- Debbie (10/5): Excellent hotel with great service from the whole team. - We were visiting South Africa for the first time and staying in Jo'burg for a couple of nights to get over jetlag before flying to our safari lodge. The Peech was recommended by friends and it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, organising airport transfers for us. Our room was lovely and very peaceful overlooking the pretty gardens and the whole complex felt very safe & secure. Our stay included breakfast which was good, there are 2 restaurants, 1 for hotel guests only, food and drinks there were good and The Pot Luck Club which is open to the public where we booked / ate on our last night which was exceptional. We would stay again if we return to Jo'burg.

I had a delayed luggage and the staff did everything possible to get it speedy to the hotel. When having a missing luggage I find it pity to charge for a dental kit 🙃

- Marie-adele (9/5): Great little boutique hotel - Will stay there again. - The Peech Hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The hotel's attention to detail is impeccable, from the beautifully designed rooms to the lush garden surroundings.
The rooms are stylishly decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including high-quality toiletries and a well-stocked minibar. While my stay at The Peech Hotel was overall delightful, I must mention that the staff's communication prior to my arrival could have been improved. I found that there were some delays in responding to inquiries and confirming details, which caused a bit of uncertainty and inconvenience. I believe that with a more streamlined communication process, The Peech Hotel could further enhance the guest experience and leave a lasting positive impression.
- Yenny (10/5): Exceptional - The staff, they are really well trained, very professional and did take good care of me. Lovely. I believe they are the best value Can't complain about anything. I wish I could stay longer

- Marie-adele (8/5): Amazing hotel, but bad communication from hotel staff prior to arrival. - The Peach Hotel in Illovo exceeded all expectations! The staff's warm hospitality made my stay truly memorable. The stylish decor and immaculate rooms reflected a commitment to excellence. Conveniently located, it's the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. I can't wait to return! Regrettably, my experience at The Peech Hotel in Illovo was not all rainbows and unicorns.
The communication from the staff prior my arrival is very concerning. My booking was unexpectedly cancelled added stress to my travel plans. And instead of one simple email from the hotel saying it was an error, it took multiple rounds of emails, which, let's face it, was not something I wanted to deal with. Additionally, I asked to book a table at one of their restaurant, the Basalt, and that was an ordeal! Eventually, have multiple email exchanges, I found out that it was closed! If only they lead with that.

- Lize (7/5): Good - It was clean, modern and central We stayed over for our 22nd wedding anniversary and wanted to do some fine dining. But regrettably the fine dining nor wine pairing weren’t great. Not what we expected at all. And we did not have hot water in our bedroom, room 9.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Very high quality property if you don't want a full service five star. Cool rooms, thoughtful facilities, great staff and food.
- Minette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vk (8/5): Hearing mixed messages about safety in Johannesburg, the Peech Hotel was perfect. - Breakfast was wonderful. The area was a bit crowded and table and chairs small, but worked for us. Location was far out from walking distance to anything, but it was safe and secure. When I asked one of the young desk clerks at check-in for a map she said they had none. We were not able to get any helpful tips or information about the area from her. At least a map and help with some of the highlights would be nice.
- Johanna (9/5): Calm and secluded oasis in the middle of Johannesburg - Very secluded and calm, does not feel like you are in the middle of Johannesburg. Extensive and delicious breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.
- Lara (9/5): Superb -
