai mult zgomot se aude , dar una peste alta nu a fost foarte deranjant dacă se respectă programul de liniște.

Located in a quiet area, it is close to bus stations and offers a beautiful walk to the attractions of Firenze. The breakfast is also generous. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything was great!

• Anastasia Hamel (7/5): Beautiful property and great hosts, but poor sound insulation - The hosts were very nice, welcoming and responsive. The breakfast was amazing — delicious food every morning. The location was excellent, close to everything while still being on a quiet street. The space itself was very pleasant, with the charm of an older Italian house that has been beautifully renovated. The room lacked sound insulation and was located very close to the main kitchen. Every morning around 8 a.m., when breakfast preparation started, we were woken up by the kitchen noise as if it were right next to us. One of the room’s windows faced the main terrace, which meant we had to keep it closed to maintain some privacy. Overall, the room felt a bit under-equipped for the price range. For example, there were no bedside lamps, so if one person wanted to read while the other slept, it wasn’t possible without keeping the main light on. The coffee machine in the room also felt outdated. The terrace had a table and chairs, but a lounge chair or small sofa would have made it much more comfortable. The bathroom ventilation was very loud and, unfortunately, not very effective. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower.

• Elisa (10/5): Consigliatissimo! - La struttura è molto bella! La camera era spaziosa, luminosa, ben arredata e molto pulita. La colazione è stata super, con pancake cucinati sul momento, spremuta d’arancia fresca, pizzette fatte in casa e tante altre cose buonissime! Graditissimo il regalino al checkout, un sacchetto con sale aromatizzato, olio e marmellata. Consigliatissimo!
• Luca (10/5): A luxury place with lots of personality not far from Florence downtown. - The location is in a very quiet street and building. The area is walking distance (10-15 min) from Florence downtown, and it is very well connected with public transportation. Parking in the area is extremely difficult, but the facility offers a garage (to be reserved in advance) in case of need. The owners (Livia and Dominique) are exceptional hosts, check-in was smooth (unattended) as well as check-out. At breakfast, the buffet is full of fresh homemade products and Livia and Dominique are ready to cook eggs for you if you wish. Informal atmosphere with good suggestions from the owners. Unfortunately, I could only stay two nights as I had to go back home. I really like my stay at Casaldo's rooms.
• Rebecca (10/5): A wonderful stay in a very lovely home. - The owner is very sweet. She was kind enough to make us breakfast early in the morning. The chef is also very sweet. She makes excellent omelettes, hot chocolate, and cappuccinos. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Recently updated in 2019. We felt very safe, welcomed, and taken care of. When our flight was canceled, they were very accommodating. The superior suites is fabulous. It’s in the back of the property, so you don’t hear street noise. Be sure you have cash for city tax, or be able to do a wire transfer after arrival. The next time we are in the area, we will likely stay in this beautiful home. 🙂

Unique architecture to the rooms & a modern bathroom ensured our comfort was maximised. The hosts Livia & Dominic & Chef Irene ensured our stay was a delight - with delicious homemade breakfasts of fresh crepes, omelettes, homemade jams & quiches - a very welcome & yummy start to every day. 5 min walk from Station Firenze Campo di Marte and 25 mins on foot to the Duomo. Great residential neighbourhood to stay in away for some quality sleep. Communication with the hosts was highly appreciated - they are very responsive & accommodating & most importantly friendly!! The breakfast room only seats 4 people at one time - tricky if all guests are awake & hungry at the same time, but the terrace is nice & the family room has a dining table so we did not have any issues.

Although we arrived a lot later than planned, the check-in went smooth. The room were spacious and very comfortable. We slept well and because we had a very full program, the self-help breakfast was great. We had a great time and the only negative is that we could not stay longer.

