• Ujvari (5/5): Nem volt komfortos, nem mennék vissza. - Szuper elhelyezkedés. Szép, új hatású bútorral felszerelt szobák. Nagy terasz, jó kilátás. A szállásadó azonnal válaszol, gyorsan teljesíti a kéréseket. Kaptunk plusz törölközőket is kérésre. Nagyon nyikorog a padló es a mennyezet, sokszor felkeltünk arra ha valaki elment pl. Wc-re. Elég idegesítő. A matrac nem volt túl kényelmes. A képekből nem egyértelmű hogy a penthause opció belső kétszintes, lent a 2 szoba + konyha, fent a nappali, fürdő, terasz. Sok és magas lépcsőfokok, kényelmetlen. Tusfürdő nincs. A legrosszabb a wc ülőke volt mert ha nem tartod a kezeddel lecsukódik, egy szivaccsal kellett kitámasztanunk. A kanapé kissé foltos.
• Stefan (9/5): - Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Galata-Turm entfernt. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war stets freundlich und problemlos. Ich komme gerne wieder.

• Martyna (7/5): Place was nice mainly because of the terrace view - Central location, close to the metro station. Amazing terrace with beautiful view over the city and the water. The standard is not so good - bed frame was loose, loose toilet seat, lots of stairs and living room separated (upper floor) from the kitchen so you need to carry everything upstairs which in my case (traveling with older parents) wasn’t ideal.

• Miriam (7/5): Zentral - Die Lage war sehr zentral in der Nähe des Galatasaray Turms in einer Seitengasse der Touristenstraße. Daher war es nachts auch ruhig. Das Zimmer wirkt auf den Bildern größer. Der Ausblick auf den Bosporus war ok aber direkt mit einer Baustelle vorm Fenster. Wir waren übers Wochenende dort und es wurde in der Zeit nicht auf der Baustelle gearbeitet. Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können und eine Möglichkeit sich bequem hinzusetzen ohne im Bett zu liegen wäre schön gewesen.

The resort was well staffed and not so big that you don't get personal service. It is a little out of the way, but that isn't really a negative unless you are looking for tons of touristy shops or night life.

• Vladimir (3/5): Do not go there if you do not want to ruin your vacation. - Location is great. That’s it. First of all, it is dirty. Right at the entrance there is a table with sprays against cockroaches, which in case sprays are not used feel themselves nicely at home. Also many flies and bugs were in the room. Second, the linen as well as towels are exhaustively used and should have been changed centuries ago. Third, the bathroom was probably not cleaned from the very beginning and you cannot fix the shower head, it constantly shifts left. Bathroom is tiny and lacks air extraction fan, so all the humidity goes directly in the sleeping room. Fourth, the room itself is in horrible condition, the paint is flaking off the walls. Fifth, the entrance stinks with pee. The owners invest zero in the apartment. During my several day stay nobody came to at least clean the trash bin. The towels and linen in Turkey cost nothing! Why not to change them to brand new? Just awful place.

• Helen (8/5): Great location, fine for short stay - This is an apartment stay. The location was great - metro lines M11 then M2 to get from the main airport (IST) to Sishane, then a 10 minute walk from Sishane metro stop; apartment located in the heart of the action in Beyoglu but also a little tucked away so it's quiet. The room was ok, there was just enough space to not feel cramped. WIFI worked fine. The level of cleanliness seems standard for Istanbul apartments (a few random stray hairs from other people and the floor needs mopping, but nothing life threatening). We did a quick wipedown ourselves (with wet wipes) for peace of mind. This is 1 of 3 apartments, and the apartment we were allocated was located right next to the front door - it could be annoying if the guests in the other apartments came back late, which would trigger the auto footpath light and front door opening/closing noises (eye mask and earplugs would be a good idea).
• Kirsten (7/5): Good location but right next to a construction site and a funny smell in the apartment - Location is very central, and the whole apartment to ourselves was great. Good views from the top. Aircon worked well. There is a massive construction site directly next door, it smells quite mouldy and the sewage pipes smell like they’re leaking a bit. There is a bad smell upstairs by the bathroom toilet.
• Sarah (1/5): Avoid at all cost - misrepresented, loud and unclean - Location in Galata is great, close to major attractions. This is the only positive aspect of our stay. I know how critical reviews can often seem too extreme - but if you’re reading this, know that my fiancé and I are frequent travelers, we’ve been to over 50 countries and use Booking.com for most of our stays, which 9/10 are phenomenal. We have never had as bad an experience as our stay at Atlas Han. It starts with the fact that the room we booked is falsely advertised place. The photos on Booking are clearly from when the place first opened (what appears to be at least 2 decades ago based on the terrible condition of the place today). As soon as we walked into the room, we were overcome with a nauseating, overwhelming smell of mould. Then we saw the walls, with giant cracks and paint peeling off. and the place has since been plagued by mold and the paint is falling off, making it look more like a desolate prison cell. The property also had several insects and was not clean. The room is also on the ground floor, meaning the guests hear a lot of noise any time someone enters or leaves the building. The building entrance door is extremely loud and wakes up even sound sleepers. On top of that, there is massive construction going on now in front of the window so add more noise to this whole situation. The property is also more like an AirBnB, expect no cleaning, new towels or replacements of water and tea. Finally, the host doesn’t care much about guests and instead of working to making this right, asked for additional money to be moved to a “supposedly” better place in the building (although I’m highly skeptical given how misrepresented this room was).
• Jae (8/5): Spacious apartment in central location - Located very close to Galata Tower and the many shops and restaurants surrounding it. The entrance to the building is tucked down a little alley so it’s more quiet than being on the main, busy pedestrian streets. The apartment also has views of the Bosporus and the Asian side of Istanbul. The apartment is spacious and perfect for 2 people. There is a construction site right next to the building, but they only work after 8am and not on Sundays or nights. The apartment is also pretty sparsely furnished and could use some lamps or an armchair. The kitchen has only the most basic cooking and eating utensils but it gets the job done.

