• Alexandra (4/5): Very loud and not very clean - The view was nice The soundproofing is non-existent, you can hear everything in the room next to you, very loud sounds of traffic and music from the outside late at night. There was also some kind of pumping operation outside the window working day and night. The area around the hotel smells bad. The room is not very clean and tired (but okay/expected for a budget stay)

• Sonja (9/5): Very comfortable stay with friendly and helpful staff! - The staff was extremely helpful! And the facility was very clean. Very affordable. We stayed there four nights. We were also able to have our laundry done with an additional cost, but still very affordable! The rooms were small, but still sufficient for our stay. There is no breakfast provided with this location, but we knew that ahead of time.

• Ashish (5/5): Average stay - The location is right in front of the lake and there are a lot of Cafes around. There is a foot path which stretches along the length of the road which is good and keeps you away from the traffic. Much quieter than living in Old Quarter. Rooms are very small, the photos make it look as standard size. No privacy curtains with the bathrooms. The road does get busy and noisy during the rush hours and drive to the old quarter can extend upto 35 mins. Lot of coffee options but very few dining options nearby.

I just wish the “city view” wasn’t facing an empty gravel lot and there is certainly slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Quite noisy outside too so if you’re a light sleeper, make sure to bring earplugs

One of the best aspects of my stay was the breathtaking view of West Lake (Ho Tay). From my room, I had an unobstructed, panoramic view of the lake, which was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. The view really enhanced my experience and made the stay feel special. The hotel’s location is also excellent, as it’s just a short distance from major attractions in Hanoi. Unfortunately, it is quite loud and I could hear the neighbours in the next room. I was there over a weekend so there was also a loud party going on in the neighbourhood.

It's a good option if you want to have a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of old town. Laundry service available for a small fee. Great views of the lake. Option to take a quiet stroll by the lake at night or in the morning. Good wifi. Convenience store nearby. Nothing noteworthy.

The views over the lake are worth the room. Could have been cleaner, no breakfast available at the hotel. The staff on our arrival seemed like they wanted to be elsewhere (as well as during our initial contact). Bed is typical hard mattress. Table on balcony missing feet so couldn’t sit at it was so wobbly.
