• Jane (10/5): Lovely place to stay - All excellent. Lovely welcoming place. Handy for the bus station and nice and quiet for sleeping. Good breakfast in a pleasant patio. 2 friendly dogs and a lemon tree in the patio. Very clean and shower was warm. Nice big towels too. Only 10 minutes stroll to the main square. A perfect finish to our holiday.
• Teresa (10/5): Great guesthouse in a pleasant and quiet area of Villa de Leyva - A great guesthouse in a pleasant and quiet area of Villa de Leyva, just a 10 to 15-minute walk from the main plaza. The breakfast was excellent, and the guesthouse is conveniently located about five minutes from the bus station. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the house and neighbourhood were peaceful. The family who runs the guesthouse is incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available for my endless questions, making my stay even more enjoyable. I also rented one of their bikes to explore areas outside Villa de Leyva, like La Casa Terracota, which was a fantastic experience. Above all, the warmth and hospitality of the family made this place truly special. I highly recommend it! All good.

• Carole (9/5): Superb - Super helpful friendly owners. Great location, quiet square, but only 3 blocks from all the shops and cafes of old town. Breakfast was nice, fresh fruit and choice of eggs and drinks. Our room at the top was a bit airless, as it was in the roof space, but plenty of floorspace and a good shower but down the stairs.
• Anna (10/5): Beautiful guest house in an excellent location. - Breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious every morning. The staff were extremely helpful with assisting us in the process of hiking at Laguna de Iguaque. They were all very friendly, accommodating and patient, always giving helpful information and recommendations when needed. Also two gorgeous dogs to keep you company.

• Jeroen (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are very friendly and will help you with anything! It's a comfy home stay with our own bathroom and within a few minutes you can reach any place in Villa. Busstation is also close for dagtrips to Raquira for example. Would highly recommended! Breakfast is nice!

• Marilyn (5/5): Passable - This location was a huge disappointment. We carefully chose a small hotel with an inner court with a garden and hammocks close to the square and bus station. It was neither. The day before we arrived we were provided with another address. The new address location had 3 rooms and no garden or hammock or inner court. The window in our room was 8 feet high. The only ventilation was from an opening in the bathroom. The door had to be opened for ventilation.. The room was so hot and the sheets were polyester. We could hear every sound in the room next to us. And I mean every sound. We had to pay cash at the reception. No credit card option was available. This was not communicated. The second location should be listed separately. The reviews on google maps show the boutique hotel next door. There I have vented. We had so many options to choose from and we had a very uncomfortable stay in this beautiful village. We have realistic expectations, but do not appreciate that the second location was not clearly identified.
• Viviana (10/5): Very comfortable home for a family. - We ended up renting a 3 bedroom home. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and each room had its own key to the room and to the house. We loved it. Great location; close to a lot of shops and about a block away from Plaza Mayor. The Bedroom facing the street can be a bit noisy from people walking by at night but it wasn’t bad.

• Ramona (10/5): Short, but sweet stay - Perfect choice for exploring Villa de Leyva, beautiful, clean and cozy accommodation with very nice hosts. Thanks to Santiago for offering me some fruits and biscuits for take away in the morning as I did not have time for breakfast.

• Mateo (9/5): Superb - Chavela is a very nice person, her guide to the interesting and cheap places is the best, the location is quite close to the main square and the breakfast is delicious! Late in the night, people visiting the city can be noisy and that will impact the rooms in the front of the house. That can disrupt a good rest specially in the weekends with drunk people walking back to home.

• Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely loved our stay in La Casa de Chavela - very cosy room in a fantastic location near the main square but in a peaceful area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of great tips for the rest of our time in Colombia, and we have to mention Zeus their gorgeous and friendly dog! Can't wait to come back Nothing :)

• Jessica (8/5): nice, clean guest house in a good location - it’s in a great location and is good value for money not having access to a kitchen was a bit inconvenient for us. also the hammocks are lovely but poorly placed and we didn’t feel very comfortable using the common areas as the family are always around

WE ALSO HAD AMAZING COFFEE AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME I LIKED EVERYTHING, THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE AS VERY GOOD. THE FAMILY WAS FRIENDLY, THE FACILITIES WERE ALWAYS CLEAN. WE COULD PARK JUST IN FRONT AND OVERALL VERY CHARMING AND EASY! WE ENJOYED IT, AND THE BEST WAS THE LOCATION, THE MAIN PLAZA WAS JUST RIGHT 2 BLOCKS AWAY PLUS MANY STORES AND ALL VILLA HAS TO OFFER JUST RIGHT THERE.
