• Willem Jan (8/5): - Prachtig en mooi ingericht appartement. keurig schoon dicht bij centrum. De gordijnen in de slaapkamer zijn rolgordijnen alleen aan beide kanten niet breed genoeg waardoor je iedere dag om 5 uur klaar wakker bent door de felle zon in je gezicht. Zonde dat daar op beknibbeld is. Ze zijn ook kapot dus is mosschien een idee ze te vervangen.

• Cuixiao (10/5): - The location of hotel is convenient, walking distance from train station, the car parking is free and safe which is located in the closed area behind the hotel. The apartment is super new, spacious, well designed with sufficient equipments. The hotel provides all the necessary information in advance. It would be nice to have a box of issue in the living room.

• Tom Lumb. (7/5): - Ruim modern appartement dicht bij het centrum. Goed afgesloten parking aan de accomodatie. Handleidingen van de toestellen voorzien (TV, oven, microgolfoven,..). Gordijnen houden het licht niet goed buiten in de slaapkamers.

• Marko (9/5): - Location - distance from the train station - is perfect. Also, the city center is close by... Apartment is equipped with amazing kitchen, has a cozy terrace and a per-fect bathroom, while sleeping rooms are spacious and bright, overlooking amazing garden at the back of the building. Hygiene is not as great as you would expect from the pictures and for that price. Also, there are no slippers, which is a pity (while there is everything else in the bathroom really), so it's challenging to walk bear foot on cold floor covered in ceramics, so we ended up wearing our shoes most of the time in the apartment...

Enttäuschend. - Großzügige, modern eingerichtete Wohnung in schöner Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und fußläufig zur Innenstadt (500 m). Schöner überdachter Balkon mit Aussicht auf den Platz. Schlafzimmer ruhig gelegen zur Rückseite, sehr gute Betten und reichlich Kissen. Moderne, große Küche. Sehr schön angelegter Garten. Kostenlose sichere Autostellplätze. Gute Vorabinformationen. - Entgegen der Ankündigung auf der Website war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Code für Schlüssel Last Minute über WhatsApp zugesendet. Immerhin hat der Zugang dann problemlos geklappt. - Überkomplizierte Check-in-Prozedur vom Vermieter gefordert. Bestandsaufnahme des Inventars quer durch die Wohnung anhand von zahlreichen Fotos, muss dann online bestätigt werden. Hat uns fast 30 min gekostet. Unzumutbar für eine einzige Übernachtung. - Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft an vielen Stellen verschmutzt (Toilette, Kühlschrank, Herd, Böden, Sofa), siehe Bilder. Fingernägel und Haare im Bad sind absolut indiskutabel, auf diesem Preisniveau sowieso. - Diverse, offensichtlich seit längerem nicht behobene Schäden (Jalousie im Bad, Couchtisch), siehe Bilder. Besonderes krass: Herausgerissene Lampe im Kinderzimmer mit offenliegenden Elektrokabeln, das geht gar nicht. - Fernbedienungen der Jalousien funktionieren nur teilweise, vermutlich Batterien leer. - Minimalistisch ausgestattete Küche (4 Teller, 4 Tassen, ein einziges Küchenmesser, kein brauchbarer Kochtopf). Kochen wird zur Herausforderung. - Stattdessen überflüssige Schickimicki-Features wie Weinkühlschrank. - Wohnung hatte bei Ankunft 29 Grad. Trotz der großen Fensterfronten ist niemand auf die Idee gekommen die Sonnenschutz-Jalousien vor unserer Ankunft zu schließen. Die Probleme wurden direkt nach Ankunft an die Unterkunft gemeldet. Außer einer lahmen Entschuldigung für die Unsauberkeit wurden keine weiteren Lösungen angeboten.
• Maya (9/5): Sophisticated modern apartment in a must-see town - Excellent apartment. The garden is impressive. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the garden arriving late in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped. The fridge is large and comes with ice. A bath tub is big. A lovely terrace with a view of the Cathedral. We could charge our car (although you needed a card which the host kindly brought it up in the morning). Check-in was easy. Check-out was simple. There are also a washing machine and a dryer which was useful. The communication with the host was smooth. The bedding/towels were top quality (cotton) and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Mons is an amazing historical town - we wish we could have stayed there longer. A walking distance from the Cathedral and town centre! Just friendly advice: You might want to install mosquito nets in the bathroom. We found a dozen of them in the bathroom at night, of which a few came into our bedroom. I would bring laundry detergent next time. A few espresso cups (demitasse) would have been useful!