Responds late or ignores your messages.You have to ask same thing multiple times for him to finally respond. Bathroom was horrible, felt like we are using a public washroom. It is just very badly designed. You don’t feel like going to the apartment due to bathroom. The construction site right in front is very noisy throughout the day. we asked if it is possible to change the room to which owner just said noo. he did not even ask what is the problem, no concern at all. Please be in hospitality business if you care for your guests.

• Daiva (8/5): Amazing own terrace - The location is very good, near the Sishane metro, Galata tower, and Istical Street. Very steep walk back from Galata Tower, though. Good sized bedrooms, very loud squeaky floors between bedrooms. Terrace is on the top floor of the flat and when coming down from the terrace to the kitchen, specially in the dark there is dangerous step which you cannot see and can easily trip on it (well I did) The view from the own terrace is amazing, the building site is still there, but we didn't hear it because we have been out all day. Good bathroom and hot water, good air con in bedrooms. Overall, I would book it again for the location and the terrace
• Sharon (10/5): Exactly what I wanted, close to the metro (Sishane) and a lovely view from the terrace. - I wanted to be close to a metro and have a view. The location was perfect, metres from Sishane metro and the view from the terrace was beautiful. The host was accomodating of our arrival time and very responsive. We'll be back. We didn't have a problem, but some people may have difficulty navigating the internal stairs.

Coming back from a full day of walking and sightseeing in Istanbul to the apartment was just great. Everything felt clean and the Air conditioning is just what you needed.

The view over the city and the light and large room was very very nice. The Nespresso coffee. The location was very nice and central. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast restaurant next door. It is good to know that only room 3 has access to the roof terrace. Room 2 has a great view as well. Room 1 no view.

Didn't meet host but they were very quick to respond to queries and sent excellent instructions on how to find and access apartment. Great roof terrace with views of the Bosphorus. Apartment has lots of character. Comfortable beds and bedrooms are a good size. Apartment is on two floors at the top of an old building. Stairs are steep, which some could find a problem. Lots of good restaurants locally and plenty of public transport options. Kitchen is limited. We just ate out. Being at the top of an old building meant shower temp could vary if someone below is using a lot of water.

• Hamed (8/5): Atlas Han critic. - The location was good and a lot of sightseeing are near there. The business holders are super friendly and helping. You should make sure that the taxi takes you to the correct place, because we were taken to the wrong place with a similar name and we had to reach the accommodation ,which is in the high hills with three extra heavy luggage and it was tough.

The stairs in the upper two-floor apartment are quite steep. Might be not ideal if you travel with small kids.

• Erem (10/5): Fantastic view of Bosphorous! - Awesome view of Bosphorous, location right at Istiklal, spacious and unusual 2 level design. Host was very helpful, met us at the door and showed everything. They managed to arrange an early checkin at my request. Be aware that bathroom and bedrooms are on different floors. Also, floors are wooden so a bit squeaky when you walk. I liked everything!

• Anna (9/5): Enjoyable, very welcoming host - Thanks for a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay. I would especially highlight the host being really customer-friendly and always willing to support. The apartment has got a curious layout (kitchen and bedrooms - 1st floor, bathroom and terrace - 2nd floor), is somewhat shabby, still a good value for money though. Quiet enough despite the construction right outside the window. As for the facilities, probably a dishwasher and a washing machine would make it much better. Moreover, the floor is partly squeaky, so once you decide to leave your bedroom (esp. at night), everyone would become well aware of that.

Helpful communication with Onur to negotiate the door codes etc. However daylight on Sunday revealed a large construction site directly below the apartment with JCB diggers etc ready to start work the next day at 8 a.m. as other reviews have said - I had not seen these comments as I booked before they were posted. It was unsightly and clearly going to be very busy. If you do not mind spending your holiday so close to a building site, or get up early before the work starts, as others have said, this could be a nice place for you. We did not want to risk it and moved on. The fact that the penthouse overlooks a large construction site.
• Patricia (8/5): Excellent place to stay right in the middle of everything. - Fabulous location, clean apartment, clean bedding, quiet. Never used the kitchen but it seemed to have everything. Lovely view beyond construction. Lots of room. We had to call host to get keys after we had arrived, he was there in 5 minutes. Very squeaky wooden floors. A flight of narrow curved stairs to get luggage up but the host helped us very willingly. Huge step to go into the toilet. No problem about leaving our luggage for several hours after check out but in an unlocked room downstairs.

We recommened this hotel and own - We enjoyed the location, it is near the Galata Tower and one the most popular shopping streets but not too loud. It was very clean and the view is very nice from the terrace and bedrooms. The rooms look as in photos. The owner was also friendly and let us leave our luggage on the day of the check out at the hotel. They habe everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom and there are some kiosks near the hotel , as well as many cafes and restaurants. At 8 o’clock right in front of the bedroom windows starts the construction work which is very loud , but its not a problem for people that came to visit the city and get up early enough.