The property is conveniently located close to a bus stop, which made it easy for us to get around Florence. We stayed in the large family room, which was spacious with high ceilings and castle‑like charm, and the thoughtful interiors really added to the atmosphere.The hosts are amazing, warm, humble, and extremely knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our conversations with them and found their insights on local sights, facilities, and even the local economy very helpful.As vegetarians, we truly appreciated the special arrangements they made for us; the breakfast spread was generous, tasty, and very satisfying.The property is very well equipped, including access to a washing machine, and everything feels carefully planned yet environmentally conscious. Overall, it was a memorable experience for our family, and highly recommend Casaldo’s Rooms to anyone visiting Florence. N/A
• Mayur (10/5): Wonderful accommodation - spacious and classical touch. - Essentially an ancestral property that has been repurposed into a Airbnb type of accommodation with multiple rooms. Classical furniture and homely feel, with all basic amenities available. The family studio comes with kitchen and washing machine, which was quite helpful. It was large and spacious. Even though it was a very chilly December period, the heating was working perfectly. Our kid loved all the interesting furniture, nooks and crannies that came with the place. Coincidentally, we were the only ones in the entire house during the stay, and were spoilt quite well by Irene (the cook) during breakfast. The owner Livia was quite lovely and helped us with any requests that we had, including recommendations on buying pasta and olive oil. Would stay here again if we visit Florence in the future. The connectivity is not as central as perhaps other properties near the SM Novella station. But didn’t matter to us, because we were looking for spacious rooms preferably with kitchen facilities. No significant issues during our stay.

Die Tipps von Dominic und Livia waren Gold wert, und dass wir unser E-Auto in der Garage parken und laden konnten, war das i-Tüpfelchen. Grazie mille und bis hoffentlich bald wieder! ❤️ Nichts!

Está ubicado en un barrio muy tranquilo, a 20 minutos a pie del centro turístico. El desayuno es espectacular, hecho en casa de la mano del gran chef Domenico. Everything was great - Very beautiful room, we got the Superior Suite and it was great, the space was used in a very efficient and interesting way and we had a terrace. The screen where you can project the Netflix was awsome, we felt like we were at the cinema. Also the breakfast was very nice, good and healthy choises and omlette coocked by our host. Very friendly, helpful and polite host. Nice experience. -
• Charlotte Thomas (8/5): Fijn verblijf met lekker ontbijt! - Het is erg proper, nette badkamer met alle faciliteiten, goede hoofdkussens! Het ontbijt is erg volledig en lekker. Het terras in het zonnetje is in de ochtend heel erg aangenaam. Hoewel er niemand ter plekke is, is alle informatie wel vlot te vinden. Op zich was er sprake van een zeer vlotte communicatie maar ik vind het een vreemd gegeven dat er niemand is bij het in- en uitchecken en dat er niemand ter plaatse is. Dit gegeven drukt natuurlijk de prijs wel, dus dat is tegelijkertijd een voordeel ook. Er was wel een beetje sprake van nachtlawaai maar al bij al viel dit mee.

Las camas y almohadas eran muy cómodas, de visco elástica. Estaba limpio y bien equipado con todo lo que necesitábamos. El personal fue súper amable y agradable. Los desayunos eran una pasada: buffet libre muy completo y riquísimo. Sin duda si volvemos a Florencia nos alojaríamos aquí.

Dominic haben wir dann am nächsten Morgen bei einem hervorragenden Frühstück kennengelernt. Neben dem sehr guten durch ihn zubereiteten Rührei hat er uns einige Tipps für Lokations in Florenz gegeben, die ihm sehr gut gefallen haben. Wir haben leider nicht alle davon testen können, aber alle haben sie auch uns gefallen. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt, wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!
• HurryScurry (10/5): Great flat, though not cheap - Nice room, no bad smells, no mosquitoes, all equipment works fine. Very nice owner(s) with great English (at least written one, we talked only using messages in Booking.com). Remote check-in with very clear instructions on how to enter the house, enter the correct room and everything else. Gorgeous breakfast menu (eggs cooked any style, fresh juices! they have a juice extractor and can make apple or carrot juice). Need to order food for breakfast for the next day but that can be done using messages. Breakfast lady is very nice. We actually never saw the owner, only talked to them via chat. Breakfast times are very nice - up to 10:30, great in case you want to get up late. They have a private garage, only 1 place so need to reserve, and it has charging for electric cars. Everything is perfect except the price, which is a bit more expensive than we're used to. Also the parking is not cheap, it's 25 EUR / night. Street parking is often unavailable: parking on the side of the apartment is only for residents, and the other side was all taken when we arrived.

