• Pepi (10/5): Highly recommended - We stayed at Old City Nizami apartment for 3 nights. We had a great experience thanks to the host, who took us from the airport and arranged an excursion to Gobustan and transfer to another hotel near the Caspian Sea. The location of the apartment is excellent - close to the old city. It is spacious, clean and cosy. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are supermarkets nearby. -

• Imransaqib (10/5): Exceptional - Specious space apartment with excellent WiFi 2 bedrooms/1 well-equipped kitchen/1 large living room with 2 oversized sofa-cum beds 1washroom equiped with toiletries. Excellent location Just a 10-12 minute walk to Nizami Street. Nearby attractions include Təzəpir Mosque (8-minute walk) and Mohammad Mosque (15-minute walk). Grocery stores are conveniently located just 2 minutes away. Highly recommended. Only 1wash room. 1Bed room mattress need to replaced. 3 LCDs were present but none were working.
• Ahad (8/5): Great Location & Amenities, But Some Improvements Needed - I had a pleasant stay at Old City Apartment. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old City, making it convenient to explore Baku’s historical charm. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The fridge, oven, and burner worked perfectly, and all necessary cooking items were available, making it ideal for those who prefer home-cooked meals. There was also a washing machine, though I didn’t use it. However, there were a few minor inconveniences. The water heating takes some time to start, and the water pressure could be improved. The building has a very old lift, but it is still functional. Additionally, the owner requested me to cancel the booking, seemingly for commission purposes, which might not be ideal for all travelers. Overall, my experience was good, and I appreciate the hospitality. With a few improvements, this place could be an even better choice for travelers looking to stay in the heart of Baku. However, there were a few minor inconveniences. The water heating takes some time to start, and the water pressure could be improved. The building has a very old lift, but it is still functional. • Anna (10/5): Ideal for families with kids or groups - It is amazing for families, groups of friends, the rooms are quite spacious and clean. And the location is just perfect, near subway, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
• Ashraf (4/5): Nice and clean building in central location but no elevator on the 8th floor! - The place was clean and had very good central location. The Apartment was on the 8th floor and the elevator was not working. Very old building and i do not think the elevator can be fixed in the future. We had to climb 8 flights of stairs every time we went out!! Description on booking.com said three bedrooms, when we arrived, we discovered it was only 2-bedroom apartment and the owner mentioned that the living room is the third bedroom. This was not right and misleading. The shower did not work also and these issues should have been corrected and fixed before renting the apartment.
