Guest Reviews
- Marc (4/5): Barra libre inventada, camping muy sucio y lejos -
- Andres (8/5): -
- Lianka (1/5): - Nothing Everything
- Markvardsen (8/5): -
- Froy (3/5): - The tent was very small & cold...
Obrigado.
- Petra_slo (8/5): Great location, but bring earplugs. - Location was good, close to the U bahn and nice river.
Breakfast was amazing - bunch of cereals, bread, chocolate spread, peanut butter, slami, cheese. But it got quite crowded during the weekend, on weekdays it was perfect.
They provided a tiny "mattress" and a sleeping bag. Tent was super small. Bathrooms were disgusting and closed for 3 hours during the cleaning time.
You have to pay additionally to have a warm shower.
Advice: bring earplugs. 😅

- Giulio (2/5): Bad - not much to say - Not much, it's just the only affordable accommodation in Munich . Small tents, very dirty toilets, no hot hot shower even paying. Basically just a very poor camping.
- Conor (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pongsapak (5/5): Passable - It was as advertised. Very cold at night.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Javier (6/5): Moody - The forest vibes It was dirty all the time and had no parties in the night like other years.
- Aidan (3/5): Poor -
- Amy (7/5): Affordable camping - Great location at an affordable price. Staff are friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere amongst the people there. Bathroom facilities could be improved
- Karepa (5/5): You'll be getting exactly what you paid for - meeting new people. the facilities were pretty sad and the room for two in a tent was marginal.
- Brandon (8/5): Very good -
- Aman (10/5): Exceptional - Staff behavior Accommodation and washroom cleanliness
- Thomas (1/5): Bad - The property was nothing like what was described in the booking. I was guaranteed two twin beds and I had to sleep on the ground with no sleeping bag or anything. Thank god I brought my own blanket and pillow or I would’ve had nothing. I was guaranteed a connected bathroom and I had to hike a half a mile just to use it. I’ll list screen shots and pictures below. I’m extremely disappointed and I would like a refund. This is false advertising and absurd.
- Soumik (2/5): Worst tent experience - The breakfast was good Mostly everything else. We booked 2 singke tents, they gave us 1 double tent. They told us on the first day that we could take additional linens. However, when we asked for them, they clearly denied it. Staffs were not cooperative. The place and the washrooms were extremely dirty.
- Stefano (7/5): Good experience with a low budget - The atmosphere in general in the camping is really good, a lot of people from all the world here to have fun and make new friends, the staff was great too, always helpful.
The position of the camping is really good, in a lovely park near the river and just a few minutes to the underground, so in about 20 minutes you can easily get to the city centre.
Price is good and I've liked the breakfast included.
With few money you can park your car directly in the camp and this was much comfortable for us.
After all I'm really happy of the experience and I think that even it is not the top for comfort that's the thing that make this "surviving nights" in the camp so special, so I recommend to everyone to spend a couple of days here during the Munich Oktoberfest. In general was a little dirty and chaotic, but I think it's quite understandable considering that almost all the guests are guys here just for the Oktoberfest. Anyway it could be cleaner, expecially the bathroom, which are not exactly comfortable.
Tents are ok but little and even if I liked the fact they give you sleeping bag and camping mat these are not very comfortable, even considering tha fact that there is often noises which disturb you.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Atit (7/5): Good -
- Paulo (7/5): Good - It was ok. They offer all the necessary. The quality and quantity of the bathrooms.
- Devin (7/5): Good - They staff are amazing and super helpful Its alot farther from oktoberfest then decribed
- Bronnie (6/5): Pleasant - It's budget tenting after all, and didn't help it rained the entire time but tents really only good for one if its went, otherwise does the job when you have a steins on board. Not sure much gets cleaned especially the toilets.
- José (8/5): The staff was friendly, and there was a good atmosphere at nights. - The location of the campament because it was easy to catch public transport. I didn’t like that people must pay for hot showers.
- Miranda (1/5): Bad -
- Ana (2/5): Campsite has no infrastructure to welcome guests - If you're looking for a cheap place, this is definitely it, but don’t expect them to be prepared for guests. My friends and I booked beds in a dormitory, but instead of a room, we got a “tent”. Everything was filthy, including the mattress and bedding. We had to beg for a sleeping bag, and most people didn’t get one. Be warned: it gets very cold at night. The bathrooms were dirty, which I expected, but having to pay extra for a hot shower that barely works is ridiculous. Also, there are no outlets in the tents—only at the reception—so bring a power bank!
- Gibitu (1/5): I left the campsite from the night I arrived to the following morning. - Near Oktoberfest Too small of a ten for 2 people, slugs everywhere, the sleeping bags were gross/aged out + the fact that I had to bring my own pillow & shower towel etc was annoying + the bathrooms were gross - they didn’t have hand soap! “Continental Breakfast” was a joke! All they had was instant coffee bread. They don’t emphasize how cold it is overnight enough. The place costed more than it offered!!
