Комната убиралась по несколько раз за день, готовилась на ночь, всегда свежие полотенца - при этом ни разу не пересеклись с сотрудниками в номере; - в номере есть кран с фильтрованной водой - не нужно бесконечно думатб о пополнении запасов воды, она всегда есть; - в номере действительно бесплатный постоянно пополняющийся мини бар с безалкольными напитками и пивом, а также печеньками и чаем; для чая есть большой заварочный чайник - любители чая оценят); - читала в отзывах, что кого-то смущает близость к торговому центру, я же считаю это плюсом - шоппинг в Pacific Place прекрасный, заглядывала туда постоянно) пара небольших минусов, которые с лихвой перекрываются положительными моментами: - в отеле нет привычного лобби с баром, т.к. отель располагается на верхних этажах здания; - завтрак мог бы быть вкуснее в таком отличном месте) бекон и фасоль в английском завтраке так себе, но может быть отель делает акцент на китайском завтраке, его мы не пробовали;

• Angus (9/5): I look forward to visiting again soon. - What I liked most was the calm atmosphere and the excellent team that run the front of house. Nothing was a problem and all request were dealt efficiently and with a smile. The only slightly disappointing area was the small outside area which seemed a bit of an after thought.

Didn't interact with housekeeping directly but they cared for the room very well, attention to detail is noticeable. Location could not be more convenient with Pacific Place mall just a minute away.

• Marie (7/5): Lovely hotel, but our stay didn’t fully meet expectations. - I loved the minimalistic design of the rooms, location is great and breakfast delicious. Maybe we were just unlucky, but overall we did not enjoy our 3-night stay as much as we had hoped. The welcome at check-in was not very informative- the staff did not explain anything about the room, breakfast (location or hours), or the hotel facilities, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. This made the arrival feel a bit impersonal. The main issue, however, was the noise. Our room was quite loud - the windows were constantly cracking or rattling, which woke us up several times during the night. The sound insulation also seems poor, as you can easily hear people walking or talking in the corridor. The biggest disturbance came from the room above us, where a guest appeared to be exercising or bouncing a ball. We could hear everything very clearly and eventually had to call guest relations, who came to speak with the guest. With all of this combined, our stay was unfortunately not very relaxing. We might simply have been unlucky, but based on this experience I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

• Barbara (10/5): Excellent hotel - - Beautiful hotel! Excellent service. Our room was comfortable, well appointed and we couldn't have asked for more. The complementary mini-bar was a bonus. Comfortable bed and linens, beautiful towels and gorgeous view from both the living area and the bathroom. Excellent breakfast with amazing view of the city from the restaurant. A small pet peeve is no iron and ironing board in the room although the hotel was very happy to accommodate when asked for one.

• Frank (10/5): Wir kommen wieder! - Ein tolles Hotel, mittendrin und doch ruhig und superstylisch und cosy. Restaurant und Skybar können sich wirklich sehen lassen. Gute Atmosphäre, sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal, die Zimmer mit Badelandschaft und schönem Style. Das einzige, was vielleicht noch fehlt, ist ein Pool 😉. Wir haben es genossen und kommen garantiert wieder. Es war ein Tipp von Monocle. Nichts gefunden 😏

We celebrated a birthday there and can’t count the number of small attention and nice gesture. On top of the exclusive and high-end service. Breakfast can be a bit pricy and could benefit to be included in the room price somehow.

The gym is out of this world and opened 24h. Room service is fast and actually very well priced too. Honestly, nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would a massive lobby be nice? Yes but the whole point of Upper House is to sacrifice a bit of common spaces in order to offer big rooms.

Love the free items in the mini bar. And thank you for the complimentary room spray - I love it! Rather disappointed the hotel doesn't have REN products in your daily amenities kit anymore as have stayed many times before and enjoyed REN products. There are no vegan options on your room service menu which is extremely disappointing. Chef kindly made me a gluten free tomato based pasta but this was not delicious and it was the only dish on offer.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the excellent front office staff, particularly Leo, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Leo was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all of our needs were met and that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from recommending local restaurants to arranging transportation for us. The hotel itself was stunning, with modern and luxurious accommodations that exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of the city skyline. The amenities were top-notch, and we felt pampered and well taken care of during our time there. Overall, our experience at The Upper House Hotel was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the fantastic service provided by Leo and the rest of the front office staff. Great staff who got us a bigger room. Service is just great. Good location, easy to access the MTR station. Taxi/uber are all around. Very cool minibar selection and room equipment. It feels that the hotel is getting a bit old. Some rooms would need to be redone/remodeled. These are tiny details but many wooden parts are scratched, stained, cracked… looks live they have lived their best, but it’s time to freshen up a bit now. This is the only reason why I’m not giving 10. And first day, our room was quite smelly…?
