• Robert Rockey (8/5): Good comfortable stay. - After a nondescript lobby, we were pleasantly surprised by the wood finishes in the room decor. Breakfast was good and welcome. A little out of the way, but we found the Benedictine ruins - quite impressive.

Only complaint-I wish the bedroom had a larger trashcan than the one in the bathroom. As pilgrims with injuries, we tend to unload more trash.

• Agnes (9/5): - Helpful receptionist, lovely room and a nice breakfast included ( Continental). Only reduced a score as it was little overpriced during our Camino walk compared to other places. Big supermarcado around 10 minutes walk away. Few bars close by. One of them had fantastic cheesecake and carrot cake. Bit pricey compared to other places we stayed

• Mary (8/5): Good stay on the Camino. - The location is great, right on the Camino. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was comfortable. As is typical in this part of Spain, the beds have one pillow that spans the width of the bed. Can’t flip it to the cool side without waking my husband. Also the shower water could be hotter; the sink water was very hot at the same time the shower was lukewarm.

• HYUNJIN (10/5): - 순례길 걷는 중에 방문 했는데, 인테리어 깔끔하고 커튼 젖히면 방으로 햇볕 환하게 들어오고 청결하게 잘 관리하는 느낌을 받았어요. 리셉션 직원분도 매우 친절하셨고, 바로 옆 건물엔 코인세탁방도 있어서 빨래하기도 조아보였어요. 매우 편안하게 잘 잤습니다 :)

I went to Sahagún as a visitor not as a pilgrim and the Hostal San Juan is a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station and a short distance from all the historical attractions. • Irma (9/5): Renovado y con características de hotel. - Lo que más valoramos de este hostal fue que parecia renovado hacía muy poco. Los detalles de la madera en el cabecero de la cama y ventana marcaban una diferencia y le daban personalidad al lugar. El hostal está bien situado, a 4 minutos andando del centro del pueblo. Se puede llegar con el coche hasta la puerta, aunque está en la carretera, por lo que para dejar los bultos es mejor aparcar (se trata de una zona con muchos huecos y el aparcamiento es gratuito, no está regulado). El checking fue rápido, y la persona que nos atendido era muy amable: se volcó con nosotros, nos facilitó todo tipo de información. Tiene ascensor. La habitación tenía espacio para moverse con comodidad, en la ventana se había habilitado un espacio portamaletas y tenía un armario muy grande. Tenía bastantes enchufes. La habitación estaba muy limpia. Tuvimos el suficiente confort, y calefacción. El baño era suficientemente espacioso. Descansamos muy bien, nosotros no oimos ningún ruido. El desayuno fue abundante, bufet con salado y dulce. Estamos seguros (nos lo ha confirmado gente del pueblo) que no hay por la zona un lugar mejor, con un precio tan ajustado. Para nosotros fue muy bien la relación calidad precio. Por indicar algún aspecto a mejorar, algunos adornos en los espacios comunes darían un aspecto más acabado. Pero son detalles estéticos, no afectan al confort, que fue muy bueno.

• Roswitha (8/5): Hotel in Ordnung für die Durchreise. - Wir waren zu früh angekommen und die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Nach einem Anruf ist sehr rasch jemand gekommen und wir konnten einchecken. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber. Kleines neues Badzimmer. Das Frühstück war zweckmäßig. Die Klimaanlage vor der Fenster. Daher konnten wir das Fenster nicht öffnen, war in einem Dreibettzimmer etwas unangenehm ist.
