• Philip (10/5): - The minute I walked in I loved the feel of it. It was lashing rain and tbh it helped raise my spirits. The whole decor was amazing. The place was spotless. Well equipped. Warm and homely. Very central. I loved everything, it was my favourite place. There was no lock on the bathroom door. That's it!

• Lisa (10/5): Wohlfühloase in Cairns - Die Unterkunft war großartig. Es war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man hat sich direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war klasse, es gab sogar eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, es ist ca. 15 min vom Flughafen weg und das Meer ist fu ẞläufig in 15 Minuten erreichbar. /

Cathy turned out to be a true treasure with suggestions and advice on our stay in Cairns.. There was nothing that detracted from our stay in this amazing place.

Beds and pillows are very comfortable, everything was clean and lots of kitchenware to make food at home. Decor of the house is beautiful, it felt like a home away from home. Lovely full fruit bowl was so helpful. Location is great, 1 min away from Cairns Central.

• Nicholas (9/5): Absolutely loved our stay in Cairns at Cathy's cottage. - The property is in a great location for visiting the local Cairns sites on foot and is also easy to access day trips heading in all directions. There is a supermarket and shopping centre very close and Rusty's market is only a short walk away. The kitchen was well set up making it easy to prepare meals at home. There is a great outdoor eating area. The size of the house was perfect for our family of four. The outdoor shower was great too! We liked being able to keep up to the washing with the on-site washer and dryer. The great location being close to the city does mean that there is obviously going to be traffic noise, however given all the great things about this place, it is worth the slight noise. Note, that we live in a rural area and are not used to a lot of traffic noise at home.

• Beverley (10/5): Just perfect - Cathy’s Cottage was perfect for what we required. Its proximity to the main train station and main shopping centre was perfect. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could require for self catering. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on while traveling around Australia. Having secure parking for our hire car took a lot of stress away.