• Lidiya (10/5): Simply amazing accommodation! - Absolutely superb accommodation - modern, airy, spacious, well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was not just an accommodation to stay in for a few nights - you could actually move into this apartment permanently. Everything has been designed and built with a clear purpose in mind, such as phone charger shelves near the bed, remote control blinds on the inside and out in the lounge, high-tech light switches, TV with Netflix, an amazing bathroom, a utility room. The list is infinitely longer, but this is just a taster. Absolutely nothing!

• Indian444 (10/5): Luxury apartment that I wish I owned. - This was a lovely apartment. I was almost too busy trying to find the fittings online to buy them! You won't be disappointed. This is a high end conversion with luxury fittings. The terrace is fantastic. The staff are super relaxed and there is a very informal feel to the building. The parking was great and they are super dog friendly. Gorgeous bathroom and lovely sheets. The shops downstairs were cute and fun. The breakfast was also relaxed although there were limited hot options. The only downside was the lack of communication. I messaged quite a few times before arriving as it was a birthday but I didn't hear back. It was a language barrier issue though, nothing else.

No instructions received for the arrival, I had to wait in front of the address given to find out that the entrance was on a side street, no indications provided. Dirty towel left on the bathroom Blind of the bathroom big window broken (meaning you shower in front of the neighbours and client of the hotel), repaired on 3rd day Electricity black out on the 4th day, meaning no lift any more No hot water after blackout until I was able to get to the owner Owner not very responsive, doesn't reply to messages or phone calls, she is there only when the shop is open (not every day). I asked the invoice, still haven't received one (was told was automatic after check out, after 24 hours still not there). Full amount blocked on credit card (+/- 1.000 euros) + 300 for deposit and still asked to pay in advance the full amount. The deposit (1.300 euros) is still blocked on the credit card after 24 hours from check out.

• Stephen (9/5): Beautiful and comfortable apartment, very close to the town centre. - There is no doubt the apartment is amazing. It's well-fitted out, very modern, and we loved the outdoor seating area beyond the kitchen/dinning area. There is a very well-stocked mini bar and we found everything we needed to prepare a simple meal from the small supermarket in town. The bar/restaurant behind the apartment is also beautiful. We only stayed one night but could have happily stayed longer. It's an easy walk from the apartment into town and we were able to park our car on site, despite having a large sized car. The apartment is almost too clever! We couldn't work out some of the technology, or get internet access. It didn't matter as we were only staying one night. We also couldn't work out how to access the apartment when we arrived. The information we received said somebody would meet us there but they didn't and the apartment was still being cleaned. The lady in the shop below helped by phoning the owner and making all the arrangements, the same happened when leaving the next day.

The shop/front of building was closed when we arrived so we had to ring the host to say we had arrived. If you don’t speak French I would recommend a translation app to use to help with the language barrier.

• Guus (8/5): Luxury and nice, but not perfect. - The luxury of the penthouse is great. The looks and feels are super and the appearance is posh, good. The appartment is spacious incl a large kitchen and indoor balcony. One of the dormitories is super large incl own bathroom and is great. The private parking at the back is very nice, but might be a bit tidy, something to pre-check with the owner. For the amount of money, some details could be worked out a bit better. The second dormitory was actually an open, well decorated, attic, sort of vide. Therefor all sounds are to be heard in that bed. It has its own shower and sink, but no real closet-space. The kitchen is spacious, but misses basic stuff that should go with a kitchenette of this price, like some paper-kitchen-towels and dishwasher-tabs. The host is very nice, but does not speak English, thats not helpful. To our questions how the fireplace worked, no response was given, that was a pity, since its something you're paying for as luxury. Unfortunately, we had bad weather. With such a weather conditions, a heater on the balcony would be expected. A extra toilet would have been nice, maybe in the large bathroom.

• Giles (10/5): A gem of an apartment in Mons - This is a remarkable place, with wonderfully prepared and kept apartment rooms with all facilities (including free coffee capsules and a well-stocked alcohol cupboard at clearly stated prices) beautifully maintained. Breakfast in the garden tepee was a real treat, an amazingly full platter of bread, meat and preserves along with hot and cold drinks. The place itself is amazing and has clearly been lovingly restored and designed. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful, despite our respective language limits. Nothing