- Eugenio (8/5): Very good -
- Romi (1/5): Bad -
- Hamed (7/5): Good -
- Kalem (8/5): Very good -
- Harvinder (1/5): Pay 2.10 for bath. - Nothing to like All
- Nisha (6/5): Pleasant - The tent is quite clean. Too noise. We couldnt sleep. A group of people are still hanging around till 4 o’clock. A group of people came and maybe the thougth they were alone in the campsite. And when it’s raining, our tent were leaking. We had to move to our car.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - -breakfast
-bathroom facilities
-riverwalks
-socializing with other guests in breakfast tent
-laundry -very congested campground
-pricey
-charge for hot shower
-different names from website, no signs, hard to find
- Mochánová (8/5): Very good - great breakfast, great staff during bathroom closure, no way to use the toilet because other bathroom was reconstructed
- Anas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ishrat (7/5): Good -
- Ravi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcclements (7/5): Good -
- Soufyane (1/5): Bad - nothing. I was calling all night to find a hotel and all were full because of the match day so I passed the night outside I don't recommend this to anyone I was calling the number and no one answered me I was outside and start raining I was in a terrible situation so to anyone who wanted this I don't advice you.
the worst experience I had since I started travelling
- Morabet (1/5): This property is managed by thieves - AWFUL EXPERIENCE. THEFT AKIN TO HIGHWAY ROBBERY. THE PROPERTY RIPPED ME OFF Awful experience. Theft, akin to highway robbery. The property ripped me off
- Jethim (8/5): Over all, it was a great experience, it wasnt hard to stay there. - It was a new experience for me to stay in a tent for couple days When we arrive, the compound was in enhancing, the city government was doing a contractions.
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Mcclements (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hassan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michael (10/5): great stay, lovely aea and easy to get to . Staff fantastic - breakfast excellent, plenty of food, great location, lovely area and easy to get to. Staff very helpful and couldn't do more for your stay. hopefully will be back
- Robert (7/5): Good - The value for money The main reception man trying to kick us off the site after following instructions to go by reception and follow the left path within the email. He chased us round after checking in where email said. However they failed to say u need to pay for parking at the main gate first. I didn't know who he was and demanded my passport I showed him it and he took it out my hands and cycled off with it I had to chase him down to reception after fearing the worse.
- Floor (3/5): Tent, not dormitories - The staff was kind I booked a bunkbed in a dormitory. I got a tent with a thin sleeping mat and thin sleeping bag. It was ice cold and ground was uncomfortable!
I also got a confirmation that checking in between 15.00 and 16.00. I was present at 14.50 and had to wait at the reception until 18.45...
Parking is not free, even though it's advertised
- Maia (1/5): The stay could not have been worse. - It was freezing cold, you have to pay for hot water, you are sleeping on the ground unless you pay extra for a sleeping mat or sleeping bag. The whole experience.
- Anonymous (8/5): A great way to meet new people! - I loved all the people and the staff! The women’s section was amazing too! It was pretty uncomfortable but that was expected staying in a tent! It was a little far from town but also expected going in!
- Marcos (1/5): Worst place I’ve been - Nothing
- Miljan (8/5): Very good - The place, the staff They said it was hot breakfast
- Federica (2/5): Never again - Nothing Dirty place
- Govind (1/5): Unpleasant and tiring - After party Space for 1 person in tent with breakfast which is bad and not enough
- Regitse (1/5): Bad - We made the booking with two unit beds but there was none when we arrived. We informed the personal about the situation and they told us that there was a mistake and that the beds were not include, so we had to go out and buy two mattress!
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Nathan (3/5): The place to be if you're a party animal. some start early and most go all night . loud & udy bu - If you're a party animal and you want to be with people who go all day, this is the place to meet like minded people. Loud, roudy and a campground that is true to its description in all sense of the word. Quite hours weren't enforced. The campground was cash only.
- Anonymous (1/5): Cold - Nothing Everything
- Ricardo (1/5): Bad - The place to recharge devices was open and without security, and then i had my power bank stolen in this accomodation.
- Leandro (1/5): worst service in my life - They sell a packet alone stay in the tenda but try to convence you that will necessary (force you)stay with another stranger in your alone tenda! Treatment, no profissional
- Grace (10/5): Worth the stay - Fun place to stay, they have breakfast in the mornings and they throw a party with great music in the evenings! Be sure to pack layers because it was quite chilly at night.