• Kristof (9/5): Uitstekende verblijf om Firenze te ontdekken! - De familiekamer was prachtig! We sliepen net in het bed van een Franse koning :-) De kinderen vonden dit geweldig. Alles was zeer net; uitstekende douche. Mogelijkheid om de private parking te gebruiken. Het ontbijt was zeer lekker, men maakte op aanvraag het eitje dat je wou, voor de kinderen maakte men a la minute verse american pancakes. We hebben genoten van dit verblijf. We zouden deze locatie zeker aanraden bij familie/vrienden. Het is niet in het centrum (20min wandelen), dit zou een minpuntje kunnen zijn voor andere gasten, maar wij vonden dit een voordeel. Het was zeer rustig in de omgeving, geen nachtlawaai.
• Vardan (10/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig, sauber und in sehr guter Lage. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit allem was man benötigt. Sehr empfehlenswert.
• Miguelxavier (10/5): I'd definitely come back here. - Livia was incredibly welcoming and a superhost, really. We felt at home and it was unsurprising as the house was actually where Livia lived when growing up. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked to order including freshly squeezed juice and eggs any style. Very comfy, super close to the city centre but still far enough from all the tourist chaos.
• Penny (10/5): First time in Europe! - First trip to Europe and arriving at Casaldo's Rooms was our first ever experience after a long, exhausting flight from Australia. Easy taxi ride from the airport, clear after-hours instructions for finding and accessing our room late at night. We were in the Superior Room. Very comfortable with everything you need, newly renovated bathroom, outdoor patio, huge amount of space - the massive walk-in wardrobe is impressive! Not super close to the main attractions of Florence, but walkable (25 mins), and we ended up thankful for the quiet. Some good restaurants a couple of blocks away. It was the hospitality of our gorgeous host Livia that made our stay unforgettable. Nothing is too much hassle. She happily booked taxis for us, recommended things to do and where to eat, and prepared the most amazing and delicious breakfasts each morning. She even organised our breakfast on the day we had a very early morning tour booked. We appreciated the little gift left for us on the last day. I'm really glad we booked Casaldo's Rooms! Highly recommended to any couple wanting a fabulous authentic experience when visiting Florence.

• Rozana (8/5): Very good - Very clean and well maintained property. Well located to train station, buses, local cafes/restaurants. Hosts provided good information, thoughtful extras and were very helpful. Excellent breakfast! Also great to have access to laundry facilities. Thank you. The shower is a little cramped, but the bathroom itself is fine.

• Lewis (9/5): The only place I’ll stay in Florence. - Wow! I can't say enough good things about this place. Great location when you are a bit over all the tourist in Italy and you want to be in an actual neighborhood. Short 15/20min walk to the very center. And very flat. Wonderful family home turned B&B...and the host…..wow! She is amazing! Traveler tip: you won't find a better breakfast in all of Florence. I guarantee it- l've tried seriously. Very accommodating with some special requests I made. The bed was comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The parking can be tricky, depending on the timing.

• Bugsy (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating. The suite was very clean and comfortable. The terrace was great for sitting out and relaxing in. Really enjoyed our stay with Livia. Nothing.

• Shanbhag (9/5): Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting florence - Very aesthetically done . it gave a victorian feel . The host Livia was extremely helpful helped us with all our taxi booking and was very kind . Everything was great a lot of cooking utensils too we lived in the family suite so it was great ! Nothing it was great
• Linda (10/5): Perfect stay. - The room was perfect on a quiet street but not too far to walk to centre. Livia & the cook were so friendly and loads of homemade foods for breakfast. Rooftop terrace blissful for relaxing with a wine in the evening. Very quirky decor and a lovely old building. The pillows were too hard but that's my preference.
• Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Livia was a wonderful host and served up an amazing breakfast for us each morning. We were treated with lovely weather so we walked in and out of the main Florence city but there was an easy bus service available nearby the accomodation as well. The room was comfortable and spacious and we would absolutely stay again if we’re lucky enough to come back to Florence.

• Abigail (9/5): Superb - The staff was very helpful and welcoming! The breakfast by Irene was delicious! It's a great location if you're looking to have a little distance from the city center and not stay in the heart of its madness.
• Kylie (10/5): Exceptional - In quiet area, felt safe walking at night. Big spacious room, with comfortable bed and pillows. Bar fridge in the room. Extra details like suggested restaurants, near by supermarkets and drinks and snacks available for purchase at cheap prices. Great breakfast!
• Duncan (10/5): Phenomenal little hotel for a relaxing stay in Florence. - Breakfast was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were charming and very comfy.
