- Josh and Nina (9/5): Perfect stay in the mountains - What a lovely place in the mountains to stay here in Brez. Brez is very small and we loved this vibe. We stocked up on groceries down in town and stayed for a few days. Our room felt like its own apartment, it had a small lounge, massive kitchen and a dinning table. We ate most of our meals outside with the stunning view of the mountains surrounding us. Parking is just outside the village, and a short walk up.

- Elena (10/5): - El alojamiento se sitúa en un pueblo a 10 minutos de Potes, con unas vistas a las montañas preciosas. Si buscas tranquilidad, es tu sitio. Aceptan perros y el suplemento por mascota es de 5 euros noche por mascota. En nuestro caso tenemos 2, uno de 25 kilos y no tuvimos ningún tipo de problema con ello. Lo comento ya que a veces tenemos problemas para encontrar sitios donde acepten a más de un perro o a un perro mediano grande, por si puede ayudar a alguien en el mismo caso. Cristina es una persona muy agradable, se presta a ayudar en todo momento. Volveremos seguro. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente.

- Vero (8/5): Una estancia agradable. - El apartamento es grande y cómodo, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. El check in es muy sencillo. Tiene una zona con barbacoa que se puede usar. El acceso al apartamento con coche es muy difícil debido a las grandes cuestas que tiene.

Yo buscaba un sitio de paz y tranquilidad y ha sido la mejor elección !! El apartamento era súper acogedor, súper limpio y muy organizzando, cómodo y con toques de estilo rústico muy acertados. Es un punto estratégico para ir a varios puntos de interés, rutas y pueblos. El que más lo ha disfrutado ha sido mi perro.. y la propietaria también muy maja y disponible. Ojalá poder volver pronto

- KIUNNEI (3/5): Evitar apartamento planta baja - Ubicación, vistas increíbles, rutas de senderismo al lado. En nuestro apartamento de la planta baja en una de las habitaciones había moho. Olía a humedad en el apartamento, tuvimos reacción alérgica muy fuerte y no podíamos dormir bien, tuvimos que cambiarnos a otro alojamiento para la última noche. No deberían alojar a nadie en ese apartamento hasta que solucionen el problema del moho.

- L (8/5): - Locatie is prachtig gelegen. Wij hadden helaas het appartement zonder uitzicht, maar die heb je wel vanaf het gedeelde terras. Verder appartement prima uitgerust. Fijn dat we ook de wasmachine konden gebruiken. Let op dat het laatste stukje ernaartoe erg steil is. Wij kwamen vast te zitten, maar eigenaresse heeft ons heel fijn geholpen.

Carretera en buenas condiciones. El acceso a la casa es un poco dificil, pero es solo una vez y merece la pena sufrirlo para acceder a las vistas desde el apartamento. Desconectas a tope.Gracias por todo a Cristina y José Miguel. Un fuerte abrazo El difícil acceso hasta la casa, pero estás en la montaña y yo vengo de Ciudad.No estoy acostumbrada. Y depende del coche que tengas. Pero puedes dejarlo abajo y no subir hasta arriba con coche.

- Ramón Cabele (7/5): Estancia para Rutear - El apartamento dispone de todo lo necesario y la ubicación es perfecta para salir de ruta. El paraje que rodea los apartamentos y las vistas son espectaculares. El acceso no es para todo el mundo; personas mayores o con alguna dificultad física. El apartamento pide a gritos mosquiteras en todas las ventanas; es una necesidad. Como sugerencia de mejora: un aire acondicionado en el salón. En nuestro caso las habitaciones daban a una calle y se oían a los perros, propios de la zona, o las salidas del resto de inquilinos. Es un sitio rodeado de naturaleza, pero no me pareció tranquilo teniendo en cuenta lo aislado que está.

- Mesas Fernandez (9/5): - Aunque el acceso hasta el alojamiento (no hasta Brez) sea un poco complicado (sin problema si confías 100% en tu coche 😅) vale la pena, la zona es espectacular. El apartamento está muy bien, cómodo, bien equipado, no le falta de nada y de una limpieza impecable. La terraza es una maravilla, se está súper a gusto. Cristina es muy amable y muy simpática, aunque discreta, te brinda toda la ayuda que necesites.

Se duerme y se descansa muy bien en la cama. El personal (Cristina) muy maja y atenta. En las instalaciones hay un mirador que mola mucho. El sofá super incómodo.

- Chris (5/5): Passable - The location of the apartments is absolutely stunning. A fair drive up from the main road at the bottom with spectacular views of the Picos. The staff who checked us in were really pleasant and helpful. It's quite close to Potes and also to the cable car at Fuente De. The apartment is exceptionally basic and very tired looking. Some of the catches for the shutters on the windows were missing or broken. The shower curtain rail was held together with thoughts and prayers - which meant it kept coming apart at the most inconvenient times. Despite the photograph of a car parked outside of the apartments, there isn't actually any parking allowed - you need to leave your car a short walk away. The beds weren't the most comfortable and there was only one long pillow so didn't have the best night's sleep.

- James (9/5): Superb - The large stone building is divided into several apartments. The one I rented had absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Well worth driving the winding mountain roads to get there. The host was not at the property during my stay, but kept in close touch via WhatsApp to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The 1 bedroom apartment was large with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, great hot water for showering and cleaning up, several wall heaters to make it comfortable in the cold weather and very good wifi. The town itself is quite rural. I didn't see any grocery store or restaurant in the community. You will need a car to get there. But, if you don't mind driving the mountain roads this place is a gem. Be sure to stock up in a nearby town like Potes before you arrive.

- Andrew (9/5): Peaceful mountain getaway - The apartment is on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, a solid winding 20 minutes from Potes. There is a patio with an incredible view with tables to eat outside or enjoy a glass of wine. The ensuite dining room is adequate in cold or inclement weather. The kitchen fixtures are a bit dated, but perfectly clean and fully functional. The kitchen ware is also clean and we had no doubts about using it. At night, it was clear and dark enough to see the Milky Way. The owner is friendly and helpful. WiFi works fine despite the aforementioned middle-of-nowhereness. The last 20 meters of driveway are steep and quite a challenge in a midsize station wagon, and likely impossible in anything smaller. You may therefore have to do some light hiking with your baggage.

- Ashton (8/5): Comfortable Stay, Incredible View! - The location was incredible! We loved the view and the outdoor terrace. It was about 15-20 minutes from Potes, so easy to access restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Our host was really nice and when she met us with the keys she was kind enough to give us local restaurant recommendations. The apartment isn't very well stocked with kitchen supplies/dishes/etc. This wasn't a huge problem for us as we only cooked once, but the random assortment would've been bothersome if we planned to cook more.

- James (10/5): Exceptional - If you are looking for a place to stay in Los Picos, away from the bustle of Potes, surrounded by nature, fresh air, the sound of birds chirping in the morning, and with fantastic views from your window, then I cannot recommend Las Rocas enough. The host Cristina and her family were delightful and made me feel instantly at home. I had travelled alone to Los Picos and was not sure what to expect from the accommodation. When I arrived in Brez, a remarkably authentic and peaceful agricultural village overlooking the valley below, I could not believe that I had stumbled upon this beautiful place online. There is a gentle woodland walk around the area that starts from the front door will take about two hours. When I went in early June, the path was lined with beautiful wildflowers. You can fill up your water bottle from the natural spring water tap that flows healthily just outside the property. Alternatively Fuente De is about 25 minutes drive away, where you can take the cable car into the mountains for a more challenging walk. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. I found it the perfect place to relax after walking in the hills, and a great base for spending my time exploring Los Picos. I can’t wait to go back!