- Aleksa (9/5): Superb - Great staff and other visitors of the camp around A bit small tents and difficult to charge the phone
- Oscar (6/5): Pleasant - After party and breakfast Price and forced two day stay. The address provided by Booking.com was wrong and I ended up paying $80 us dollars for an Uber to get to correct address. Later I discovered there were two addresses and one was for a Hostel not the Oktoberfest on a budget
- Shrutika (7/5): Budget stay - I loved the location. Very convenient to reach from the city. The park has lovely views with lake . Good for morning walks . The tents are passable if you are on a budget with sleeping bags of course. The weather gets colder at night and only sleeping bags can help. Breakfast was good in range for the price
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Marcelo (6/5): Lovely - Access No places to charge
- Anna (8/5): A really fun and social environment with great staff to support - the staff were really friendly and helpful the bathrooms had the toilet paper removed which was a big inconvenient and the tents were on the small side
- Livingston (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was absolutely incredible, the campsite was super easy to get to and from the Oktoberfest festival, and there's a super cool surfing river right by the campsite that you've got to check out! Look, you're camping in Munich weather... if you're not prepared then that's on you! Be sure to bring extra layers and don't be afraid to ask the staff for extra sleeping bags because they're free to ask for extra!
- Aoife (10/5): Got exactly what I was expecting with this, and then some! Amazing value for Oktoberfest accomm. - Staff and volunteers was soooo lovely!! Energy of the campsite was infectious, high spirits made the tent stay bearable! It was a tent, so it wasn't luxurious, but that's what I signed up for.
- Filippo (2/5): First and last camping for me - check-in at any hour Staff was very lazy.
It is very expensive for what you get.
Too few hot showers, which by the way you have to pay.
- Yash (1/5): Bad -
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Euxide (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (3/5): Poor -
- Umair (9/5): Superb -
- Charles (2/5): Very poor - I paid for the upgrade to all inclusive, was not worth it, the bottomless brunch was a sausage on bread and a cup of yoghurt, the unlimited mimosa ran out within 20min. The tents were tiny, not a 2 person tent. The food at the accommodation was more expensive than oktoberfest. And was really far from the festival. Not worth it
- Wannaree (8/5): Very good -
- Daniela (1/5): Bad -
- Prafful (1/5): Bad -
- Ty (5/5): Passable - "Cheap" place to "sleep" Noise. Bathrooms.
- Andréa (5/5): Passable - the included breakfast was fine
the camping is not far from the city, easy connection with bus and U bahn. paying hot shower
noises at night
- Keisuke (6/5): Pleasant -
- Renatter (1/5): Bad - I didn't like anything about this campground I changed campsites with the upgrade option to have more comfort, because the campsite that I closed didn't have a sleeping bag or inflatable mattress, but I was deceived because the option that I paid for more upgrades, the infrastructure left something to be desired, the bathrooms were very dirty and clogged, when I arrived from the event I was prevented from using the bathroom because it was clogged, I paid for an upgrade in the option for a couple and they put me in the tent that fits only one person, my boyfriend and I were cramped and without space. Breakfast had no drinks and only food, no rain cover, the sleeping bag, the zipper didn't close, the inflatable mattress was very uncomfortable and didn't even fill properly, sleeping tight and with body aches and feeling cold. I had two nights and managed to stay just one day after so much frustration, and when I went to check out earlier in the hope that they would refund my money, they didn't even try to solve my problem and told me to write an email to the team. And the team also didn't make a point of solving my problem in a friendly way. In short, I paid more than my colleague to have more comfort and in the end I had more discomfort, I just wanted her to return the diary of the other day, since I left earlier. No one from the staff tried to offer a bigger tent or try any solution so the least they could have done is to return the night I didn't use. I don't recommend this campsite to anyone, I've camped several times in my life, and I've never seen a place as disorganized as this.
- Sanjaykumar (5/5): Passable -
- Nicola (2/5): Very poor -
- Katherine (2/5): We ended leaving early to stay in a hotel because it was so bad - We liked the beer and sangria The tents were horribly uncomfortable and really far from the bathrooms, there were rats, it was loud all through the night with people disturbing our tent until 6am, the ‘breakfast’ was literally sausages with different bread and plain yogurt with oats.
- Paolo (6/5): Pleasant - Party Toilette, they should obliged people to go to the Toilette with slippers
- Cassiany (4/5): For the space provided and price, it could have been better. - The location and the green area. The toilet all the time dirty, I booked a tent for two but it felt more like one person and the inflatable mattress they gave didn't inflate and we practically slept on the floor. They say breakfast lasts until 10 am, but there were people who didn't have breakfast and it was 9:30 and they didn't replace food.
- Johan (1/5): the worst stay of my life - Nothing The bathrooms were filthy, the campsites were too basic, I got wet on the ground so cold and wet that I couldn't sleep because of the cold. They charge for sleeping bags, for showers they charge 2 euros for a coin that you have to put in a machine to get hot water, one of the showers didn't work, the food was disgusting and frozen. I do not recommend anyone to go to this place ever. postscript: they didn't even give blankets for the cold
- Mclaughlin (3/5): Budget review for a budget holiday👌 - The actual oktoberfest festival Tents poorly looked after, toilet blocks were vile (not cleaned for the entirety of our stay) a 10pm-6am quiet rule was not enforced (couldn't get any sleep). Won't be coming back again
- Davide (6/5): One time experience - It was an affordable accomodation compared to Munich price during Oktoberfest Tents are small and the facilities are acceptable but quite poor, with the rain it gets worse
- Gurkaran (10/5): Exceptional -
